It was my partners birthday so we went for the lunch deal. It was well worth it and because I told them it was his birthday on my booking they said happy birthday to him when we arrived then wrote happy birthday in chocolate sauce on his dessert plate. It was lovely. Thank you to the staff for that. Definitely recommend this place.

Had a lovely meal with my girlfriend, steak was 100/10 and to top it off we served by Ryan, a true gent and a credit to the company, thanks to Ryan, when we’re in the area we will be definitely be coming back!!

The restaurant was located within a beautiful building and was within walking distance of our stay. Service was great and we had a very friendly/bubbly waiter named Connor. The table was for 6 people and 4 different nationalities, service was quick and the food was cooked to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meals (all steaks). I am a regular to Miller and Carter (Scotland) so I knew that everyone would enjoy the food & drinks. The Greek national was shocked by the "wedge" salad and was very unsure on what it was supposed to be, however, everyone else enjoyed the quirkiness of the bowl of lettuce. I would recommend Miller and Carter to anyone who enjoys a good steak.

Food was good. Ordered the butchers block to share for 2 - the bone marrow was tasty. The service from Sara-Jane was very attentive and she always had a smile on her face. Very enjoyable experience overall.

I've been several times and the food has always been amazing, however yesterdays food wasn't brilliant, the ribs we're very fatty. The change in the lunch time menu, Is very limited for GF

Great - Good knowledge of menu from waitress. Improve - be given the lunch menu and not have to ask for it, nobody in the restaurant was given the lunch menu even though it was available until 3pm.

Very good steakhouse. Quality of the food is top at correct prices. Service very friendly and competent. Any time.

Had a lovely birthday dinner. At the start was a bit rocky as we had to wait a while for our booked table. But once we got seated it all went so much better. Our waitress Tina was amazing she went above a beyond. If it wasn’t for her we would have left 5*. Thank you again Tina you are a credit to M&C x

Great meal, good service and a busy vibrant atmosphere. The only down side was that with a tip which the staff deserved, it was £120 for two courses with a bottle of red and coffee, a little overpriced for me anyway, you pays your money and takes your choice

Daytime so, although busy, not an awful lot of atmosphere. The place is quite smart. The steak was astonishingly good. Even though M n C are a steak chain, the word chain puts you off. Don't let it. A simply superb steak cooked perfectly.

Everything was good and tasty. Sara Jane is so lovely and welcoming as well. She helped with what to eat and it was a great pick. 10/10 service from Sara. Looking forward to dining in again

Great Food and Drinks, love the atmosphere, definitely a must visit for a chill and calm vibe. Customer service is amazing. If you do go make sure to ask for Sara-Jane she makes the best cocktails

First time eating at this restaurant certainly won't be the last . Food was perfect . Our waitress Victoria was very helpful knowledgeable and a genuinely nice young lady. Looking forward to our next visit.

We attended today for our joint birthday AND anniversary. Tina looked after us and the service couldn't have been better. First time visit and on a cute little date! Food was amazing and that’s all thanks to the recommendations from our fantastic waiter William! He helped me pick the best items to compliment each dish and helped me go out my comfort zone but it was worth the risk. Tables a little close together downstairs, for when you’re trying to have a date atmosphere. Only reason for 4 stars in that area!! Every thing else 5+ Thank you so much William for enhancing our experiance!!

Came here for an anniversary meal and Tina was an absolute star. The service from the moment we sat down until we left was superb, she was so attentive and chatty she really made our night! We can’t fault the food at all. Always love M&C food. Before even setting foot in the restaurant I felt as though you wanted us out. I received two sms messages the day of our reservation. One reminding that the table could not be held for any longer than the booking time. The second message reminding that we only had 90 minutes from our start time. It made me feel you wanted us in and out and weren’t interested in our dining experience. You just wanted us in to spend our money and then to get out so you could use the table again. The service wasn’t great. However, it was not the fault of our waiter. We were seated at the first table as you walk into the restaurant. It felt like we were sat at the end of a cat walk. People coming past all the time. I understand someone has to sit there but it wasn’t great. We actually asked to move to the side. Our waiter allowed us too but the lights were that bright my wife complained of a migraine. I’m not one to normally write reviews but felt I had to comment on this experience. We then moved back to the first table. No issues by the staff which was nice. We ordered our drinks and the place filled up. We then tried to order food but as our waiter had another 8-10 tables it took a while to get his attention. Not his fault. I feel that he just had too many tables to give great service too. So we ended up getting poor to average service. We then asked for some table water but the waiter kept getting shouted to other tables so had to ask another two times before actually receiving any. The food was amazing as it always is but it really wasn’t a very nice experience. My wife and I don’t often get out for a meal but it really will put me off visiting again. Can not fault the food and the waiters attempt to look after us. I actually felt sorry for him. He never stopped the whole time we were there.

The food is good but I wouldn't say it was exceptional especially for the price. What really let us down was the drinks - cocktails were bland and watered down, yet still pricey. Our server was lovely, but sadly service was extremely slow; it took 40 minutes to order, which normally would be okay but we also received a text from the restaurant asking us to vacate our table after 90 minutes on the day of the booking... Felt a bit strange to insist we leave before we arrived despite the slow service.

Had delicious steak as usual! Staff are lovely and one of the waiting staff made us a lovely surprise. Decor is a bit dated, could be updated but ultimately food is great.

Lovely afternoon, great food, bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and the staff made up for it, especially Connor. He was great, gave advice on all aspects on the cooking of the food and he was spot on, give him a raise 😀. Would go again for a special occasion.

I came a couple of weeks ago, it being my first time in Manchester and got served by the lovely Alix! She gave me some amazing advice about the different cut of steaks etc. I’m definitely coming back again soon!
