We chanced upon the take away and ordered a set meal for two B. They said 10 minutes and they were right. The food was good, hot and quick, what more could you want. Will definitely order from them again. Was take away only at the moment, but that was fine. Thanks

I don’t understand the poor reviews on here. I’ve had takeaways and eaten in at Ming’s for years and the food is great. We had a takeaway tonight and it was as good as expected. It was ready for collection when they said it would be, the food was hot and tasty and portion sizes generous. One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area in my opinion.

We ordered our food, which was repeated to us for accuracy and when I collected and then arrived home, I realised that one dish was incorrect. I then called, they could not deliver, so I collected again. This time I showed them proof of the wrong dish by a photo in my phone, then repeated the correct one, being mussels in a black bean sauce. They re-confirmed that it was, which was not the case when I arrived home, as it was still a mushroom dish, as was the first time and despite me showing them the incorrect dish on my phone and referencing that we do not eat mushrooms.I asked for a refund and rather than paying it back on my card, they wanted my bank details etc.... After trying to read this out whilst my food was getting cold, unfortunately there was a problem in them understanding the numbers I was saying. In the end I gave up and said not to worry. They then kept calling my mobile even after I asked them not to. Very worrying....The previous restaurant when it was Happy China was used by us for 10 years without fault, unfortunately this was not the case tonight and the difficulty and persistent calls were not necessary.

Came across this restaurant and decided to try it out, we were not disapointed, Excellent food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced, will defiantly return here next time we are in the UK.

Surprised by the reviews here - 3rd takeaway from here today. Delivered in a reasonable timeframe (40 mins) which isn’t bad for a Friday night and the food was once again the best quality takeaway I’ve had locally. Worth a try if you live within the delivery area

Have used Mings several times so don’t even need a menu to order. Ordered a take away tonight and was told it was £36.70. The driver turned up and also told me it was £36.70. I gave him £37. Ate the food, the chicken with blackbean sauce had NO chicken in it which in itself was disappointing. The rest of the food was not good either, tasteless and rubbery. We then said we thought it was a lot of money for what we had so used the menu that we had just been given to add up our dishes. They came to £26.70. Rang to complain and they denied this. The driver spoke to me on the phone and said no you only gave me £27!! They would not do anything about it. They are just lying conmen especially the driver who outright lied. Will NEVER use these again. My advice is to avoid this restaurant especially the delivery take away as they are out to rip you off!!! They are trying to trade off the previous owner who would never have let this sort of thing happen. I only gave one star as there was no option for zero stars.

We decided to give Ming's a try for our first Chinese takeaway in a while. We ordered a home delivery which arrived hot and in the time given when ordering. We were really looking forward to it so when we opened the dishes we were extremely disappointed to find the chicken was slimy, watery, rubbery, translucent and like jelly. It was inedible and so had to be thrown away from all 3 dishes. The sweet and sour sauce was vinegary and too runny. The noodles were greasy. The only positive were the complimentary prawn crackers. It was a total waste of money. Never again!
