We had dinner here - they have a Japanese menu - the steamed buns, katsu curry and gyozas were amazing!! Also very dog friendly. Wonder if they do take out...

Amazing location and so much potential but the food was terrible. Just go for a drink because if you’re like me and like Japanese food, it’s not worth it

My partner and I had the most amazing meal here! I met a stranger who told me I must go to the Mole & Badger as there is a chef that has put on a Japanese style menu. We were blown away, everything was delicious, the bar was pretty impressive too, loved the Gin from Cookham. The service was great, might even be the best in England, never had to ask for anything, we were well taken care of. I can't wait to come back. :)

Great staff, even better food! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The mole and badger has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere that no one should miss out on! Overall great experience.

I popped in for a drink with a friend and were warmly greeted. So much so we decided to eat there later that evening. They asked us to get there at 7 so the kitchen could cope. This we did and were ushered quickly into an empty dining area. A dining area that never filled up. From thereon things went from bad to worse. The food was sub standard. One of our meals was cold on arrival. The service was non existent. And clearly they only have one chef in the kitchen. To sum up: it was appalling. And that is being kind. Don't even be tempted to go there.

On booking my festive afternoon tea I explained that I did not want the champagne. My request was granted and I was offered soft drinks. This was confirmed by telephone conversation. On arrival and at our table with my family I was told that I had to have the champagne because I had booked the festive afternoon tea. I felt very embarrassed, especially when the manager was called over. I explained that on booking my festive afternoon tea I was told that I could request soft drinks instead. In the end they let my family and I order fruit juices, coffee beer and tea! My tea was also cold, my first cup had bits of tea swimming around, my second cup was also cold. I do like extra milk, but the tea was cold before hand. I agree with another reviewer that the decoration was very poor. We did not have carol singers only the pianist. The sandwiches were ok but not as good as they used to be. Our left overs were bagged up nicely but our scones were missing! I have also been coming here for several years. I’m afraid I shall not be visiting again.

There was a good selection of beers and cider. We had food which was nice and the atmosphere in the pub was excellent. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. I would eat and drink here again when in Windsor.

Bloody lovely. We had wings to start. Two had burgers. One had ribs and I had a steak. Two portions of brownie. They made custards which isn't on the menu. I had a cheesecake. Also made us Cocktails that weren't on the menu. Served by Sam and Bella. Sam was chatty but not intrusive. Both fitted in with our sense of humour. Both affable and welcoming. We will visit again. Thank you

Tried out the Bear for breakfast as quick and easy plus it saves us cooking and cleaning. We had a traditional breakfast with some extra bacon and mushrooms, miners Benedict and 2 hot drinks. Our mugs arrived quickly and drinks are self service but easy to get. Our food arrived not long after and hit the spot; young lady who brought was lovely and polite as well as helpful. Breakfast disappeared quickly along with a second hot drink. Staff checked on whether we’d enjoyed breakfast and overall our experience was very positive. Used the app to order breakfast and found it easy to use. A nice breakfast and experience for us so we’ll be heading back.
