over an hour late. food stone cold. restaurant aware of how long the driver will be refused to make another one. half rhe order is missing. completely unfair

Food was brilliant, service was quick, value for money was excellent, if I had one complaint it would be that it wasn’t very hot, just warm. But still nice.

The food and staff were great. All requests were fully met. I had a very relaxing lunch with friends.

Had excellent service and a lovely steak

I came here with my boyfriend for our two year anniversary. The service was amazing and our waitress Tash was the nicest woman I’ve ever met bless her. My steak was slightly undercooked and there was an excessive amount of fat on it, however the rest of the meal was absolutely gorgeous. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, unfortunately there was some hindrances with the dress code that made me uncomfortable as a man was wearing a Nike tech fleece in the restaurant area. Over all was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend.

Superb 20oz t-bone, cooked to perfect. Emma was an excellent host, thank you. And a special extra treat for my daughters birthday.

A friend had a wedding meal here instead of a big reception somewhere. The staff were great, fast, efficient and friendly. Particular praise goes to our main server Kat, She was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she handled all meal/drinks orders for 18 guests amazingly well and efficiently. We were never without a drink in our hand or food in front of us.

This is my third time coming to this miller & carter and is definitely one of my favourite ones to come too . Was served by kat who is so friendly and joy . What a beautiful place. I was enthralled by the quality and touched my pallet. I got very emotional and excited when I visited. I have just been released from a Secure Mental Health Unit and this place proved that great things exist. Well done to all the staff 👏

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, our server Loz was polite, attentive and lovely. The restaurant itself is probably one of the best miller and carters we’ve been to. We had the cote de boeuf to share and it was incredible, a gorgeous seared smoky flavour and cooked to perfection

Disappointed! We used the Miller and Carter for the family events for the past 4 years. Service was terrible! Staff sitting eating with their feet on chairs waiting to get served was so long while six staff loudly laughing and drinking and then coming over and then having to return because they hadn’t put the order on the iPad. It was more like a staff outing than an enjoyable meal . Completely ruined my daughter in law birthday . Staff change on dessert was rude !

She never fails to make our experience amazing. Salmon was lovely too, compliments to the chef on the food! Another night another great service from Kat. Thanks for welcoming us once again. Went for my birthday, Kat was our waitress and was very attentive and friendly. Food was amazing and service was excellent. Even my desert had a “Happy Birthday chocolate” with gold shimmer which was done by Kat - thank you such a lovely touch. We always enjoy our food when we go to Miller & Carter.

Kat, as always, looked after us and always makes us feel at home. Food was superb and the steak was perfectly cooked. Thanks everyone, and especially to Kat for helping make our 10th wedding anniversary meal so special. X

We shared the roast sharer . It was excellent . Chicken lamb and rib eye steak with lovely veg Yorkshire puds and delicious gravy

We came in on Sunday for our family Easter meal everything was perfect as usual! If you haven’t already try the Sunday sharing board I think this was our 4th time having it great quality meat and lots of tasty sides. Our waiter was Kieran and he was super friendly and attentive.

food and service great as always but it is freezing cold in restaurant. no heating on and even waitress was wearing jacket. a few complained and they put heating on just as we was finishing. update. the heating was not turned down by customers the previous night, the deputy manager stated to the waitress that he didn't feel the cold but would put the heating on after people complained, also other people moved from other areas to the front as it was even colder at the back area.

We had a lovely meal at m&c in Marlbrook. The steak was cooked perfectly, the camembert mash was delicious and we were served by Paula who was amazing and made us feel special celebrating our anniversary. Thanks again!

This was one of our more favoured M & C branches so the wife chose it for her last birthday night celebration. However a year later and it was looking a bit tired. The room was full of children and it felt a bit like a crèche. Any chance of a romantic night out was out of the window. It's a pity that they couldn't find an area just for them. The menu has changed a bit and not for the better. I also noticed the calorific value of some of the meals, ouch! There were 3 of us and unsurprisingly it was steaks for two but I went for the feta and spinach pie. The service was very good, much better than the last time, very friendly and on the ball but it wasn't full on our Sunday night. The meal didn't start well, we had to send one lettuce wedge back as it was very brown around the edges. How does that happen? The fillet steaks were very good and 6 no complaints at all but I would have liked a bit more feta in my pie nor could I taste the lemon and garlic. The drinks were very good though albeit a bit pricey. Unusually the wife had a creme brulee but it lacked a crisp top and the frozen raspberries were mushy and tasteless. Overall not quite the experience that I had hoped for.

What a lovely experience we have had. Sarah the manager first greeted us and was just wonderful, taking us to our table and taking our drinks order straight away! Wonderful! Great food and service by Emma. The only thing that remains an issue with Miller and Carter are the prices….don't seem to be reflective of the cost of living issues affecting many people. This was a special occasion with adult company, certainly wouldn’t be bringing the kids!

We had a lovely first experience at Miller & Carter tonight, made even better by our wonderful waitress, Kat. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive throughout our visit. Even when something wasn’t quite right, Kat handled it quickly and with a smile – nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, especially the steak, and everything was beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the special touch Kat added for my daughter’s birthday – she surprised her with a sweet birthday message written on her dessert plate, which made the evening feel extra special. It’s rare to find service that feels so personal and thoughtful. Big thanks to Kat and the whole team – we’ll definitely be back!
