My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. Lovely food with a great atmosphere. Tannah our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and what to recommend. We had some great banter which really added to the experience. The Will definitely return

Habiendo sido recomendado este restaurante por sus filetes y por fin capaz de reservar una mesa, estábamos realmente deseando nuestra comida. Nuestro champán favorito es Laurent Perrie Rose y en el menú de bebidas de su página web, lo tienen por copas... (hasta el día de hoy todavía se nota por copas) cuando llegamos allí y fuimos a pedir, nos dijeron que no venden por copas... Ni siquiera después de explicar que el sí lo tienen en el menú en línea. "debe estar desactualizado" fue el comentario. Pedimos King Scallops X 2 para empezar. . . Bueno yendo por las fotos que habíamos visto, esperábamos muy bien presentado y sabroso. Lo que obtuvimos fue 4 pálidos, demasiado cocidos y ciertamente no cocidos el tiempo suficiente. El gusto no estaba allí y para la presentación. bueno no como ninguna de las fotos y sin duda una falta de ella! Para nuestro plato principal, pedimos el Chateaubriand (Medio) , con salsas de bearnesa y pimienta en grano y los lados fueron; verduras de temporada, patatas fritas saladas marinas y cerveza rebozada aros de cebolla. Lo que tenemos es un filete medio sobre cocinado. . . (Tal vez el corte central era medio, solo) chips no crujientes sin color. Sobre la verdura cocida y salsa bearnesa insípida con una piel (pareciendo muy poco fresco) y para la salsa de pimienta en grano, no una idea de maíz de pimienta. Los aros de cebolla estaban bien. Elegimos copas de prosecco como aperitivo y una botella de vino para la comida. No pedimos desiertos como lo que hubiéramos elegido, vimos entregado a la mesa de al lado fue un - acogedor. Pagamos y nos fuimos. No podemos vernos regresar. Decepcionado.

We have been here a few times now and absolutely love it! Our servers tonight were Tricia and Tasha who went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed and an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend Mini Grill!

We had our wedding day meal at the mini grill steakhouse and the staff went above and beyond for us. Food and service was 10/10. Would recommend and we will be back! Thanks again to all the staff at mini grill!

Holy shit!!! I can't think of the last time I had a meal this good! I ordered the venison and everything on the plate was superb. Only sorry I wasn't in Glasgow longer to come back and try the rest of the menu. Do yourself a favour and eat here. Lovely lighting, music and atmosphere 5*

Food is good quality but lacking the correct finish completely disappointed with my visit tomahawk steak I wouldn’t liked it left for me to cut wasn’t cooked or seasoned enough the chips are crazy thick leaving the centre raw onions rings are nice an the vegetables are a bit rustic wouldn’t visit again meatjoint round the corner is so much better depth of flavour to the food 👌🏻

Dined here but not through choice as we had a voucher given to us. My partner and i both had steaks which were very nice but my partner found two insects in his salad and when we complained the server was a pretty nonchalant and just said och it's just the salad as if it was no big deal. They did deduct our dessert and a glass of beer but despite that wouldn't return. This shouldn't have happened and i hope they're more thorough in future!

Can't fault it. We shared the Tomahawk, cooked to perfection 👌 the scallops and yorkshire pudding side, although our eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies. Highly recommend

First time at Mini Grill and my first steak dinner in a long time. Had a £50 voucher to use, so decided to go for a proper treat. We ordered the Tomahawk steak, £88, which comes with salad, 2 sides and 2 sauces. We went for: 🥩 Tomahawk Steak: Asked for medium-rare, but it arrived much closer to well-done. We mentioned it, and they replaced the steak - though it did take a while. To be sure, we asked for the second one to be rare, and it came out much better (swipe for comparison). 🍟 Chicken & Thyme Chips – Insanely good, packed with flavour and so moreish. These were the highlight for me! 🥔 Roast Potatoes – Crispy on the outside but a little dense inside. They had a nice seasoning, but they didn’t quite hit the same level as the chips. 🍶 Sauces - Red wine jus & Peppercorn - both were fine but nothing standout. They added moisture but didn’t bring much depth to the dish. The staff handled the mistake well, replacing both the steak and sides, and took our wine off the bill, which I appreciated. But for the price and reputation, I expected a smoother experience. Even the new steak didn’t blow me away, was just fine. I wouldn’t rush back, which is a shame. I'm appaled at how bad this meal was. Came here for a birthday meal fro my partner - left a note stating it was a bday. We ordered the sharing tomahawk - waited one hour !!! For food. One whole hour the restaurant wasn't even at 40 percent capacity on a Saturday night that's when you know somethings up. The steak literally smelled off. It was vile - overcooked slab of meat. Never ever again. The chips were vile smelled like old oil. We were offered a free drink but who wants to wait an hour on food? Super disappointed. Over 100 quid for a bone for our dog lol hysterical. Waitress and staff were kind but by my God never again. What a horrendous experience. The steak genuinely smelled like it had been lying out for days like off meat. I complained about it but was told the meat is cooked in stew juices - strange. Was given 10 percent off the bill but wow - save your money go elsewhere and get an actual meal what a disgrace. They also never bring a dessert or candle for my fiancées birthday which I requested - terrible service. Disgusting food.

We’ve eaten up and down the country and here was one of the best meals we’ve ever had (Sunday roast), the cut of beef was delicious, potatoes and veg cooked perfect and the service was phenomenal. They even made mint sauce from scratch when they’d run out and we’d never expect that from anywhere (and it did taste good) Definitely recommend and will come back whenever were in Glasgow!

After visiting here a few times, this is one of my favourite places for a special dinner. The service is excellent, alcohol menu extensive and food delicious. The steak was tender and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. There was seating available as well as the ability to make a reservation online. Parking can be difficult though being in the city centre there's enough streets that it should be possible within a 10 minute radius. Overall a great place for a special occasion.

Christmas day was made a pleasure by the service (Tricia, Cara especially) being pleasant and professional without being snooty. The Christmas Dinner was delicious, all four of us were in agreement, cooked and seasoned beautifully. £39 for a sirloin steak is expensive, but I don't mind if it's worth it. The steak was cooked medium as recommended, but somehow ended up as the driest and tasteless steak I have paid for outside of cheap chain places. No real taste or seasoning, so was a bit of a chore to eat. I've been to pretty much all steak restaurants in Glasgow and West End, this is the most disappointing, I have never reviewed a bad steak before. Ordered a coca cola on arrival which arrived lukewarm, ego reacts to drink lukewarm drinks??? didn't finish it and ordered a pint instead which at least arrived cold, had to ask twice before I was served it though. Wife had Sunday Roast, which she said was ok at best.

A absolutely brill and experience from start to finish. Welcomed in by very friendly staff and was seen to promptly and frequently throughout our visit. The aesthetic of the place is really nice. The space is quite small but you don't feel crammed in. The food was sensational. The steak was absolutely perfect. The sides to compliment were equally sensational. The staffs knowledge of the menu was also very helpful and appreciated. I forgot the name of the female server we had but she was just brilliant! Funny but professional. It was the night before my brothers wedding and upon learning this our server brought us free Tequila shots to round of a turely perfect and delicious evening. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone.

The food was delicious, starting with a variety of starters including bruschetta, haggis bites, and pork belly. For the mains, we enjoyed chateaubriand, Côte de boeuf bavette, sirloin, and venison, all cooked to perfection. The delicious sauces, fabulous chips, and rosemary roast potatoes complemented the dishes perfectly. Some of us managed to squeeze in a dessert, and the beautiful panna cotta was described by one guest as the best she'd ever had. One of our guests has multiple food allergies, and we had alerted Mini Grill at the time of booking. They handled it brilliantly, with no fuss or hassle, demonstrating a complete understanding of the food they had cooked and what could and couldn't be included. The drinks were excellent, including a recommendation by our server, Sam, about gin with fresh chili. Wow, what a revelation! Sam was amazing—warm, friendly, and chatty, with a great knowledge of the food and drinks. It was a brilliant experience, definitely the best steakhouse experience in Glasgow by a mile. Overall, Mini Grill is a hidden gem in Glasgow that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Just went here hour ago and I could not recommend this place enough. The staff was absolutely amazing and were very very friendly. The portions were absolutely massive and me being a food guy I can usually finish it but there was no chance. I’ll deffo be back.

Our overall experience was exemplary to be honest. From customer service to quality of food, to the general ambience. Perfect. As someone who doesn't like places that are too noisy or too busy, this was perfect for my partner and I, since it was a smaller environment. We felt really well looked after and especially because of the fact that my partner has a myriad of allergies. They were super attentive and made sure several times that the food would be appropriate for him (and me!). The food was fantastic, I had the smoked haddock and my partner had a steak. Very delicious. If you're looking for a steakhouse to eat at in Glasgow, definitely try this restaurant!

We were in Glasgow 3 nights and had dinner here twice! That should be an indication of our appreciation of Mini Grill. From the Pork Belly starter to the venison, steak and risotto mains, we found the food delicious. We especially enjoyed Tricia as our server as she provided insights to the menu as well as suggestions to make our stay in Glasgow memorable. Glenn received high marks for his martinis. My wife was thrilled that they were so accommodating to those that have to eat gluten-free. All in all, a totally enjoyable experience - both times!

Mini Grill Steakhouse in Glasgow is a must-visit for meat lovers! The burgers are fantastic, but the real star is the perfectly grilled, top-quality meat cuts—truly exceptional. It's not the cheapest, but the taste and quality are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a special meal!

Visited recently for daughter’s 21st and from start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. Food was delicious and enjoyed by all. The service we received was second to none - well done to all the staff! What an asset you all are. You made our daughter’s day very special

This is my 2nd time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Both times I have been attending the Kings which is a stones throw away from this venue. On this occasion I was with my mum. Our travel arrangements to our booking of 16:45 did not go according to plan so we were running late. No issues telephoned the Restaurant they held our booking as long as we could finish for 18:30 which was not a problem. On arriving we were a little bit frazzled however no worries, the staff including Tricia made us feel so welcome and relaxed. We had the Haggis Trio which is a favourite of mine and Burger both of which were delicious. We ate downstairs which is very intimate as you are seated close to other diners. This makes, in my opinion, for a pleasant atmosphere and we spoke to a lovely couple sitting to next to us. Tricia along with other staff made us feel really special and could not do enough to make our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Will be back. Thanks to all the staff we spoke to or were served by you made our day out extra special.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here with 8 member of my family for my mums 70th birthday and the experience was excellent. I had visited a few years ago and found the food and service to be brilliant so was keen to try again. I had to pre-order due to the amount of people we had and the fact that it was a Saturday, a little different to what I'm used to but everything went smoothly. If I had to have a little grievance I would say that when I had to change a couple of orders a few days before, and phoned to do this, whoever took my call never managed to actually relay this onto the staff that served us on the day. Right, down to the food. Most of us had fillet steak and the standard and taste was outstanding. Cooked to perfection and my table was very satisfied. The food standard, from what I remember, has not dropped and we couldn't have been happier. Starters were all given pass marks also. Service, now this is what stood out on the day. Tricia was terrific, nothing was too much trouble and her bubbly sociable self was a breath of fresh air. I can't give Tricia enough praise for her level of attention and service. The rest of the staff were also very good too. Overall, a brilliant restaurant for a scran, good atmosphere and prices are not over the top. You pay for quality food and that's what you get. Keep up the good work!!

Found this little restaurant on Google and it was the best place we ate in Scotland. We took the Angus fillet with potatoes and found them truly exceptional. Juicy and soft meat and the fries fried to perfection. Everything was so good that we took another portion. The livale is also really nice. Well done. Compliments.

I am in a food heaven. We had the venison dish and it was so good. The teenager in our group did not want to eat anything else as it would take away the great after taste. I did have the Bee garden desert and it was the perfect light dessert after such an amazing meal. Food is great and ambience is good

Would highly recommend the Sunday roast, the meat comes within a large and very delicious Yorkshire pudding, the sauce is lovely and complements the veg and potatoes well. The portion is more than enough and the other cuts look and smell amazing as well. A place can often be judged by the kids menu and hand made chicken and hand cut chips are certainly a good indication. Overall the atmosphere is unnoticed in an appreciable way, the food is all you need to focus on. The service was amazing, a rarity in Scotland, ready to give anything and very accommodating. 5/5

Outstanding steak, young South African girl was lovely and very pleasant to deal with. It is quite expensive but it didn't disappoint, definitely worth the extra for what is served up.

Pretty disappointing experience. Went for the Sunday roast. The chicken was a measly portion, barely any gravy and boiled unseasoned disappointing veg. Really don't recommend going here for the roast, you can get better elsewhere. Staff are friendly though, service was completely fine.

I Read the reviews and was so looking forward to my visit. I travelled from Birmingham for this special meal with Friends. Sadly it was very disappointing, they forgot to do one of the main meals, had asked for scallops as a main, when it eventually came there was only 4 on the plate, then 3 of the 4 steaks we ordered had to go back as tough as old boots. They did us new steaks, two of them was very good, but the fillet was still not great. We had to ask for more vegetables as they had gone cold whilst waiting , this should have been done automatically. We were given some free drinks and the bill was reduced down to rectify what had happened, but would have much preferred a good meal after driving 6 hours for the evening. Sadly I doubt we will go back there

We had lunch here on the 7/7/2024 and the food and the service was excellent and outstanding, second to none!!!! I wish I could rate the place more, but unfortunately I can’t. Definitely 20/10 and would recommend this place to anyone! Will definitely be back again!

My husband and I ate here last night and all I can say is WOW...my husbands ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and I had the best burger I have ever eaten, staff were lovely and very attentive (but not too much) will certainly be back.

The steak was spot on. Quite pricey but of high quality. The sides were nondescript. The chicken salt fries didn't really taste of anything particular and the seasonal veg and blue cheese dip was a bit bland. Wine choices by the glass was good. Recommend you book but the website is flunky so ring and check.

We’ve been coming here for a really long time and usually love Mini Grill and their entire menu. Cannot recommend the steaks enough, the burger is also one of the best I’ve tried! However, I would definitely say the restaurant has suffered recently. I LOVED their previous risotto which was mushroom and truffle, however the new risotto is god awful. Tonight, we also ordered onion rings which never came with our food, then when we ordered them they came out undercooked which was a real shame. Hoping it was just a bad night! But pleaseeee bring back the old risotto, I feel for the poor vegetarians.

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. It was my daughters birthday, and because of our travel she couldn't celebrate it with her friends. The staff made this dinner a party with great food and an exited staff!

When I went to visit Glasgow, walking around and trying to find a nice little place to eat a good meal I stumbled upon Mini Grill and was extremely satisfied with my meal. The burger here was one of the best burgers that I have ever had.
