Fantastic, couldn’t fault the service or food. Delicious seafood salad, and hubbie had the cheese and ham baguette, also very tasty. And the cake was fabulous. So pleased we stumbled across this lovely family friendly cafe. 😁

Such a pleasant absolutely delightful little cafe. Lovely friendly warm welcome. Really amazed by the extensive menu. All the cakes on the counter looked delicious and were home made. Anything we wanted to eat would be accommodated which is so rare when eating out. We both have special diets, gluten wheat and dairy free, and often feel awkward and struggle to find something interesting to eat when ordering at cafes and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Diane. They told us about their family run little cafe and how they would cook whatever we wanted and if they didn’t have what we liked they would get it in for us which was so lovely and for us had huge appeal. We only wanted a cuppa and it was near closing time but we couldn’t have been more delighted and so glad we went on in impulse. Our teas were served in good quality white china on a lovely tray with a tea pot and jugs. We felt very relaxed and attended to. We will be taking the grandchildren there in the next few weeks and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended. Five star

Contacted Sam enquiring about a baby shower a few months back, being my first time organising something I was a bit nervous, and right from the get go I couldn't be more grateful for how helpful she was. On arriving, I was really early and was welcomed with smiling faces and a good chat. When the guests arrived, the drinks were served quickly and the food was presented and tasted gorgeous. Happy faces all around, and has made my best friend day. Thank you all so so much. We will be recommending and returning. (Also the mocha I had was gorgeous) Beth x

I visited for coffee on a Thursday lunch time between 12.30 - 1.00pm. It was not busy though and I was soon the only person. The coffee was very nice, no problems there. Unfortunately though tables had been cleared they had not been wiped. Crumbs, sticky and horrible. I looked round and all the tables appeared the same. I asked for a receipt but this was not possible. Apparently the worker had mislaid her receipt book. This cafe does have a 5 star hygiene rating. I would not be returning as I personally think a clean table is important.

Staying in Great Yarmouth and wanting to find an independent coffee shop that makes freshly ground coffee was not as easy as I thought, but I found this little jewel. Lovely friendly greeting as I walked in and the coffee was perfect. Lovely home-made cakes and a good variety. The establishment was a Harry Potter paradise, lots of memorabilia and I understand they hold special “Harry Potter” events. I was certainly return next time I am in Great Yarmouth.

My favourite place to go. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, quality drinks and food that are beautifully presented. They sometimes hold Harry Potter events, which are truly magical, and they kindly catered to my vegetarianism. You can certainly tell they consider every detail to make customers feel welcome, rain or shine! 110% recommendation!

First time I've popped into here despite walking past many times , when we arrived there was only one other couple seated however once our order had been taken the cafe became flooded with customers . With only one staff member on duty at that point this could have been a disaster , however everyone was seated and orders were taken and drinks quickly dispatched . The food is nice , theres a good variety to choose from the menu and with a great sunny service I will definitely be returning .

On a day out to Great Yarmouth, we were looking for a cafe for tea after our lunch on the beach, we spotted Mocha. We went in but there were no other clientele, just a man sweeping up. It was after 2pm on a Monday in early March, so not that surprising and on asking if he was still open, we were told that they'd stopped serving food but drinks would be ok. I opted for a pot of Earl Grey while my wife had spotted speciality hot chocolates and asked for a Pink Unicorn, which turned out to be raspberry syrup flavoured, served with cream and sprinkles. We chatted to the man who served us and it turned out he was the husband of the lady who normally runs it, he was an Endoscopy Technician at the hospital! He was very friendly, the atmosphere was very good and the tea and chocolate were delicious. We will go back to try a lunch there next time.

We headed into town as we did not want to have the usual food offered on the sea front. We found this friendly cafe/bistro. The place was family friendly and the food was excellent. I had a soup and Sandwich which was excellent and the half a sandwich was on thick bread which was filling. My wife had a cheese and chill wrap which was delicious and our child had a tuna baked potato that soon was eaten up. The staff were very good and could not do enough for you. We were looking for somewhere different to eat - a change from the endless fish and chip outlets along Marine Parade. Tripadvisor reviews led us to this small and simple eatery near the shopping arcade and St George's Park. We were not disappointed: Mocha does exactly what it says on the tin. We shared jacket potatoes (good chili sauce), paninis and salad, served fresh with a smile. Everyone was happy, especially our grandsons who are very discerning foodies and gave it the thumbs up. The cakes looked tempting and I'm sure everything is home-made. Would strongly recommend a visit if you want tasty food at very reasonable prices.

We stumbled upon Mocha whilst heading to the quay and stopped in for lunch with my mother and father in law. We were welcommed immediately on arrival by the young lady working and she was quick and friendly when taking our order. We ordered coffees and hot chocolates (theres a lot to choose from) and a sandwich, nachos, a ploughmans lunch and soup for our meals. The soup was homemade and very tasty (I took their recipe away!) The sandwich was on hand cut bread and so large my mother had to take half away. The nachos and ploughmans were huge and very impressive. Talking to the young lady we found out that they have recently opened as a bistro on evenings so my husband and I booked in to try it out.

I was visiting the area and the original place I was going to go wasn't open so looked on trip advisor for suggestions and ended up here. Managed to park in a side street for free, long enough for breakfast which was a bonus. Great value small breakfast, £3 for 1 sausage, bacon, egg (fried or scrambled), beans and toast, which was all I needed. I have had better breakfasts on my travels but I have also paid a lot more for them, which is why I still rated this as excellent. Lovely lady serving who was very friendly and proper Yorkshire tea. I would go again if I returned to Great Yarmouth.

We often visit Mocha for lunch and coffee, and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The new owners have worked really hard to put their own stamp on the place and improve the decor, service and menu and have done well. We'd heard that they were trying out an evening bistro idea and reserved a space on their taster night. Considering it was only their second night we couldn't find a single fault. Sam, our waitress was perfectly attentive without being too intrusive, and the food was delicious. The pork was to die for and the puddings; boozy and totally worth the calories! We can't wait to book in again when it's officially open. We'd eat here every evening if we could!
