Misty Moon Pub in Hillingdon

Lunchtime today shared a nice Thai meal with a friend with couple of ice cold beers served by a lovely barman called Andy. He was very friendly and most welcoming for first time visitors. I will visit again once they reopen after their refurb. He said it was most likely to take 6 weeks, so already starting counting days from Sunday 16th January 2022.!

The bar staff were lovely and quick with our large group. The booths are particularly nice and the thai food available at the pub is delicious!

Nice bar staff and reasonable Thai food, that’s where it ends! Lazy restaurant staff didn’t clear our table, food on the table and floor, eww. Inside the carpets are frayed, cheap metallic garden furniture left at the front of the pub! The Misty Moon is dingy and dated, stuck in the early 1980’s in terms of decor, grubby carpets, gambling machine in corner, dirty tables and floors, basic beer with a strange mix of clientele. Northwood is a salubrious area with not even a half decent pub or coffee shop! With regards to this pub, it would be more riveting to drink warm beer at home and watch Eastenders!

Cannot recommend Monday night steak night enough. Always great food, great flavours and sooo plentiful, you will be podged after.

This has to be the worst take-away ever. Thai food is one of my favourites, but what was produced in their kitchen, was dreadful. Cold, congealed, and certainly not authentic.

The Misty Moon is a large convenient pub located in the small town of Northwood. There was plenty of seating and due to the pandemic we were shown to a free table and drinks/food was ordered from the table; despite the pub being busy there was no significant wait for service. There was a great selection of drinks on offer; our party drank guinness and I recommend it too. Jen the land lady is very friendly and welcoming but be warned she does not take any rubbish from rowdy punters as we saw on the night. I do highly recommend the Misty Moon and will visit in the very near future.

If you’re happy waiting 25 minutes for a drink, this is the place for you. Recommend you order in bulk, shocking service.

Shocking!!!!! No checking of anything, basically a free for all. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Bar staff ok but possible bar manager just wanders around., no mask, no social distancing. Enter at your peril

Wow! Wow! Wow! Had an amazing experience at The Misty Moon Pub in Northwood for their steak night. I had the 12oz steak with chicken wings cooked to perfection served on a sizzling dish with all the extras- mushrooms, peppercorn sauce, sweet potato fries and a ceaser salad. I was full to the brim and very pleased with what i had got for the price. My partner had fajitas and it came on an impressive serving board with all components to make the perfect wrap. Service was excellent and we felt very safe with all measures in place to be able to be socially distanced. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent food both on the Monday steak night and Thai food on all other days. Service is excellent from both bar staff and landlady who keeps a respectable pub for people to enjoy. See photos for the ribs and the steak was out of this world do not miss an opportunity to try this - it’s fabulous. Lovely and safe atmosphere for all to enjoy an evening whatever you are there for. Would highly recommend 5*** forget Lomitos try here, much better value for money and quality.

The Manageress has always been rude but this weekend she surpassed everything she's ever done before, she actually pushed customers exclaiming that she's the law and they do what she wants or get out, they were waiting to buy a drink. all she had to say was could only one be at the bar please in each group, several people left immediately. Then she went round near by tables and took glasses, that still had drink in them, no apology for this just more rudeness and stroppy attitude. Bloody awful pub luckily I won't be going back until she's long gone. Service from the bar staff excellent, just need to keep her well away from customers, I won't put on here how she's described in the local area because it won't get put up to warn unsuspecting people that this is not a pub to go to have a nice relaxing time.

It’s loud, but it’s THE pub in Northwood. Food is great, bartenders are friendly and the drinks are not as expensive as in Central London.

Only place you can really go out for a drink at in Northwood. Prices for pints are relatively cheap so not too expensive for an evening out. Inside is ridiculously loud when they have a live band playing however so you can barely have a conversation with your friends.

Mean spirited landlady. She wouldn't let me use their wifi unless I bought a drink, even though I had bought a meal! How petty
