Absolutely shocking got fish chips and curry the fish was soggy like mush asif it was not fresh and had been frozen it won’t be the same again so won’t be ever going again !

Been here a few times now with family and the food is excellent, service very good and even the sense of humour of the staff is worth a mention... amazing!!!

Been waiting since 1st lockdown to visit the restaurant and it was well worth the wait food is fantastic, restaurant is spotless and clean and the staff are brilliant nothing was too much trouble we will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Hull.

We live in Scarborough so have a high bar for fish & chips but fancied a good value lunch after a visit to the deep. We were so impressed. The batter was so thin and crispy, non of it was greasy and even the tea was great. They were being really careful in these covid times. We wish we lived nearer as this would be our 'go to' chippy. Would absolutely recommend.

Social distancing and all rules observed. Haddock and chips were great, as was the best cuppa I’ve had in a long time. And we were offered extra chips if we wanted them.

After Covid 19 this fish and chip is finally open, there was a great system to make sure we and there staff were safe. We had our lunch , they made sure we we not near anyone and sat us down . When the polite lady took our order she was full of smiles and made us feel at ease. Me and my wife had large fish and chips and we shared some delicious minted peas. The range of food offered is endless. The food came freshly cooked and plentiful . We were asked if we wanted a hot refill and any more chips , but to be honest the portions were large. It was so nice to have great service and thank god they were open to have our first treat in 3 months.

Went in with my mum.have to say this is miles better than papas ,fish was lovely the chips were amazing wish it was open on a night . everyone must try it awesome

We came along this place by chance as my husbands first choice had shut down, So fate brought us to this place which serves the best fish and chips we have both had in a long while. The Fish was beautiful and chips cooked to perfection, even the curry sauce had two options of hot or normal - hot was tasty. Staff were very friendly and efficient, even with the dad jokes. And all for a very reasonable price of just over £10 for large fish and chips, Curry sauce, bread and butter and drinks. You won’t be disappointed.

Exelent Fish and Real home cooked chips .the staff smile when you enter and you get a banter as you wait for your food.This place is what Real Fish and Chips is about. our boss paid for our meal so we do not know if you pay before you get your meal or afterwards.Staff are brilliant .the humore is alive and you do leave with a full tummy and a smile

Quite honestly best patties around and we have tried them from everywhere Mollys certainly has plenty on offer and plenty for the kids Our fav a god old Pattie and chips 👌 fantastic

Delicious fish served by very nice people in a very beautiful tribute to the fishermen from the past. You can take away but you can eat in too. You would like the poems and pictures on the walls. Don't foget to leave some coin for RNLI, the lifeboats service.

I went there today after I had heard good reports. I wasn't disappointed. I asked if there was waitress service, or whether I should queue up for the order. The man told me waitress service was £50 extra. I liked that kind of humour and it seemed a really friendly place to go to. The cod, chips, minted mushy peas, bread and butter and cup of tea was £9 something, but I guess that's par for the course as fish and chips is no longer a cheap meal. The minted peas were home made, and the fish and chips were excellent. I got asked if I wanted extra chips half way through my meal. The only thing I could fault was that once you're sat down, there wasn't that much room. If your a big bloke like I am, you'd be a little squashed in, but having said that, it was well worth the visit and I do intend to go again.

Finding myself on 'Hessle Road' with an hour to kill, I decided to give M.M. a try for a spot of lunch. For £5.95 I had a small but more than sufficient plate of fish, chips and mushy peas along with a pot of tea. That's what I call value! and not only did they taste good, I was asked if I wanted more chips after I had cleared my plate. Must return soon.

Once again had a fish and chip lunch at this lovely little restaurant. Was greeted by Jackie and her staff as long lost friend. The food was excellent and the service the best. will go again

We sat in the cafe for our fish and chips, complete with gravy, mushy peas, bread and butter and tea. Absolutely lovely fish, white and fresh and lovely crispy batter. The chips were to die for (and we even had a few scraps!!). Friendly staff and great service. If you want a real traditional fish and chip experience of excellent quality you will get it 100% here! Love it!

Followed the advise of trip advisor and had lunch at Molly Malones. Fantastic quality fish and chips and really great service, could not fault the quality. On the down side being a bit picky, would like tom eat and pay the bill after and being on the large side (3 of us) the bench seats and tables were a bit of a struggle. But that didn't stop me giving the best rating I could.

Had a typical fish and chip lunch, was warmly greeted by Jackie and her staff. The food was excellent and would recommend this café to anyone fancying fish and chips. Very good.

First visit to this fish and chip shop, ordered small haddock and chips for my 91 year old dad as a birthday treat. He thoroughly enjoyed them, the chips were golden and crisp, the patty was scrummy and the fish delicious. Will visit again.

The chips at this chippy are the best I’ve tasted or many years. They are always brown not the horrid pale insipid thing that are served in most shop these days. The fish at Molly’s are always crisp on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. I have eaten fish and chip all over the county and when ever I go back to Molly Mollones I am surprised at how good they are. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Popped into this lovely typical fish and chip shop. Warmly greeted as usual. The meal was excellent, you can have as many plates of chips as you like without any extra charge. Will go again.

Visited Molly Malone's again...., It is my dads favourite fish and chip experience in Hull. Great value for money, staff are friendly and attentive. The offer to top up your chips for free stands - not that I can ever fit them in! And impressed to see they offer speciality teas. Park for free over the road.

Once again visited Molly Malone's, It is by one of the best if not the best Fish and Chip shop in Hull. The fare is excellent, The staff are very friendly always a smile on their faces, nothing is too much for them. Highly recommend this establishment.

In my opinion this is the best chippy in hull..nice friendly staff and lovely food..if you sit in to eat they bring your food over and provide bread and butter.they also say just let us know if you want more chips..which of course we never do because the portions are generous in the first place...the batters also lovely and different because they add chives to the batter mix (think they are chives).you dont have to go inside to see how popular it is just look at the queues everyday at the serving window outside . definitely recommend anybody to try here

I often use Molly Mollones when I'm down Hessle road and the fish and chips are really tasty.I have tried the other shops down Hessle road and molly's does seem to be one of the best.Well worth the money.

Been here many times, consistency never seems to be a problem. Always beautifully selected, skinned and boned, cooked and presented!

We usually eat here a couple times a year while visiting family in the area. This is a proper chippy! Great food and very reasonably priced. Always clean and the staff are great.

What a refreshing change to have perfectly cooked chips minted peas and the choice of patties we had traditional and fish patties generous portions as well and not greasy lovely lunch

Me and my mum visited for a sit down meal,we went for the fish special...skinned haddock,chips ,peas and a pot of tea for £5.25......this was the small fish but easily enough to fill you,the food was extremely tasty,piping hot,really cant fault it at all,was asked if we wanted our teapot topping up and even if we required more chips,super friendly staff,great prices and superb food...5 stars....go for it....
