Visited with family as a meeting point between us. Welcomed by friendly staff and seated straight away in the main area. Service was great and the food was even better. Freshly baked pizzas and brunch menu was available during lunch. I opted for Hash and Black with the rest of the group choosing pizzas. An absolutely spot on experience and much better than a motorway service meet up.

Took my wife and 2 kids for a pizza after a walk around the reservoir. We had visited for a pizza 2 years ago and it was fantastic so the kids were really looking forward to it. We ordered two pizzas between us as previously they were huge. The service was miserable, just seemed to be some young girls working that day who looked as though they would rather be somewhere else, everything seemed too much trouble. The pizzas arrived and they were the most pathetic excuse for a pizza I had ever seen. They were tiny, dried up and the "pepperoni" contained exactly 4 thin tiny pieces of pepperoni. I called over the waitress and complained. She took it away and then immediately brought it back and said "there's no dough left, you can eat it or not it's up to you". I'm not joking, these pizzas were worse than the cheapest nastiest thing you could get from the freezer in Tescos, pic attached. The kids ate it because they were hungry. Never going again, they need to get their act together, just embarrassing that you would serve a family that rubbish. It used to be really good so I've no idea what has happened,

This was our first visit to the tea room, and it certainly will not be our last. Realising we were not familiar with the menu a very pleasant waiter gave us his suggestions. My husband had already spotted someone eating what looked like poached eggs on black pudding.... We both ate what was recommended, and it was delicious. My husband had the poached eggs on black pudding, and I had the Turkish eggs. The cake selection looked very tempting so we bought some to eat later. There is a sign up that says they do not cater for coeliacs. I questioned this as my daughter is coeliac. Apparently it is because all the bread is made on the premises and it is not gluten free. They are happy to do dishes without the bread. The banana cake was superb.

Planning a wedding so got Millers to cater for the engagement party. Picked them as have been to the Tea Room and loved it. Using the flour from Worsborough Mill gave it the added Barnsley touch. Adam replied to emails and texts promptly. Clear structure for fees. Arrived at venue and set up, no drama, just left him to it. Joined by his assistant Molly who was fab. Steady flow of delicious pizzas throughout the night, good range including vegan option, very happy friends and family. Booked for wedding 😁.

Called at Miller’s Tea room after a walk in horrible December weather. A special latte and a delicious salted caramel muffin certainly made up for the bleak conditions. Well worth a visit!

I was really disappointed with the mushrooms on toast. No mention was made on board that mushrooms would come smothered in eyewatering mustard and balsamic glaze. Bizarrely, dish came with two pats of butter. You would have had to remove piles of mushrooms and sauce from toast to spread butter. Some mushrooms were old, tough texture. Friend's jacket potato had black bits in. Would not return or recommend.

A dozen of us visited Millers Tea Room yesterday for our half way cafe stop, The food service and prices were spot on. It was nice to be made welcome and our cycling club from Doncaster, will certainly be visiting again. Thanks P.S Heads up for other cycling clubs, message the tea rooms via Face Book prior to visiting for larger groups so they can be ready for you.

We went to the Millers gin night yesterday and it was one of the best experiences. The staff were friendly and attentive from us walking through the door to leaving again. They were knowledgeable about all the gins, and accommodated everyone. The food that accompanied the drinks was delicious, such a high standard. We had an amazing evening and would definitely book on again!

Had food and drinks here and am truly shocked at the good reviews. Flat white was weak and disappointing, ‘posh’ fish finger sandwich was 3 cheap fish fingers with a bit of salad underneath in a bun and the rest of the food and drinks were average or below. In addition to this it took an age for the food to come out. Left feeling disappointed and robbed.

Millers tea room opened its doors for a night of mediumship. The evening (7.00-9.00) cost £20 per person and included a drink and a slice of cake. Upon arrival I was greeted by lovely staff who showed me to our table. Whilst I was awaiting the arrival of my two sisters, I ordered a glass of white wine, a glass of red wine and a tonic water. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wine (mine was the white - Sauvignon blanc) and the price- £7 something for all 3 drinks!!The medium was a lovey lady who made us all relaxed with her great sense of humour. As for the messages ‘from the other side’, they felt a bit hit and miss! There was a good range of cake to choose from and we were able to have a glass of wine instead of a hot drink as we had already purchased wine previously. I chose proseco and raspberry which was gorgeous, one of my sisters chose limoncello which was also gorgeous and my other sister chose chocolate and pretzel - which was very dry.Overall we had a lovely evening.

What a lovely place to sit in the summer . A nice walk from the car park. Inside very small. Can hear everyones conversation . My son had a tuna mayo sandwich hardly any mayo, he didn't enjoy it. I had a panini very nice. Cold drinks without being offered a glass. Quite expensive. Cakes looked nice although we didn't have one . Would go again in nice weather and sit outside.

8 of us went to the Gin Night last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and I’d struggle to pick a favourite from the fresh bread and Camembert, chicken skewers, belly pork, or Asian beef. The home made cinnamon biscuits were a nice touch too. All the food was thoughtfully paired with gin and mixers to compliment it and I couldn’t fault a thing. Lots of fun. A brilliant night. Will definitely be attending the next one.

We called in today after a walk round the reservoir. What a welcoming little cafe! I had chilli and a jacket potato and my other half had a fish finger sandwich. Very very tasty and served with a smile. Two pots of tea and gluten free cake to finish. Very reasonably priced as well. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area again.

A friend and myself called in this morning for coffee/tea and cake. Hot drinks were good, homemade cake selection was lush. My friend had a scone (a choice of two different ones) and I had apple cake with salted caramel icing. Both were very nice. Price was about right. Clean and tidy cafe. Inside is small but plenty of outside seating. It was cold today so perhaps a few blankets and cushions would make the outside a bit more usable during the colder days

Me and then pooches visit regularly when stopping at a friend's. There's a great walk round the reservoir for the dogs and then there's the compulsory coffee and cake stop. We'll behaved dogs allowed inside. All food cooked is lovely, plenty of choice, fresh and cooked to order. But the highlight is the again cooked by proprietor. Lots of choice and gorgeous. The place has been under new ownership for about a year and we called with our dog for a sausage sandwich, toasted teacake, americano and earl grey tea. The sausage sandwich was bland and surprisingly so considering its price. You will notice that all the tables seem not to have been cleaned, we could see the surfaces were sticky. cannot understand why staff stand around when they should be cleaning tables etc.

Buena ubicación y probablemente un café muy bonito, pero como visitantes ciclista que había pedalled 21 millas para llegar allí, el menú no era estupenda. Desayuno inglés completo no disponible y no sustancial las comidas principales. Bocadillos eran caros.

We decided to go to Elsecar heritage centre on Sunday for a walk and a wander. It was crazy busy, and thought we would walk around the village. We dropped in on The Crown Inn, and was pleased to see such a nice cozy local pub still operating and serving good food. Next time we will pop in for a bite to eat. Well stocked beers and 3 pumps dedicated to guest beers. V.happy. Service was lovely and healthy banter and discussions with the locals. Keep up the great work.
