We’ve been having deliveries from here for years,after tonight never again. Noticeable over the last few weeks the food has gone downhill,but tonight was disgusting. The rice was so burnt it was almost black,it was so dry it was like sand. The curry was a lot darker than usual and again was burnt,the whole lot went in the bin! How they can even send this out is beyond me. I would have given zero stars if possible!

The Ming Kee is by far the best Chinese Take Away within 25 miles from Warwick! Good quality hot food, good portions, orders ready on time & good service.

Called in an order for delivery. Thankfully we agreed to pay cash on arrival. We were told that we would have our order within an hour. After 55 minutes (9.10pm) we call Ed the restaurant only to be told they closed at 9.30 & they cut the call. Called back to be informed order is on the way. 10.10pm still no order. Never again.

Very impressed with the quality of service and the food was fantastic. We have had a takeaway from here the last 2 weeks and food was excellent both times

I have been a customer of the Ming kee for a very long time. Over 30 years. I have never had a bad experience from them. The portions are very generous, especially the chicken and beef dishes. They cook the food just how I like it and the staff are always very lovely. Not sure why so many have left negative reviews.

The food was bland, greasy and uninspiring, they proudly boast “ serving you since 1972” however this takeaway has changed hands in recent years, it was superb with the original owners but is now a very poor substitute in comparison. For example we had the beef with peppers in black bean sauce, it was watery, tasteless and had very few beans, the mushrooms also appeared to have passed their sell by date , we also had the “ special” curry which appeared to lack special ingredients, about 10 peas, no mushrooms, no red cooked pork , 4 small prawns and no peppers . We won’t be going there again !

not impressed with my chicken kun poo chicken it's self was dry very little chicken in there mostly batter horrible only good thing was the sauce

Terrible service ever since the new owners have taken over they do not listen and they give us the wrong food this has happened four times and when we confront them they get all nasty about it and paying over the odds for the food that is cold half the time and we get told not to come back to the Ming kee

So a friend recommended this place so thought I'd give it ago, ordered a mixed grill, it was vile, small fatty bit of bacon, tiny steak which was all chewy fat, chips and about 8 peas all completely soaked in gravy that was like dish water. Don't see how that's a mixed grill to be honest and it came out way to quick, literally 2 minutes so not cooked fresh, very disappointed

Was hoping for a tasty Chinese but a little disappointed at what I received. At best could be described as mundane.

4/10 food, rice was hard and the chips were cold, extremely unhappy and would like a refund for the food.

Ordered food..1 hour to 1hr 30 we were told. Ok we thought,they must be busy. We phoned up after one hour 45 minutes to tell us the food was on the way. Anyway we phoned again after 2 hours and thirty minutes to be laughed at our complaint down the phone by the nice lady. When food eventually arrived it was horrendous..cold curry,watery rice and solid cold chips. We’ve been customers for years and it’s not the first time they’ve done this,their “service” has gone downhill and their attitude is disgusting. Never again will we return..zero stars never mind one!

£ 75 pound spent . Satisfaction received. 0000 . Lemon chicken. Imagine shallow fried flip flop. In a acidic corn flour water . Special fried rice . Picture week old boiled rice with unidentifiable bits of meat matter and fish flavoured flesh passing itself off as prawns . Chicken curry . Exactly that. But freshly made ...NOT!!! chipshop curry powder based sauce,,, smothering part defrosted chicken cubes . Still cold on inside ... My advice .... shop elsewhere . YUK .

Food was hot, service was quick. Rather expensive and the food wasn't tasty at all. Will stick to my regular takeaway from now on

We are regular customers at Ming Lee, and more often than not, order the same thing each time to be delivered. This has never been a problem since moving into our new build property in August '17...except for tonight! Inexplicably we were told that they could not deliver to us. The reason? Because they were 'too busy'. Too busy? At 5.15 in the evening? The place only opens at 5.00pm, so please explain, someone, how a takeaway that offers delivery is 'too busy' to deliver at that time? The answer? They weren't, they just needed an excuse not to come out to a new build area that the person on the phone was unfamiliar with. Pathetic!!! I for one shall not give them my custom again. That is no way to treat loyal customers!!

Bought a set meal for 2 which has got to be the worst food I have ever purchased. The Spare ribs were dried out. The chicken sweet and sour was like chipboard. The beef with green peppers was like beef in gravy granules. The other chicken dish was straight in the bin. Ok the prawn crackers were passable I did not know chinese could get this bad.

whilst i have been singing the praises of the neighbouring chip shop i also rate this chinese takeaway as 5 star , the food is amazing and made whilst you wait . the house curry ticks all the boxes and carries plenty of heat . This is the chinese for me . the only downside is that it often gets busy and you could be in for a long wait , but the quality of the food makes up for this.

He estado viniendo aquí por más de 10 años y es el mejor para llevar chino en Warwick! Hay una buena selección de comida y uno de mis favoritos es el curry, pato y alas de sal chili. Super delicioso. El personal es muy amable y nunca he quedado insatisfecha. Demasiada gente, pero dispuesto a esperar, ya que siempre es bueno. Altamente recomendado si quieres algo decente comida china.

This is my favorite place for a Chinese take away meal. The fried rice and curries are the best around . I'll only go to another Chinese take away if they're closed for their holidays .

Uno de los mejores de la zona.Me encantan sus grandes rollos de tortitas que son muy insalubres, pero estoy seguro de que sabe bien.Soy parcial a China curry, así es mi compita aquí, hacen un razonable curry, tiendo a palo para carne y champiñones.

There's not much that you can say about a Chinese takeaway. Service is quick an efficient, food is fine, your normal Chinese takeaway.

Extremely hard shredded beef, poor egg rice, old prawn crackers, average prawn dish. I saw the sign since 1972 and thought to still be in business must be good. Quite the contrary. Shop looks clean but kitchen smells bad.

Mi novio y yo estábamos visitando Warwick y decidimos coger comida para llevar china para comer en nuestro hotel. Teníamos un vistazo al menú y decidimos en un menú para 2 por 19 libras. Nos encanta la comida china y hemos ido a muchos restaurantes y comida para llevar por el país y este fue el peor que he tenido hasta ahora. La comida era sosa y poco apetecible, nos tiró la mitad de distancia. El pollo con champiñones fue la peor, era absolutamente horrorosa y de una textura extraña. Incluso el arranque de costillas era sub ahorrar su dinero y la altura no comprar nada allí.

Very quick service and the food is always nice. My favourite is beef fried rice and bbq sauce. Also tried crispy beef and bbq ribs and they are yum. Love this place!

Been going since 1972 the first in Warwick and they know their job. Only issue is parking as its in Takeaway city in St Johns

Un "chino tradicional que ha proporcionado para llevar siempre una excelente comida en numerosas visitas. Si estás buscando excelente sin adornos para llevar chino es muy recomendable.

Ordered sweet and sour pork balls and these weren't cooked properly. See photo! The chow mien did not contain any veg, just had teeny tiny prawns sprinkled on top and this was not as tasty as I'd of hoped. The beef with mushroom in black bean sauce was just ok. I just can't believe that this is the best Chinese Warwick has to offer..... I for one certainly won't back!

This is a very old Chinese Takeaway been there for many of times, food is good and price is OK.The waiting time is not long but best to phone up and order to save time.

my partner and I ordered some food from this take away. we had to wait 45 minutes for the food to be cooked and ready to collect. Reasonable variety on the menu, good portion size can't complain.

This is an average - good Chinese take-away. We use it regularly for convenience. Things like atmosphere etc are a bit inappropriate to judge - this is not a sit down restaurant. They are reliable and consistent.

Nice food spring roll was a bit bizarre. Way too big and stuffed to the max. But the Chinese was ok for a once in a while thing, so may go again.

We always go to Ming Kee because the food is good value and we like the singapore chow mein. They do delivery or collection and are normally very quick.

Service is fairly speedy, best to phone ahead if you are in a hurry. Food is fine for Chinese takeaway.

Slimy vegetarian spring rolls and MSG abounding. The fried rolls were full of grease and the filling so indeterminate that the filling was like thick paste. horrible.

food is ok, twice been here and twice have had wrong food… too late when you've got it home and you're hungry! most probably won't use again for that reason!

The one thing wrong with living in this part of Warwickshire is the relative dearth of good Chinese takeaways. Tried this one this week and was not impressed:greasy food, batter that had to be stripped from prawns to make them edible and chicken that exercised the jaws rather than the tastebuds. The waste bin ate better (or more) than we did

Had a takeaway on Saturday night. Tasted awful and all greasy .portions small, had a spring roll that looked like road kill. Might be a coincidence but I was up most of the night sick and all day Sunday . Would not use them again

Convenient to my hotel, I tried it for supper one evening. Nothing stands out about the food other that too much breading on the shrimp. They charge for everything, even chopsticks and plastic utensils. No soy or mustard available for you to take with your order.

Food was average-the chicken in the chow me in was burnt and fatty :( the one thing we did realise-the containers are somewhat smaller than elsewhere. The price is still the same as elsewhere!Chicken curry was ok. Reformed,bland "chicken"-nice chips and curry sauce. Wouldn't go back.

The service was quite quick and the food was good. Received a good size serving for the price plus free prawn crackers.

We stopped here to get takeaway while staying at the nearby Castle Limes Hotel. The service was prompt, the food was better than average. They were also open late on a Saturday night which was a big plus for us as there weren't many choices in town.

Great food, very friendly service and a over 30 yrs family history in Warwick...Long may it continue

We have been having take-aways from the Ming Kee for years.. We have tried the others in Warwick and none of them are a patch on the Ming Kee. Service is good, food is always delicious. What more can I say other than it's a really good, long established Chinese Take Away..

Ming Kee is my closest Chinese takeaway - and is open when some of the others are closed. For these reasons I've been there 3 times. Since the food has been disappointing each of these times, I won't be going back again. The food is very oily, their vegetables lack crunch; even their chicken satay was sloppy.
