Addictive!...not George, I'm talking about the kebab

It's decent munch. I don't like the location. That little dead end road 🛣️. The queue is full of tramps and cabbies so me pulling up in a Balmain jacket looks out of place.

1 of the best donner kebabs in town and the staff serving are very friendly even their prices are reasonable compared to shop kebabs my favourite is donner and chips

5-stars for Food, Service and Atmosphere says it all. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Wonderful Georgie and his helpful, pleasant personnel were at hand to feed me their very best food. I fully recommend George's Kebab Van. I've become a regular because their food is unbeatable for taste, price and outstanding atmosphere. Thank you Georgies, keep up the very high standards.

George's Kebab is the best in Reading. No one can't beat the taste flavour. Only thing is sometimes the meat is smaller so a large kebab will look like a medium. COME ON GEORGE KEEP THE SIZES BIGGER OF THE KEBABS!!!!!!!

UPDATE!!! 29/7/23 Just come back to see you guys, no offer of the free kebab and chips tho 🙄 at least after repeating myself a couple of times regarding the order with mayo I got more this time Always go here however let down 2nd time now due to them being so rushed. Ordered 2 large kebab and chips, minimal meat, large mixed, mix wrap with lettuce and cucumber, ( forgot cucumber) and 2 chips with mayo they missed 1 portion of chips and then gave one dab of mayo! I even tipped them £2 again as always. What a let down won’t be going back

Don't know where to start about this. I orderd few times a large chicken Tikka kebab and it looks like extra extra small and also a mix doner with chips many times he hardly gives any chicken Tikka in it and the portion size is shocking with the price aswell it's unbelievable. I will stop going here from now. I've been a regular customer for nearly 15 years or so. This place has gone down hill.

Delicious kebabs, staff are always friendly and look after their customers, especially after a night out and amazing value - sometimes will come here just as a quick take away - even my partner and our son loves these!

I don’t know about their cababs but I had a burger 3 hrs ago! I don’t know how to wash the taste out of my mouth! Brushed my teeth twice and it’s still there… worst burger I’ve ever tried

Best Donner kebab in Reading hands down!! Easy access to park whilst your food is being made, best eaten straight away.

One of the best kebabs I have had. The kebab is cut to perfection, the chilli sauce is amazing. Chips are always cooked just perfect. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended

The Tikka kebabs are excellent. Plenty of chicken.

Good portion size in comparison to price. Meat wasn't greasy and was spot on. £6 for a king size you can't go wrong. Only thing i'd change personally is the Pitta as it seems kinda cheap, but to be fair, i'd rather the quality meat than the pitta. Will always return. Thank you, George!!

One of the best Kebabs i have ever had in the UK. Frequently drive down from West London and I am never disappointed. The portion sizes are very generous and the staff are friendly. Big shout out to George!

After reading the good reviews I thought I would give this place ago on a Friday Evening, was rather skeptical after seeing the prices of everything, ordered an extra large kebab £5.50 and a portion of chips £1... The Donner meat was average for a kebab shop so pretty good, the sizing as expected was miniscule (expected by the pricing) my usual kebab Van (By the old ford garage) would be offering up a medium for the extra received today, salad Was very green and very basic and the chili sauce was non existent, and the chips well for a £1 I still felt hard done bye lol they were all skin and no potatoe but what do u expect for a £1 I suppose, all in all very average I think people giving it 5 stars have been very generous, can't knock the staff thou very pleasant... I'm now off to Tesco as still bloody hungry

One of the best doners in England , not just reading, ask for a George special it's not on menu but is banging, excellent food and service, we regularly come here and travel over 40 miles Each way, it is that good in my opinion

I’ve been to this place since I was a kid I lower school. I remember sitting in the van seats whilst my dad would talk and joke around with the workers. The food is absolutely amazing.

Simply, really good Kebabs! The food here is really good, portions are perfect and reasonably priced too. Kebab wasn't greasy like you normally get, and the salad was crisp and fresh too. Street food at its best. Definitely worth trying out.
