Coming from the ferry, we let Google guide us to breakfast and found this small, very extravagant shop! Very good breakfast, at a really good price. The owner is very nice and, above all, a record fan 😃 it played 70s music on a nostalgic record player and during a nice conversation he showed us his favorite record: an original Beatles - Sgr.Peppers first pressing!!

Great place, good coffee, home made food with ingredients from the allotment…..can’t do better than that

We have been going here every Wednesday for the year, Chris, the owner has looked after us very well all year round. He knows I'm on a plantbased diet and always caters to my dietary needs, which is much appreciated. Thank you for 2023 and we will be back in 2024.

We go here very Wednesday now for eith breakfast or lunch, the food is always excellent and service is great. You can even have a game of pool or table tennis as you wait for your freshly cooked food, or relax with either a posh fresh coffee or instant the choice is yours. Found this little gem of a cafe on our hunt for breakfasts. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Chris, who owns the cafe, is a great guy, and we come here every week now. All his food is lovely and fresh, and he has catered to my non dairy diet. The place is lovely and you can have a game of pool or table tennis while you wait for your fresh cooked grub, in a great atmosphere with vinyl records are playing. I totally recommend people try the Choppers experience 100%

Nice little cafe, was quite busy, we had a bacon and sausage sandwich, sausage was pre-cooked, which was a shame, but my other half said the bacon was nice , efficient service, reasonable priced menu, hot and cold drinks available .Parking available with disabled access and Toilets available .

Great little place to eat if your anywhere near Hessle Road or Boulevard. Friendly and helpful staff, great food and good menu, well worth a visit.

Tried this place today staff were extremely helpful and friendly had the chicken curry off the specials board which was absolutely delicious, lots of choice on the menu all very reasonably priced, will definitely be back

Food is excellent, service is efficient and friendly. His specials are to die for, especially the curry. One of the best cafes in Hull and I, with my 36inch trousers, speak from experience. Plus if you ask him, Chris will demonstrate his Grease dance routine he learnt from his Am Dram class, he really hits the high notes on his rendition of Summer Nights.

Choppers bar is the best cafe in the area. Chris is Polite and friendly. And a high standard of food is served, cooked fresh and too order. Cannot fault. And a game of pool on my dinner hour cannot be bad. Keep up the good work 👏 👍 💪

owner gets proper aggy when we go in a play pool and he charges £1 for a can off tango when i could off walked down the street and got the same can for 39p ps he's a duty waste man, id give no stars but thats not an option
