A family friendly popular restaurant. The gentleman who greeted/seated us was friendly, welcoming and very obliging. Our waitress Adele was very helpful and efficient. Lovely setting with lots of seating. We sat in the Quieter seating available at the front section which made a nice change. good bar area to have a drink before your meal. Steak cooked to perfection. Very clean and presentable restaurant with nice decor. The steak Butchers block (sharing for 2) was amazing. Service was excellent.

We sat in the garden on this beautiful sunny day. We were out there alone. Service was fab. Food was fab! Delicious… only slight criticism is my lettuce wedge was a little watery but proves you washed it. Thank you for a lovely afternoon! :)

Myself and my friend here on Saturday and purchased off the fixed price menu. The food was lovely, though the chips were very salty. Out waitress Vicki Marie was amazing. Super attentive really friendly and polite. Would recommend.

Great food as always. Only suggestion that if someone is asking for med stake but receives well and call for service to change this it shouldn’t be even attempted to challenge by the server. I get that you try to minimise loss but who on earth eat well done?!

Fabulous steak, fabulous serving, fantastic place. Make sure you stick with the recommendations of the steak master. Don’t go blatantly with your previous medium rare experiences.

Why anyone feels the need to escape without paying is beyond me, especially when you get served by someone like Olivia! An impromtu visit instead of cooking when we got home, but sometimes you dont know why you did - not tonight! Lovely food and drink coupled with great service made this a great night. The GB was just right and the steaks with chunky chips were as you would want. The deal for a cocktail and steak just made it even more appealing. Thanks so much Olivia and team M&C

Great food and very attentive and friendly waiting staff

We had a lovely meal for my birthday. The steak was cooked to perfection and my partner had the seabass which was equally as nice we were served by a lovely waitress called Adele who couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely go again.

My partner, his parents, and myself went out for dinner. The environment and atmosphere was amazing! The food was even better! The bartender Patrick had phenomenal service. We settled for quite sometime as we just felt at home. When my partner went to pay there was an issue with the discount. The manager Emma was so amazing and patient with us and it. We were able to get through it and it worked. Both Emma’s and Patrick’s patience and customer service makes us come back! Thank you!

Buttermilk chicken burger not great

I went here last Saturday 530 wasn’t busy was greeted by a lovely lady on reception, we was seated in the top section we was the only ones in section our waiter was Ian who was amazing, we ordered drinks came right away, starters was ok cuddles of been better, but dry, our mains we waited about 20 minutes for as I said above wasn’t heavily busy at all. When our food arrived my parters chips were cold and steak was not cooked as required it was over cooked and chewy! To have waited 20 minutes we would respect the food to spot on. Ian our waiter was amazing and very apologetic even asked to replace.. but why would we want to send his meal back while I eat and he wait another 29 minutes.. very disappointed

Adele, our server was great, didn't hurry us or ignore us and provided helpful advice. As usual an excellent meal in a lovely clean resturant.

We had a fantastic time catching up, and the food and service was wonderful . All in all a great night .

Came here on Saturday chicken breast was horrible when my pudding come out they brought me off milk which you could clearly see by looking at it it was off I asked for it to be swapped to again being brought out more off milk so again had to take up the bar this was taking so long eventually they made my drink up with ok milk this isn't good how can u give people milk that is off especially when I'm pregnant since being here I've had a bad tummy

Miller and Carter Solihull is our go to place everytime for steaks. We never eat steaks anywhere else. Food and service is always first class!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Fixed Price Lunch is a really good offer, 3 courses each, a drink each £48.00. The steak sandwich was absolutely amazing, the steak was so tender and delicious with the beef dripping sauce!

Visited M & C @ Tamworth Lane on Friday 5th July at 1.30. We selected off the pre-set menu and Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great value, service- Would definitely recommend.

We had the lunchtime special. Everything was good but my 3 star review relates purely to my Fillet Steak, which incurred a £6 supplement and was so small I had to laugh when it arrived! My colleague had the Pork Tornado which, as you can see from the photos, completely dwarfed my steak (BTW, that’s my steak, hidden beneath the 10p size blob of butter.

Visited today ( 25/6/24) for lunch with friend. We chose this M&C solihull because of its location and the food is always perfect . Had some not so good meals at sutton coldfield and resorts world branch. Today we were served by donna , what a lovely cheerful lady ! Very professional, attentive and chatty. Food came out super quick between courses. We had 3 courses off the lunch menu - great price! Thank you donna

We came for our Anniversary, unfortunately the atmosphere was not what we expected. The meal was served and when we started to eat I was not at all happy . The sauce was so salty that I refused to eat it . The chips where salty and had a lot of rock salt . The steak was fine to start and became tough and chewy in the middle . Server asked why I was not eating , I informed him regards the issue with salty sauce and also salty chips . He said he would inform the Chef . The toilet issue I had raised had put me off eating there . The Toilets where not what you expect and I had to notify them far someone had been very ill in there . It put me off my meal. I have complained but offered a drink on return . Thank you but I would not recommend. Our evening was ruined and we where home by 9pm and table was 8pm. Very unhappy and not what you expect.

A special mention to Adele! She made our visit today truly special and the service was first class! We look forward to coming again very soon!

Just had a lovely lunch at Miller and Carter Dickens Heath. We were served by Shipon whose service was 1st class. I had the chicken burger and my wife had the salmon . Both dishes delicious 😋. Will be visiting again very soon with the kids. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

We went here for a late lunch or early dinner, on Saturday 25th May. We were greeted by Ian, who was soo polite, professional and super personable. He was soo attentive, helpful and when above and beyond, to make sure we were all happy and catered for. He not only did his job as a waiter, he was more of a host. He took time out to speak with us, tell us more about himself when we asked and in all honesty, Ian (as well as the delicious food of course) would be our main reasons for returning here, very soon.

Food and drink was delicious. Our waiter Shipon was very attentive, friendly and made sure my dietary requirements were taken care of. I use a walking stick and Shipon checked that our table was going to be suitable for me, a very nice touch.

I like this restaurant a lot, friendly staff and most important lovely food. It's one of my fav places to eat steak in the Solihull area. The times we have been our favourite waiter is Shpon. He really helps it feel like ever vist is a special occasion.

A lovely venue for our family of five, we celebrated our son's birthday. A good choice for our vegetarian daughter who opted for the vegetarian burger. Friendly staff, food served promptly ,which was great. We will definitely go there again.
