Really lovely local cafe. Great home cooked food and friendly staff. Slightly hidden down a side passage - worth finding!

Overpriced fish finger sandwich with a very strange addition of radichio - side salad was brown and inedible. Friendly staff . Wouldn't revisit

Good service at the table. Cakes were great tasting. Tables quite close together but understand why when limited on space.

I would highly recommend A moment in Thyme . We went for afternoon tea and it was delicious. Great value for money and excellent service. Will definitely go back and try the lunch menu.

Called here for the first time today Thursday 22nd September 2022. Located down an alley way off the main street. Small place with outdoor seating and a conservatory. We got a table ok but it was a bit of a tight space. Decent menu and priced ok. What we did like was table service and also have a loo. Coffees were one size and must say they were not very strong taste. Scones were just too crumbly and when served with hard butter, it wasnt ideal. Staff were very friendly

We sat outside in the sun, I like that this place is dog friendly. Reasonably priced, had a lovely jacket potato. Iced latte delicious and they were able to make it with oat milk. We will return!

My husband and I with our son and daughter-in-law tried this little café on spec and weren’t disappointed. I had a delicious omelette (sadly no veggie breakfast) and the other three all had full breakfasts. Then we all had cakes/desserts. Plus teas and coffees. All very nicely cooked and lovely service. A fairly simple and relatively small menu but we weren’t after anything fancy. Would happily visit again.

Excellent omelette. Jacket potato OK. Not a place where covid arrangements can succeed. A lot of tables in a small space. Watch you don't get overcharged. You need to be alert. Toilet not accessible. They are doing their best in difficult times.

After procuring Paula's services for catering, we decided to visit her new cafe. A definite must if you are wanting to eat whilst in Ashby. A Moment In Thyme's food is gorgeous, great value and great spot down a quiet courtyard. Perfect!

Pizzas arrived in poor condition, all toppings slid off and welded to the side of the box, had lost heat too. So was cold and hardened to box. Chips were Luke warm and not the large portion we ordered compared to previous orders. Bad service.

Got a takeaway for four on Sunday evening and they phoned to say it was ready after 20 mins having said 30! The food was great and in generous portions. I couldn't believe how big the sweet and sour chicken balls were! Plenty left for lunch the next day. Do not eat Chinese very often, but this certainly exceeded my expectations!
