Best Bengali food in UK!!!!!! I use to love a place called Grameen khana in ladyppol road which has sadly closed down but this place has got similar food. I’ve been going there for years with family and everytime I’ve been it’s been delicious. Right spices good food. Chumchum puree and salmon tikka is my favourite starter. Chicken naga tawa has tantalising taste, very rich in taste most recommended. Love their deserts too very unique and different so highly recommend this place. Gaffa always happy to greet in a beautiful manor so love this place. Food is great customer service is excellent…

Best place to eat in Birmingham. Every time we come from London we come here; great value for money, amazing quality of food every-time, and truly the best customer service you’ll ever find in a restaurant even at a packed iftaar time. The owner is a very honest and friendly man makes us enjoy our every visit here, even the waiters who work so hard take time to speak to us.

Went there for iftar yesterday after travelling from Northampton to visit the BD High Commission and some shopping. Food is freshly cooked and piping hot and well worth the wait! Great food with great options for the whole family. My wife settled for a Special biryani with dall whilst I had the mixed grill with fries and my son a chicken burger and chips! Great food and great tea after. The waiters on point and friendly as was the owner! Definitely worth going remember to log your car in the registration system and enjoy! Will definitely be back on our shopping trips from Northampton.

I collected a takeaway from “Mishtidesh Lozells “ and loved it! The meat Biryani was flavorful, the Tarka Daal was rich and delicious , and the Gulab Jamun was perfectly soft. Great food and smooth service—highly recommend!

I went today and ordered 4 regular containers of lamb fulab/ahkni. The guy shouted from the kitchen to ask if I wanted it cold or hot. Should've taken that as a red flag for not being fresh, as when I heated it up during iftar, a strong whiff of a foul smell hit my nostrils. The fulab had gone off. Opened the other containers and they all had the same smell. It smelt as if it was over a week old and had gone off. Had to chuck all of it in the bin unfortunately. What a waste of money, and lost respect for you for serving old food, especially during Ramadan. Tut tut.

Went from south wales to eat in mishtidesh today and was not disappointed, the owner was really friendly and so was all the staff, felt welcome as soon as we walked in, the restaurant is really cute and cosy, the food was delicious and customer service was amazing. Definitely will go back when we visit Birmingham again. Thank you Mishtidesh for your lovely service.

I just went to Mistidesh today and guess what I order a lamb biryani came within 10 mins it was to perfect, delicious as well. Unfortunately I got a little bit piece of a container in my biryani it was little bit sharp. We all make mistakes indeed the kitchen staff although biryani was 10 on 10❤️. Loved it. As soon as I let them know about that sharp container piece in my biryani the owner came to me within second and apologise to me. Very humble person friendly as well, and the other staff he is very nice to me, he was servicing me deserve my respect.They offer me free biryani as well as desi tea drink and yogurt. I was feeling very shy because they didn't take my payment. It was a very pleasure to meet them.I'll recommend everyone to go to their place and enjoy the Lunch or Dinner❤️ Owner was speaking with me like my brother specially (tui).I didn't mind that language towards me, sylheti mat o re bhai ola oto sundor amrar sylheti ma he is like my big brother.All the staff were very kind love to see their happy faces. Had dinner recently. All staff were very nice and friendly. Thankfully, I had the chance to try a few different dishes. All were delicious. Will defo visit again soon.

Mishti Desh Lozells is perfect for all occasions. Whether it’s for a family meal or catch up with friends, you can’t go wrong going here. Food is always amazing and full of flavour. Their menu caters for everyone in the family and for all types of cravings, from curries to smash burgers to desserts and much more. I highly recommend this place and it’s totally worth the visit. They don’t skimp on food portions, they are well priced and service is spot on. Restaurant is aesthetic and warm.

We are a white english family and ate here today with my brother and little boy. We were made to feel incredbly welcome and the staff were all smiles. We had a mixed grill which was truely delicious and spiced just right. Great value too. I couldnt recommend enough. Thanks for all that work here your a great team.

So we where out working as we do in our electrical trade And we hit luch time and we where driving up lozzels road and we couldn't decide what to eat We got to the end of the road and thought Rios it is Then we saw the window screen at this restaurant displaying food so we went in Thinking let's give it a shot What a cracking shot it turned out to be Nice clean environment nice decore Lovely guy served us very good with making us feel welcome Well informed and trained We ordered food came out fresh and piping hot We ate to our fill and normally as we are working hours we don't get dessert But this place got us fully food drunk and high on sugar We have found out new food spot on lozells road and heathfeild road Amazing experience will be going there alot more

Didn't enjoy the mix grill. Was too spicy. Chicken tikka was horrible 0/10. Lamb chops was bland 3/10. Sheesh kebab was no good 0/10. Wings where horrible 0/10. Money wasted.

Been here on a few occasions now and the service is amazing. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is beautiful. Never been unhappy and we have tried a few things on the menu now. Clean and tidy. Always a nice atmosphere here. It our new go to place. Prices at very reasonable. Thank you for a great service and great food.

Amazing Food, best Smash Burger around!

The food was nice, good quality meats and Prawns. Naan and poppadoms really fresh and lovely. Chutney selection was mediocre, the yoghurt dip really sweet and mango chutney of low quality .

will tell you order is ready and you still have to wait 30mins in the store, also there Karahi is not a Karahi more like a jalfrezi, No salt in the Biriyani. overall poor quality food.

Iv been here multiple times with my family. The food and customer service is always on point. One of our favourite places to go! The kids are quite picky so getting a mix and match of starters always works great for them. They have a car park which is a bonus.

High quality Bangladeshi food. King prawn curry 👌🏽 Rest of food great too. First time visiting and pleased. See pics for example. Only thing was service was a bit delayed, as they warned us, due to there being so many customers (not a bad thing) - but if short on time, then take note Also, don't forget to put in your car reg plate on the computer on way in.

Unfortunately, not as good as it used to be. I’ve ordered a few times over the last month. Food lacked taste, no other flavour or aroma other than spicy chilli, mutton was tough. Kebabs, naan and fried rice were ok. A waste of money.

1st time going here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The variety of food on the menu was great. Plenty to choose from and the portion sizes are very good. We were a table of 3, chose lots of different dishes. It all tasted fantastic. I enjoyed it so much that i ordered the same food again for takeaway. They desserts looked delicious but we could not order any due to being too full. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The background music was nice and not too loud. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to my next visit.

My local go to spot. Food is excellent from the starters to the curries to the burgers, all made fresh to order. The service is great nothing is an inconvenience for the brothers working there. Everyone that I have took or recommended speaks of this place highly. Can’t beat it, the prices are very competitive and it’s worth the money.

I celebrated my birthday at Mishti Desh. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived, making the occasion feel all the more special. The waitstaff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the celebration ensuring we were well cared for. Our meals arrived promptly. The food was absolutely lovely! Each dish was well-prepared and bursting with flavour, delighting all of us. The manager also provided an excellent menu at a good price, which my family thoroughly enjoyed. It offered a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences, and we all left feeling satisfied. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a wonderful meal.

We went to Mishti Desh today for dinner and the service was fantastic. The waiters were super friendly, and they kept checking on our table to make sure everything was okay. We had a chilled relaxing atmosphere and the 2 little people enjoyed their burgers and chocolate cake.

Me a couple of my friends went for a long drive n dinner from London n Surrey to Birmingham and ended up at Mishtidesh Lozells, believe u me I have not had a meal like this in long time, food was absolutely delicious, presentation was 10 out of 10, great service and finished of with their in house made mishti (dessert). Well worth the drive, definitely will visit again.

Great authentic bangladeshi food, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was first call also along with the general atmosphere. Seating in the restaurant is also very family friendly with plenty of space. Parking was also noted directly outside We will definitely be visiting again, worth the drive from Leicester

Excellent service and great food!

Unfortunately I spent over an hour and a half waiting for my food and then when it arrived it was 20 mins after the other people I came with had ordered. Waiters were nice but I don’t see why they serve 4-5 tables at the same time rather than finishing the current table. I had to watch multiple other tables get their food whilst half our table had ours and started eating and half were waiting. I understand it’s busy but it ruined my appetite waiting so long.

5* If there was 7 stars available I would give that too! We ordered for 50 people a order to be collected 2 weeks in advance for a specific time and date. Mishti Desh were very professional, organised and communication was easy. We made a last minute change and they accommodated for us. They were punctual with the order collection time and the packaging was fully secure and safe. The food was delicious, piping hot and was enjoyed by all our guests and we definitely recommend these guys for your outdoor catering needs. I will be praising this team and ordering again, highly recommended. (Fresh homemade kebabs, thank you uncle!)

Only slightly marked out for servic due to the time taken to get our food but.. understandable as as were prepping for some sort of an event before we arrived. The food was amazing. My double patty smash burger melted in my mouth. Highly recommend! Great spot.

Seek kebabs is delicious and the smoked salmon starter too. We had the prawn achari curry and chilli chicken curry..its as lovely but too spicy for me 😂 Service is pretty good but a bit slow. Caribbean crush mojita was lovely and the naans are lovely and fresh. I think food takes time as it's freshly made. Clean restaurant and family orientated and pretty busy. Must go!

I had a takeaway today for a meat bhuna. It was so oily and very untasty , it just tasted like it was soaked in oil. The nan was so hard and stale and so disappointed with the fries that were very oily

Can always rely on this mishtidesh to satisfy all our bengali food cravings! Especially with the borthas and biriyani. The owner is very kind and welcoming, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service time is a bit of a wait but worth it for the food you get :)

it looks like a nice place, nice interior, it hasn't been around long but... DO NOT ORDER FISH PAKORA HERE!!! I've ate fish pakora from so many different places, few around Handsworth, it's one of my fav fried snacks to order. I thought I'd see if theirs was any good, it was the worst! I nibbled a couple of pieces and threw it all in the bin, full of oil and smelled so bad, I prob would have been sick if I attempted to eat it all. £15+ wasted, inedible. Fix up boys.

One of the best restaurants in Birmingham! Food is always served in a timely manner and bangs every time (double smash burger is delectable). Staff are welcoming and very attentive. I would 100 recommend

Wrap had way too much mayo in and the salad tasted off, could smell it with every bite Asked for curly fries got given normal. The fries were the best part.

We heard a lot about the branch of Mishtidesh from others. We went there last week to pick up some Iftar, we usually go to Cov Rd, but this branch is closer. If you are looking for fried iftar delights various pakoras and kebabs and naga roll, then look no further, prices are reasonable and taste as expected crunchy, fresh, flavoursome bhajis without smelling your house out.

Was my first time visiting this place & cannot reccomend enough! The food was absolutely amazing… Cooked to perfection & FULL of flavour!!! The service & staff were incredible, despite being so busy as they had a full house, they accommodated to us and helped us with any questions we had. We heard a lot about Mishtidesh from others. We went there last week to pick up some Iftar and sweets. We wanted a mixed box of sweets. We were given a particular white sweets nearly half of the box and they went off within one day despite being in the fridge. We were also being sold a keema paratha as most popular and it tasted awful. We would not have expected such treatment especially in the month of Ramadan. Really sad 😔!

Lovely Spot in the heart of Lozells. Food Amazing, Decor is very modern. The service is spot on top notch. Jhangir, Shohid and the boys are amazing. Sylhet O Fish and the red prawn Bhuna are my favourite dishes, must try. Highly recommend this place !
