Miller & Carter in Manchester

we came here over the weekend and what we got was nothing short than a very bad ramseys nightmare. service slower than a bus with 1 wheel, more dirt than a mine and very rude staff. not worth the money or food if youre eating in dirt and having rude waiters

Dean, our waiter looked after us from start to finish, he’s very professional and very friendly, an absolute star. The food was tasty. delicious.

We got the Sunday sharing board. It was absolutely amazing!! We were both so full after. Hannah was great, fantastic customer service and gave the perfect amount of attention to each table and had so much information to help with food choices.

Lovely Sunday dinner was had by the two of us recently. The staff who looked after us were fantastic and made the experience more enjoyable

Great service by Noura - helpful and friendly. Foood was epic as always ! Am GF loads of options. Desert was delicious had sticky toffee pudding

Amazing restaurant the atmosphere is great, we had a drink in the bar area beforehand and a great selection, food was amazing and came out quick, Jannah was lovely and went above and beyond with us whenever we needed her.

Awesome service, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. We had just the mains with a bottle of wine on our night out and left satisfied. Special thanks to our server Hannah, she was lovely.

Booked a reservation at 8:15 pm (reached at 8pm) only to get seated at 9pm. Appetisers were served at 9:10pm and mains eventually at 9:45pm. No doubt the front desk was really apologetic for the wait, Overall was it really worth the wait? No. Aside from appetiser which is great, the award winning ribeye was really tough for a medium steak…

My fiancé and I had such a lovely time for our 5th year anniversary. Our waiter Harry was excellent in his customer service which contributed to our nice time. It wasn’t the first time coming here and it definitely won’t be the last.

Every meal I have had in recent memory, and all meals I will have before my memory of this meal starts to fade, had suffered due to being compared to the experience. I came looking for a steak done skillfully and a pleasant atmosphere and was provided with both to an impeccable standard. My server, Hannah, was very attentive and clearly knew about the food I ordered. I came out today to treat myself and I am thoroughly happy I chose to do so at Miller & Carter, my only issue is that I know I will be struggle to replicate the onion loaf served with my meal here when I return home.

You'd imagine all miller and carter's were more or less the same... But this one was a cut above! Perfectly cooked food, prompt service. Special mention to Jannah (not Hannah) for amazing service, made it a 10/10 experience. Would definitely come back

We dined here for Mother’s Day and Jannah has been very attentive despite it’s a busy day at the restaurant! She remembered each persons order right and would give recommendations. She has been very welcoming since the start! Food wise: we ordered rump and ribeye steaks. Each steak came with a sauce, wedge of lettuce and a side plus a batter-fried onion (which is pretty good). We also ordered the cheese baked mushroom with bread as a side. Overall we are very happy with the food and service.

Nice night out and setting, Emma looked after us very well. Tasty steaks and sides.

We all had steaks, they where done to perfection. It's not the cheapest of places, but worth it.

Unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing. To start, there was no sparkling water available, which was unexpected. The appetizer we originally wanted wasn’t available, and the main steak we ordered was not only the wrong one, but it was also misrepresented. We ordered from the Sunday set menu expecting the larger cut, but what we received was an 8oz steak—confirmed by the invoice at the end. It was small, cooked normally, and yet we were led to believe it was the larger size. Honestly, I felt cheated for no reason at all. As for the dessert, it arrived missing key components we were told it included. The only highlights were the salad, which was genuinely excellent, and the onion garnish served with the steak. Still, these small positives don’t make up for what felt like a careless and misleading dining experience.
