Milton public house in Rotherham

Ordered a Sunday dinner take away for my Nephew and I and I just would like to say thank you so much for such fabulous food.It was hot, plenty of meat and all the dinner was absolutely perfect.The gravy was exeptional!!Thank you very much Sue for all your kind effort. Our first visit to the Milton arms in greasbrough for food, sue the landlady was lovely from start to finish, the service was homely, friendly and the food was perfect, proper home made chips with lasagne. It wasn’t too busy just right. The menu was small but full of the perfect pub grub we were spoilt for choice, we were stuffed but couldn’t resist the old school desert menu from treacle sponge and custard to apple pie.Our next visit will be to try sues Sunday dinners, can’t wait.

Recently went there one evening for a meal with friends. Having eaten there before have been much impressed by the quality of food and the friendly service and this was no different.Food was cooked to perfection and most enjoyable. I would not hesitate to eat there again. Top marks.

Good old fashioned pub fantastic home made pie real chips fresh fish nice staff good selection of food well priced

A really warm welcome, called in for lunch, good selection on menu & specials board on offer, hubby had mixed grill, homemade chips, I had steak pie, chips & veg with a delicious gravy, good portions & well presented would certainly recommend, excellent value.

Called in here after a walk around Greasborough Dams. Lovely old style public house with a warm & friendly welcome. Excellent home cooked food!

We have been in several times and always had an excellent meal, and today was no exception. A warm welcome and great value for money.

Called about 1.30 on a Friday to find no-one else in but landlady made us feel welcome and assured us that meals were still being served. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive and it was delicious. Festive music was playing and despite there being only three of us there was a good atmosphere.

Traditional pub with nice decor and friendly staff. We had the fish and chips for two at £16.The fish was delicous and the home made chips were great. With tea bread and butter good value

My dad booked us in here for Mother’s Day around two weeks ago for 18 people. We were asked to preorder our food and also asked if we could arrive half an hour earlier than we had booked as they were expecting a busy day and their staff would have been in the kitchen all day. The land lady said that the meals would be ready as soon as we arrived and asked if that was ok, which it was. When we arrived we were ordered to go straight to the bar and order ( and pay) for our meals which we found odd as we had already sorted this. She also mentioned there were no lamb, which was disappointing but what could we do? The landlady was quite obviously stressed and as a result was extremely rude. The food was terrible, over cooked and bad quality. One of the children’s dinner came out with just three pieces of scampi and a plate of peas. Hugely disappointed, not that the landlady cared. Would advise anyone thinking of going to stay clear unless they like eating with Miss trunchbull.

Much time and planning went it to this booking. We had to pre-order as we were a party of 20. Upon arrival we were informed we would have to go to the bar and each place our orders, where we were then told there was ‘No lamb’ even though several people in our party had pre-ordered this meal. No apology, no prior phone call to warn us our pre orders couldn’t be for-filled. I found the lady who appeared to be in charge, very rude. Children’s meals of sausage, chips & beans contained 1 small sausage each Wouldn’t return

This is a lovely little pub we didn't have a meal just drinks good beer plenty of tables great bar very friendly staff very clean well run 🍷🍸

Our first time at the Milton with friends , glad we Did! Sue made us so welcome it was as though we were regular customers. Lovely!. The meals were good and plenty on the plate!. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be going back in the very near future!. Even the two painters who were decorating one of the other rooms were a good laugh !. Recommend the Milton Arms any time.

Traditional boozer serving traditional food, including homemade chips, though they'd run out when we were there. Prices are good. Beer selection included one real ale.

Recientemente visité el Milton por la primera vez para mi cumpleaños de tíos y tengo que decir que me sorprendió gratamente. Había 14 de nosotros y el personal fue muy amable y nos acomodó muy rápidamente las bebidas eran un buen precio. Pedí un pollo al curry con patatas fritas y fue precioso, en especial ya que era casera incluyendo las patatas fritas y por una fiver fue una ganga. Todo el mundo uno nosotros disfrutamos de nuestra comida, incluyendo mi primo que es un chef de cabeza. La mayoría de nosotros tenía incluso los postres que era genial. Se les había acabado de helado pero ofrecieron una alternativa que nos vino muy bien. Todos nos fuimos con una sonrisa en nuestras caras y un completo del vientre. Recomendaría encarecidamente visitar el Milton a cualquiera que incluso para familias y yo sin duda hacer otra visita :)

ganó un vale de comida para dos en un sorteo para este lugar, así que fuimos para una comida familiar. La señora positiva detrás del bar era muy servicial, no habíamos reservado y que estaba bastante concurrida pero hizo un espacio para nosotros, ella era muy agradable. Pedimos unas bebidas en el bar y se quedó allí mientras yo era una vieja señora proceden de la cocina y me preguntó si la mesa había pedido, por supuesto que no habíamos ella shot en la parte trasera de la cocina en unos 2 minutos que acercó a mí y me dijo bastante repentinamente sabes que tener? Yo aún tenía mi capa en en este ni siquiera estaba sentado. Ella shot de nuevo, así que pedimos en el bar. Tuve una ensalada de jamón, muy básica por 6.50 libras pero el jamón era muy agradable. Mi marido tenía el curry de pollo dijo que estaba bien. Mis dos hijos tenían la opción de tarta, uno era carne y patatas y el otro era Misa del Gallo y cebolla. Mi hija dijo que sin cebolla en su tarta y Misa del Gallo fue muy seca como si hubiese sido recalentado varias veces, mi hijo dijo que el relleno de pastel para él estaba bien, pero en ambos tartas la pastelería era grueso y duro demasiado gruesas no estaba cocinada adecuadamente, cuando mi hijo cortados en la pastelería, pensamos que el cuchillo iba a fotografiar. Las patatas fritas eran caseras y donde realmente agradable eran sólo salvar la gracia de la comida.Las dos comidas que pagamos por vino a £14,75 un poco caro en lo que se refiere a la calidad. Me pareció que habíamos ido a un pub diferente cuando leí las críticas que tenía que ver en el mapa. Nos dio una calificación de dos debido a un miembro del personal que trabaja el bar que era muy agradable

From entering to leaving nothing is too much trouble at all for the staff !! Food is homed made and fresh and absolutely delicious !! Kids are made welcome too , highly recomended !! 👍

solíamos ir con regularidad por el abuelo de mi esposa, pero no había sido por un tiempo. La comida era tan excelente como siempre. Muy buenas opciones en el menú - incluso las cosas para mi mujer, que tiene alergia a la leche y la soja (comidas que no eran simplemente bistec o sobresaliente! ).
