Food was really nice! Excellent from starters to mains, all made fresh to order. The service is brilliant, everyone was hands on when we needed something! Very well decorated and good atmosphere! prices are very competitive and it’s worth the money.

First time here, was recommended by a few friends….food was absolutely amazing….literally would eat here everyday.

Unfortunately, not as good as it used to be. I’ve ordered a few times over the last month. Food lacked taste, no other flavour or aroma other than spicy chilli, mutton was tough. Kebabs, naan and fried rice were ok. A waste of money.

1st time going here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The variety of food on the menu was great. Plenty to choose from and the portion sizes are very good. We were a table of 3, chose lots of different dishes. It all tasted fantastic. I enjoyed it so much that i ordered the same food again for takeaway. They desserts looked delicious but we could not order any due to being too full. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The background music was nice and not too loud. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to my next visit.

My local go to spot. Food is excellent from the starters to the curries to the burgers, all made fresh to order. The service is great nothing is an inconvenience for the brothers working there. Everyone that I have took or recommended speaks of this place highly. Can’t beat it, the prices are very competitive and it’s worth the money.

I celebrated my birthday at Mishti Desh. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived, making the occasion feel all the more special. The waitstaff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the celebration ensuring we were well cared for. Our meals arrived promptly. The food was absolutely lovely! Each dish was well-prepared and bursting with flavour, delighting all of us. The manager also provided an excellent menu at a good price, which my family thoroughly enjoyed. It offered a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences, and we all left feeling satisfied. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a wonderful meal.

We went to Mishti Desh today for dinner and the service was fantastic. The waiters were super friendly, and they kept checking on our table to make sure everything was okay. We had a chilled relaxing atmosphere and the 2 little people enjoyed their burgers and chocolate cake.

Really good food. Freshly cooked. The toilets were clean. My only issue was service is a bit slow. Decor could do with some improvements the flower arrangements could be better put. Overall great food for great price. Would definitely visit again!

Me a couple of my friends went for a long drive n dinner from London n Surrey to Birmingham and ended up at Mishtidesh Lozells, believe u me I have not had a meal like this in long time, food was absolutely delicious, presentation was 10 out of 10, great service and finished of with their in house made mishti (dessert). Well worth the drive, definitely will visit again.

Great authentic bangladeshi food, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was first call also along with the general atmosphere. Seating in the restaurant is also very family friendly with plenty of space. Parking was also noted directly outside We will definitely be visiting again, worth the drive from Leicester

Unfortunately I spent over an hour and a half waiting for my food and then when it arrived it was 20 mins after the other people I came with had ordered. Waiters were nice but I don’t see why they serve 4-5 tables at the same time rather than finishing the current table. I had to watch multiple other tables get their food whilst half our table had ours and started eating and half were waiting. I understand it’s busy but it ruined my appetite waiting so long.

5* If there was 7 stars available I would give that too! We ordered for 50 people a order to be collected 2 weeks in advance for a specific time and date. Mishti Desh were very professional, organised and communication was easy. We made a last minute change and they accommodated for us. They were punctual with the order collection time and the packaging was fully secure and safe. The food was delicious, piping hot and was enjoyed by all our guests and we definitely recommend these guys for your outdoor catering needs. I will be praising this team and ordering again, highly recommended. (Fresh homemade kebabs, thank you uncle!)

Only slightly marked out for servic due to the time taken to get our food but.. understandable as as were prepping for some sort of an event before we arrived. The food was amazing. My double patty smash burger melted in my mouth. Highly recommend! Great spot.

Seek kebabs is delicious and the smoked salmon starter too. We had the prawn achari curry and chilli chicken curry..its as lovely but too spicy for me 😂 Service is pretty good but a bit slow. Caribbean crush mojita was lovely and the naans are lovely and fresh. I think food takes time as it's freshly made. Clean restaurant and family orientated and pretty busy. Must go!

I had a takeaway today for a meat bhuna. It was so oily and very untasty , it just tasted like it was soaked in oil. The nan was so hard and stale and so disappointed with the fries that were very oily

Can always rely on this mishtidesh to satisfy all our bengali food cravings! Especially with the borthas and biriyani. The owner is very kind and welcoming, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service time is a bit of a wait but worth it for the food you get :)

Food is bang on bit oily at times but the flavour is 10/10 and is cooked to perfection 👌 Wide verity of options even with the desserts. Only thing is service can be slow at times but food makes up for it

My family had tried your curries before an i have ordered again, Your curries was so delicious so tasty an it was cooked to perfection, it had a really good authentic smell to it, my family enjoyed the meal ..... it looks like a nice place, nice interior, it hasn't been around long but... DO NOT ORDER FISH PAKORA HERE!!! I've ate fish pakora from so many different places, few around Handsworth, it's one of my fav fried snacks to order. I thought I'd see if theirs was any good, it was the worst! I nibbled a couple of pieces and threw it all in the bin, full of oil and smelled so bad, I prob would have been sick if I attempted to eat it all. £15+ wasted, inedible. Fix up boys.

One of the best restaurants in Birmingham! Food is always served in a timely manner and bangs every time (double smash burger is delectable). Staff are welcoming and very attentive. I would 100 recommend

Wrap had way too much mayo in and the salad tasted off, could smell it with every bite Asked for curly fries got given normal. The fries were the best part.

The food was delicious and the starters were easily able to feed many people. The food was given out quickly and there is a space to pray as well. We were given free chocolate and the waiters and owner were so nice and helpful - 5 star service :)

We heard a lot about the branch of Mishtidesh from others. We went there last week to pick up some Iftar, we usually go to Cov Rd, but this branch is closer. If you are looking for fried iftar delights various pakoras and kebabs and naga roll, then look no further, prices are reasonable and taste as expected crunchy, fresh, flavoursome bhajis without smelling your house out.

Was my first time visiting this place & cannot reccomend enough! The food was absolutely amazing… Cooked to perfection & FULL of flavour!!! The service & staff were incredible, despite being so busy as they had a full house, they accommodated to us and helped us with any questions we had. We heard a lot about Mishtidesh from others. We went there last week to pick up some Iftar and sweets. We wanted a mixed box of sweets. We were given a particular white sweets nearly half of the box and they went off within one day despite being in the fridge. We were also being sold a keema paratha as most popular and it tasted awful. We would not have expected such treatment especially in the month of Ramadan. Really sad 😔!

I bought sweet (KalaJum).its look very old.test less..i will not go back to them again.

Lovely Spot in the heart of Lozells. Food Amazing, Decor is very modern. The service is spot on top notch. Jhangir, Shohid and the boys are amazing. Sylhet O Fish and the red prawn Bhuna are my favourite dishes, must try. Highly recommend this place !

We had a 50th birthday party today and I really enjoyed the meal husband had lamb biryani so tender meat cooked to perfection I had the smash burger was very nice would order again and steak chip which were great crunchy on outside and mushy inside. The staff are very friendly hardworking and helpful I would recommend for small parties or meal out with our desi mums they would like the food here.

If i could give 10 i would. Absolutely amazing food. The chicken tikka is absolutely delicious. We was in the area & thought we give it a try, it did not disappoint! The food is to die for, full of flavour. The owner is such a polite guy & prides himself on customer service, chucked in a few sweet treats for us which was yummy. The food was good I recommend the chicken grilled burger. The main criticism would be the brothers need to relax on the colouring on the lamb chops it's really off putting to order this due to the heavy and excessive amounts of coloring they put on, leaves the colouring all over your finger for days!

Fish curry was fresh and cooked perfectly.

Great atmosphere, good service and attentive waiters, albeit, the food took 45 minutes to arrive for a group of 5. At the time, there was another party of around 8 people and that might have impacted the food preparation times, but either way, 45 minutes was a little excessive. The food, however, was fresh and full of flavour; no complaints there. I’m not from Birmingham, but I may come back again if I’m around the area to try some other dishes as the menu is quite diverse from curries to grills to smash burgers. Also, free parking available for patrons but the availability of bays are very limited: don’t forget to validate the parking too!

Visited here yesterday and came again for a work meal. Service and food was just as great as yesterday and had a lovely welcome by the owner Shahid and great service by Mubeen Qahar and Bisma :) As expected there was a longer wait for the food on a Saturday evening but it was worth it as the food is always fresh and never disappoints. Have been here many times and keep coming back just because the customer service is so great! Lots of places have good food but it makes a difference when the staff are friendly too.

Amazing food and amazing service as always. Have visited this place many times with friends and family and food has never disappointed! The owner Shahid is always welcoming and makes great effort to make sure we enjoyed our visit and Mubeen and Qahar gave great service, orders were not messed around overall staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be coming back many more times this year :)

Lovely friendly staff. Always take care of customers and are very welcoming. They recommend good dishes to have while there and it always tastes really nice. All the food there just taste really good. Kid friendly and decor is very nice. A nice place to have a party or occasion there. I am a regular at mishtidesh and they always make me and family feel very welcome. Management is great and staff are brilliant. I can not find any faults with the service and everyone there, Alhamdulilah. Good job!

Alhamdulillah. I had the pleasure of eating there on the 1st day of 2024. We all had Smash Burgers to start, followed by King Prawn Birany & Tarka Dal. Alhamdulillah all our food was really good with impeccable service. Top Class all the way. Keep up the great work.

I live in Manchester. Have to visit this place when I come to Birmingham. Management ,staff ,food is on next level.. can taste all flavours. I have really high taste buds. cooked to perfection. The best thing is it's so busy. I have to wait a while for the table, so make sure u book a table in advance. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Shohid. I can't wait to come back.

Best king prawn puree I ever tasted.

Came for a meal with my family a few times now and the food has been consistently amazing with mouthwatering flavours! The service has been nothing less than exceptional all the staff are very friendly and helpful, the ambiance is cosy & family friendly! I will definitely keep coming and I encourage everyone to come give it a try as they have something for everyone

The akhni was horrible ,very poor quality food , 4/5 pieces of beef in it and rice were undercooked. Never again akhni. Not tasty at all . Not worth of money.Very disappointed .

Hi the only reason I gave 1 star because my food wasn’t delivered,I saw driver coming to deliver my food and I was waiting in front of my house to collect my food, the delivery driver didn’t stop and deliver food he just clicked on the app as food delivered and run away with the food,it was £32 orders and I can’t find any number of just eat to speak to them . Awful experience with the order,my guests were waiting for the food but food wasn’t delivered,I called restaurant they said it’s wasn’t their own driver it’s just eats driver, so they can’t do anything about it , Only for £32 foods if the driver can do it,he can steal your money if they get any chance. Restaurant should deliver food with their own driver. I won’t order through just eats again.

Prices are very reasonable not inflated as some other restaurants, amazing food taste perfect, have been twice now and will come back for more. Definetly one of my favourite places easy 5 out of 5. Plenty of options to choose from. Parking is available literally outside the store.

I am sorry I never leave any reviews but i had to warn customers, Please avoid this place We had samosas smell and taste really bad and chicken was so nasty and the chicken smell so bad looks like 2 or 3 days old its horrible why open something if you are not passionate about it . I don't want anyone to get food poison its a food health risk hazard we are having bad stomach 🤬 i see alot of good positive reviews. i wonder who they could be 🤔 💭
