Mirimar Hotel in Bournemouth

Fantástico tiempo en el Hotel Mirimar el sábado por la noche para nuestras obras Fiesta de Navidad. El personal era fantástico, la habitación del hotel amplia, la comida era buena. Desayunamos a la mañana siguiente también y estaba delicioso. Fantástico.

Fuimos aquí por mis obras Fiesta de Navidad el 7 de diciembre de 2024. Qué noche tuvimos. Todos tuvimos un tiempo fabuloso - de principio a fin. Cuando llegamos nos recibió Azafrán que nos hizo sentir muy bienvenido y fue muy amable. Más tarde conocimos a Michaela que había organizado mi fiesta de trabajo de principio a fin. Ella nos mostró los alrededores. Michaela era muy servicial, muy amable y extremadamente servicial. También nos encontramos con Brian que de nuevo, era muy amable y servicial. Todo el personal allí (que conocimos) es un crédito absoluto para el hotel. Estaba tan bien organizado, la comida era preciosa - en general una noche fantástica. El alojamiento era genial y también el desayuno por la mañana. Estaré regresando. Un hotel que vale la pena visitar, ya sea para tomar un café, un lugar para alojarse o para tener una fiesta

Cena y espectáculo Asistimos a una cena íntima con cabaret de Luke Hingley como Michael Buble. Teníamos el menú de la cena de Navidad, incluyendo un cóctel, que estaba muy bien preparado, en particular el besugo. El servicio era atento y todos los servidores eran educados y acogedores. Luke nos sorprendió no solo con uno sino con dos sets de 45 minutos - canciones de Christmas Buble en su mejor momento. Este es un hotel muy bien dirigido y volveremos pronto! Precioso hotel pintoresco con fabulosas vistas al mar. Gracias especiales a Brian por asegurar que mis alergias alimentarias fueran atendidas. Definitivamente volveré.

Fuimos a tomar el té de la tarde con mis amigos y todos estábamos muy decepcionados (habíamos estado antes y estábamos muy contentos) reservado para las 3 de la tarde llegó justo antes. Habíamos reservado y en la reserva pregunté si podíamos estar sentados en la cubierta superior solo para descubrir cuando llegamos que había una fiesta privada en esa zona. Así que nos sentamos en otra mesa y eran las 3. 35 Antes de que alguien nos preguntara qué queríamos, trajeron el té y tuvimos que esperar hasta las 4. 15 antes de recibir cualquier alimento. Elección de bocadillos y pasteles eran muy pobres a diferencia de nuestras visitas anteriores

Our original room, recently refurbished, had a peculiar smell, and an aircon unit near our window which was quite noisy (this was on the first floor overlooking the car park. We asked to be moved and were given a room on the second floor. This room had not been refurbished and was small, needed decoration, new furniture and certainly a new bathroom. The bath was tiny, nowhere to put toiletries, broken fan and dodgy shower controls. On the plus side the parking was free, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the two dinners we had were excellent and we considered them to be good value for money. The breakfast was adequate but some of the alternatives e.g.Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs attracted a surcharge of £5.00. We booked in advance and had a 10% discount on the dinners. Talking to other guests at dinner we were surprised to find that some of them had been coming to the Mirimar for years, some more than once a year! We assumed that if you paid extra for a sea view the standard would be better.

for last 7 years my friends and I have loved dining on terrace at Mirimar hotel. However last week on 2 occasions we had horrible overpriced food at lunch The chicken Cesar salad used to include smoked chicken in abundance with avocado and crispy croutons. Now for 16 pounds it's Little Gem lettuce no shards of cheese no avocado and hardly any chicken pieces . My 2 friends and I thought it disgraceful. A similar state of affairs 2 days later with a 19 pound Steak sandwich : the sirloin was barely discernible amongst the mushrooms in soggy white sandwich toast. Also chips ; if I want thin oven chips I can have these at home. The french- fries used to be really good here. Sorry, but in my and 3 friends opinion penny pinching portions with very expensive prices. We won't be going back.
