Just had a wonderful birthday meal for my mother in law today. I requested a little birthday message on the plate and they made it look very special for her. The food all tasted delicious and was well presented. Craig’s customer service and attention to detail made our dining experience very pleasurable. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back again. Thank you for the lovely atmosphere.

We went to Miller & Carter on Saturday and were looked after by Adele. Adele was so attentive and she looked after us so well. She really knew her stuff when it came to the new menu too. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and thank you again Adele.

Burning and carter's; ordered £100 worth of food,turns up burnt black rubbish; not edible so I called them to ask how they saw it fit to send that out; go on Uber, I was told get a refund. So you get no dinner, your money back, they don't even sound surprised; your telling them it's rubbish they don't really care, madness really. The order cost more than what they get paid for the whole shift to cook it and the food ends up in the bin. The person is getting paid to cook it, but can't cook so sends it out burnt and then get told to throw it in the bin and get a refund, where is the sense in this. Money and food down the drain.

Everybody at Miller and Carter Solihull are amazing. They really look after you. And the food was so good.

Visited for the first time this evening with my partner, 22/2/25 and was served by Sophie T! Absolutely amazing service! She went above and beyond to give us the best experience! Very attentive! She is a credit to your team! Food was amazing too! So thank you to your chef who was working too! We will visit again.

Poor quality, poor service. I had previously given this place a 5 star review, however this occasion was poor. Steak should be medium but was brown throughout and burnt on the edge, chips were lukewarm. Had to send the steak back. Service was atrocious, a woman nearby was splashing out with tips and the staff were around her table constantly and ignored everyone else. They comped our drinks which was at least something

Valentine's evening, I had the pleasure of dining at Miller and Carter Solihull, and it was nothing short of a fantastic evening. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and elegant decor that set the perfect tone for the evening. The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcomed and well-cared-for throughout the night. We started with the XO King Prawn, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It was the perfect balance of textures, leaving us excited for what was to come. For the main course, I opted for the Pan Lamb dish, and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a delightful symphony of taste, showcasing the chef’s remarkable skill and creativity. My dining companion chose the Sirloin steak, which was equally impressive and beautifully plated. To finish off the evening, we shared the mango pavlova, which was both decadent and delicately balanced—not overly sweet, just the right ending to a memorable meal. The wine selection was also noteworthy, with a range of choices that complemented the dishes perfectly. Overall, the evening was exceptional. The attention to detail, superb food, and impeccable service made for an unforgettable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special night out. We were seated by the cash register, the place the stuff used to talk shit about the customers, moan about other stuff and be told off by their manager. The Camembert mash was cold and the cheese had started to go hard & The steak wasn’t hot either.

Me and my partner came for a lovely meal. We were served by the lovely Harri. Food was 10/10, efficient and didn’t have to wait that long even though it was busy and we ordered the sharing board. Harri’s service and his attentiveness was second to none. He really deserves all the praise. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends, and we will be visiting again:)

Food was good but our experience was a little hampered at the start. We needed a table for 2 in an early weekday evening. Restaurant was busy but free tables in each section. We were walked to the extents of the restaurant only for the hostess to leave us standing in the middle of the room for about 10mins and disappeared which was odd. Food was great quality, arrived quickly and service was really great.

I was pleasantly surprised, I'd heard mixed reviews. Service was spot on and the steaks were perfect. Only one small complaint, don't sit by the window, it's very draughty and cold.

Firstly, the food is excellent, well-presented, cooked beautifully and is very tasty. The service is also first class with no long delays when you would dearly like a waitress or waiter to appear. One of our party had an alergy, and the care and attention from the serving staff was spot on, ensuring personal attention throughout the meal, indeed, all the staff were friendly and suportive. The fixtures and decoration are welcoming and relaxing, and the chairs are comfortable, something many restaurants fail to provide.

Let’s start with Craig our server - what a total star and he’s a credit to your brand. The vegan options were limited but I have to say I enjoyed every mouthful, for vegan food I was very impressed. Full of flavour every one else had fish or meat ! As a party of 7.. all plates were finished and there were no moans !! About the food not a single moan, I can’t stress how rare this is for this group

The wife and myself popped in to miller and cater for a lunch time meal which was absolutely delicious, the steaks were cooked to perfection. We had Donna who waited our table this lady was fantastic friendly and attentive . We will be returning very soon. Thanks very much for a fantastic meal.

We was regular customers, unfortunately we won't be coming back here ever again as we had issues with our steaks, we tried to resolve our issues with so called Area management John smedley who was a complete waste of space and time as he did not bother resolving our problems and in the end we took our complaint to the ombudsman, I feel he's job role would be more suited as a prison officer than in a restaurant

For the first time I've been to a Miller & Carter restaurant and I'm impressed, been to few others and not impressed by them, thought they were overrated but this one blew my mind 👍🏿

Went here on boxing day with my family, service was terrible and slow, food was average. We had to send one meal back as the lamb was mainly fat and sides arrived when meals were nearly finished. Definitely not worth the money.

Steak was not good quality, fat, tough and not cooked consistently. Fries were also disappointing under cooked. As it was very busy we didn't want to inconvenience staff but in hind sight we should of raised poor quality. Staff were polite enough and genuinely we always have a good experience here, just not this time.

We have been visiting M&C for years, but this will be our last visit. The alcohol policy seems ridiculous; there is not a single sign indicating their company policy. The Licensing Act 2003 clearly states (the only exception is that 16- and 17-year-olds may drink beer, wine, or cider with a table meal in relevant premises, when accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over). Miller and Carter denies this as a company policy. Clearly, there are no signs of such a policy, neither while entering the restaurant nor while booking a table. As a company, if you wish not to comply with the Licensing Act 2003, signage should be visible to customers. Two or three signs for dress code and the Licensing Act 2003 are posted before entering, but clearly, no signs for the company's alcohol policy. Food was extremely poor today from finding blue roll in one of the salads and 3 out 5 steaks were served with wrong cooking temperatures. Wasn't in the mood to complain or stay any longer as we never to plan to visit M&C again. *Thank you for taking the time to reply.As said i have been visiting M&C for years and inhave never seen and signage about your policy sor servicing alcohol to anyone below 18. It's your company policy and I do accept that but a sign will help people knowing your company policy. Searching your Web policy not really helps many people as if you want to stand out from the rest need to mention it either in your front page or while entering the premises.
