Ordered a jacket spud with cheese and beans a few days ago. Looked delicious but unfortunately the potato was not cooked that morning so it tasted old and funny so I was unable to eat it. Such a shame as fillings were ample. I May visit this shop again next time I am in York and give it another try but a different dish.

A decent little local shop for Sarnies, salads jacket spuds etc. been going here for years on and off, thought it deserved a review as it always hits the spot for nice, easy and quick comfort food. Just demolished their chilli and cheese with coleslaw jacket potato, brilliant for the very hungry!! 👍🏼

Just had Full English breakfast tray from Millfield Munchies. EXCELLENT.!. All freshly cooked, even runny egg.! Tasty good quality ingredients & lots of it. Everything including toast. We'll packaged for delivery & Hot.! Will be treating myself again during Lock in times. Thanks Millfield Munchies. Peter

Prices have gone up massively this year and the quality of the food has gone down, too. They're fast, but their website is often broken or bugged, and it's just not worth the costs anymore. I felt sympathetic seeing the article about Domino's coming to Haxby and thought I would support local business instead - but honestly maybe it needs a little competition. It feels like the prices and the quality are only sustainable because it's never had to compete in the area, but it really isn't worth the price anymore.

10 College StreetWe called in on the day of the Yorkshire Marathon and although it was busy we got a seat and ordered. We got a coffee for my wife and a Victoria 99 cupcake for my 6 year old daughter. She really enjoyed it and my wife said the coffee was lovely too. The staff were very welcoming and polite but all in all really nice and we will definitely be back.
