Mint Cuisine in Birmingham

closed down. We used this restaurant on a fairly regular basis as did many of our family. However onour last trip to dine we found the establishment closed down. It looks like it is not sue to reopen any time soon Keith C

didn’t deliver what was ordered and when we phoned was told they would come straight out but never did

Good food as always but the driver was terrible phoned us from shard end saying he can't find us, after 3 phone calls he still drove past the house. We even had to warm the food up but can't complain about the food

ate in here a few times with my fella who is Afghan as he knows the owners and it’s been beautiful proper traditional cooking ordered a take away last night and it was vile wasn’t spicy or traditional was like eating from a totally different place ....never again my stomach was also bad for over 24 hours which never happens to me as l grew up on this food

The food as always been of a good quality and we will order it again we usually collect it from the shop but it nice to have it delivered thank you we enjoyed it

Como local de este restaurante hemos estado varias veces. Siempre calificando la comida y el servicio. Llegamos el viernes por la noche, nos sentamos y preguntamos si nos gustaría bebidas como de costumbre. Las bebidas llegaron. Estaba muy ocupado con bastantes familias en tan alto. Pero eso no se puede evitar especialmente a la hora de la cena. El servicio fue bastante pobre con los camareros siendo bastante brusco. Nos preguntaron si queríamos poppadoms. Fueron llevados a la mesa sin decir una palabra. Nos sentamos y esperamos a que nos quitaran la bandeja para que salga la red eléctrica. Pero fue un tiempo después. . la comida de mis socios no tenía sabor, en absoluto como solía ser. El servicio fue pobre Siéntete decepcionado por un lugar que solíamos disfrutar y recomendar. .

we went here for a Family member's 30th Birthday the service was abysmal we had to wait ages the food was dreadful it spoiled our night we had children with us that were really hungry.

Husband and I went at 7pm on a Saturday night, staff friendly, food delicious and comes out in good time and don't feel rushed.

One main meal was swimming in oil. We ordered 2 mains, 2 starters and 2 extras - they delivered 1 popadom when they usually deliver 2. Naan bread wasn't fresh. The delivery was 25 minutes late. Disappointed!

The food arrived quicker than expected however food was cold, poppadoms were stale, raita and yogurt dip had gone off. Prawns smelly and tasted rubbery. Not recommended.

Chips over done. Brown and hard. Curry was tasteless, needed salt. Starter was nice. But far too much colour on it.

Came over 30 minutes late! Was advised to not pay and order from somewhere else by just eat the food finally came and was told I had to pay full price for food that I had to re heated because it was cold really not happy at all waste of money

Meal would have been nice if it warm, we served it up and the order was all cold. Nevertheless the the service was good but the food was just disappointing as it was so cold.

Sólo ha tomado aquí por mi hija, no puedo comer cosas picantes no más me da mal acidez en la noche. Nos habían compartido fuente para empezar que era agradable luego tuve bistec con patatas fritas la placa estaba llena con patatas guisantes ensalada, carnes poco cubierto de cebollas y champiñones me gustó, pero no podía comer todo lo que tenía. Mi hija tenía curry que también. El personal era encantador y amable servicio fue estupendo. Nunca supe que este sitio estaba allí, si estás en la zona de prueba que no te defraudará.

Main meals nice. However, Peshawar naan was burnt and have very little coconut. Smallest portion of chips ever, not even a handful! Delivery was late. Thanks for the ONE free poppadom lol.

Everything was great apart from the onion bhaji starter .. they where rock solid!

Food arrived cold and there was an item missing. The item was delivered after a call was made however it was 15 minutes after the rest of the food. Food tasted really good once warmed up, just unhappy with the delivery.

1st arrived 2hrs early at wrong address, phoned to say had tried to deliver but obviously hadn't. Arrived 2nd time 15mins later than specified but food was luke warm. I rang to complain but the staff weren't very helpful however they did sort out a fresh meal which arrived in about 20mins. This time food was hot but unfortunately I couldn't eat the curry as it tasted greasy. I couldn't be bothered to phone to complain again tonight but won't be ordering from them again.

Order food around 6.30 it came at 7.50 (1 hour and 20 mins) food came and it was absolutly vile Chips,rice,onion bhaji,chicken starter was freeeezing cold garlic naan was cold rock hard and burnt (like a frisbie) Of course being busy can be manic but it was very dissapointing so rated the food a 3* as came back after 20 mins with all fresh food i.e everythink was fresh and the person we spoken to couldnt be more apologetic but normall food service and delivery was normally 5*

My favourite restaurant.Its friendly, clean and food is always served to tables with a smile. Takeaway service is really fast too.

Teful mix was rather oily which was a turn off so that went in the bin. But the madras curry and Rice with a keen naan was lovely. All food arrived quickly and piping hot. Thanks Mint 8 out 10.😊

Terrible, I live 5 mins away but it took 90mins to deliver my order, which was wron so had to wait longer

My first time ordering from this take away and I've received the wrong order, however the food was good.

Food was 25 minutes late, chips were cold, lamb was chewey and tasted like lamb and dog meat mix, was not nice at all and could not continue eating, will NEVER order from there again. And manager refused to even a partial refund. A disgrace! Do not recommend

Delivery come with item missing and tandoori chicken was lukewarm and very small missing chicken leg took 45 mins to come live few minutes away very bad service first time ordered online the other restaurant better in yew tree

First time using Mint.Delivered on time.Chicken Tikka main-tasted lovely but most of the chicken was quite firm and chewy.Not good.Onion Bhaji nice but cold.Poppadoms good.Naan Cold.In fact the mint sauce was the warmest thing in the bag.Overall not a good experience and glad i didnt order a curry.Will not be using again.

Meat ( lamb) was tough, in main meal which was Lamb Tika Bhuna. There is no provision for modifying the meal to suit your tastes.

Meal was lovely except asked for hot madras balti but was mild and chips never came, but upon phoning they delivered immediate and apologised, would give them another try!! Xx

Absolutely shocking!!!!!! After using Mint curry serval time this has put me off from ever using them again! No salad or sauce with the starter and it was freezing. Poor service

Just eaten here with 2 friends, absolutely fantastic food, probably the best Indian cuisine Iv ever eaten and service was fantastic, Mo was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, he even recommend the which dishes he thought we would like, food came and was out of this world, will deffo return! 3 full happy northern boys!!!

I asked for delivery at 9pm it arrived at 8.05pm, they took it away and redelivered at 845pm it must have been the same curry because it was only warm when I went to eat it. I rang up at 9pm to complain and they said they would do a fresh which took over an hour to cook and deliver. I'm really not impressed with the delivery service. I asked about a refund and they refused as is paid through just eat xx

I had heard some good things about Mint but never really thought about going, sometimes inner city restaurants are much of a muchness, however we decided to have a couple of beers and a curry and Mint was the place. First thing we noticed was how airy it was, and dining on two floors a nice bar area it was something calming about the place with nice background music, we were greeted by a charming young man called Hasan who was our waiter, you know, this guy was a perfect host, friendly intelligent and a great conversationalist, well something must go wrong! And guess what? Absolutely nothing it was superb, the popadoms were fresh warm and crisp the sides of onion relish, mint sauce, chutney were fresh, our tandoori plater for two starter with the sides was tasty but the creme de la creme was the Chicken Makhani and my chicken in a thick hot spicy sauce together with the onion rice was magnificent, the garlic bread was moist and not overdosed with garlic, 2 beers each we thought it would end up being expensive but no! The MD Abdul Hasib I had met before at the Curry Garden, I think he was head waiter, boy he has really done well and his preservence has paid off, all of the staff were incredibly friendly you got to try, will we? Oh without doubt. You see there are gems out there and whilst the Michelin Star ones we have in Birmingham are a credit to the city and may they carry on being successful, but places like Mint should be judged on the excellent service, food and ambiance and at £22 each what a bargain

A local curry house (one of many) but the always excellent food and service, whether we eat in or have a takeaway, ensures we keep coming back!
