Ming Kee Chinese Take Away in Warwick

I was hungry so I came to Ming kee. Next time I will stay hungry.

The last few meals we have had from this restaurant have been AMAZING! I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but the food has become so much better than it used to be. Most beautifully flavoured curry, the beef in the chow mien was perfect and the salt and pepper chips are by far the best I’ve ever had. We are officially converted from our other go to local Chinese. Highly recommend.

They had delicious roast duck fried rice with a generous amount of duck fillet.

We had the spare ribs .Disgusting ,completely inedible. "Binned"

The worst Chinese in the area, my regular was not open today so I thought I would try them and wish I didn’t . I don’t know how but they managed to burn egg fried rice and over fried chicken , veggie spring rolls that are black just disgusting

Unfortunately one of the worst Chinese takeaways we’ve had! Prawn crackers were soft and tasted stale. The chow mein had no flavour and was soggy and greasy. The salt and pepper chicken and chips had no flavour, the chicken was chewy and dry. The chips were overall okay and crunchy - just no flavour considering they were salt and pepper chips! ‘The Orient’ down the road is much fresher than this and the same price.

Best food been going here years!.

Veg spring rolls where extremely over done. No care or any inspection done at all. The Chicken chow mein was a low 2/10, no onions, and more chicken than noodles :( The chicken did not taste fresh either. 2 stars because they let me pay by card under their £10 rule. I wont be returning at all.

Decided to have a Chinese tonight and ordered from here. The noodles have changed and really weren’t nice and the curry was horrible. Will not be ordering from here again. Waste of money

Great selection of food. Tasty and fairly priced. Our go to Chinese take away when I'm too lazy to cook, and I grew up in a cantonese restaurant....hopefully my parents don't see this review haha.

Have used this from its first night many years ago very good

Used Ming Kee years ago, they got the order wrong and delivered it. I phoned them to say I have the wrong order and the women told me, I was a liar, and never did replace my order! That was in 2000, 22 years ago, never used them again. I'm not giving them the 1 star, that's for me not using them. How rude

I had some very bad Chinese food. Ordered chicken kebabs, and ended up throwig it in the bin. Very very dry and nasty taste.

Sorry say things not good Chicken curry 2 weeks ago when put on plate oil every were Last night egg fried fried curry sauce Rice hard & curry sauce not full to top container Shall not be retuning again no need for this

Food good. Delivery they say in an hour. Twice now it's been an hour and forty five minutes. Gave them a second chance time to find a new Chinese.

chips 100% rest of food horrid sweet and sour vegetables were sour and very bitter tasted stale boiled rice hard prawn crackers stale NEVER EVER going here again getting one star for chips

If I could give less than one star I would... Found the menu as advertised on google; worked out the cash ready for delivery.. to be told I’m a liar & the menu doesn’t exist & they want more money. The lady on the phone was one of the rudest people Iv ever been unfortunate enough to speak to, argued over the phone with me for over 10 minutes... for her to say it was my fault. Stay clear - absolutely horrendous service

This take away is a family run business that opened in the early 70s. That's all you need to know, Nobody stays in business that long if you're not damn good at what you do!!!

Great Chinese food for when you want a treat. The Beef curry is amazing and has just the right amount of spicyness for me. Great portions and staff who cope well when it gets busy which is a sign of a great place.

Never had a bad meal from here. All ways greeted in a friendly manner. Absolutely love the roast duck chow mein. Always nice and hot and excellent value for money.

Complete garbage. Soaked in grease, chicken dish was like soup, rice overcooked absolutely avoid

Clean, good food. Sanitiser and mask wearing by all staff. Friendly and not too long a wait

Waited 30 mins after the time advised to collect - no apology. Meal below average, even prawn crackers soft (paid for).

I've missed ming keep as I've been away and not another take away restaurant in this country comes close to cooking my king prawn special fried rice,its fresh and they don't hold back on the king prawns,so I got back to leamington spa after 3months away and for tea all I wanted was my special meal,I don't write reviews as i struggle with my writing but they deserve this great review,,,,Thank you Ming Kee

Through nobody's fault our order got lost. We phoned up and told them and they promptly delivered free of charge. We can't thank them enough for making our day.

Delicious meal to help celebrate a family birthday, delivered while in lockdown so providing a great service when a lot food establishments are understandably temporarily closed. Thanks for a lovely meal

Fast service, good food, reasonable price

I think it tells you in the front window , EST 1974 . They have obviously honed there craft in the following years . The curry is a rad hotter than your normal Chinese which I love and also tells me it's different from the normal . It's not the cheapest and parking in the area can be a bit of a nightmare but my special house curry with no prawns and extra mushrooms has never been anything but excellent . It's making my mouth water writing this review so what are you all waiting for give Ming Kee a go you won't be disappointed . 5 stars from me .

It depends who’s cooking ! I live just over the road and so this is very convenient but I travel 5 mins in the car to get a meal from two alternative take always . I think that says it all !!

Good food at decent prices. Been here for years

This Chinese has been in the area for decades. It doesn't look much from outside but the food s pretty good. By far the best thing on the menu is their pancake rolls. They are the size of a small dog, full of filling (no dog I assure you) and have a spicy pepper taste. I usually order two, one to go with my meal and the other to have cold for breakfast, yum yum in my tum.

Good local Chinese takeaway. The food is very nice. Place is easy to find with car park outside the shop.

The food is Ming-Kee. There isn't a Ming-Kee mouse. And also don't drink too much otherwise you'll need a Ming-Kee.

Not impressed with this place. Food was tepid, and tasted reheated. Most of the meat was fatty and chewy, and my chow mein had a strange mushroom sauce on it when I asked for it dry. Others that had food on the same order were equally disappointed. Would not use again!
