Great 2 course deal. Went with my friend for a catch-up lunch. Just fabulous and was served by Max who we could not fault his service - excellent asset to the company. Lovely burger 🍔 too.

This place never lets me down. Steaks are simply fantastic, well presented, and beautifully cooked.

Christian was a perfect host, the right level of attentiveness without making us feel over checked on. The food was superb as expected.

First time here for my dad’s 70th birthday lunch. Our server, Christian, was so friendly and helpful. Meal itself was out of this world. I had the Californian chicken burger which just hit the spot. Portion size was perfect. Before leaving Christian even brought out a complimentary ice cream dessert for dad which was a lovely wee surprise. Will absolutely be back.

Great dinner tonight - Cristian was a fantastic host and had perfect recommendations for the wine that went very well with our steak.

What a lovely first first to Miller & Carter. Cristian was an amazing host at our table. So warm, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was immaculate. And the Steaks...they need a capital S. We had a sharer board and it looked like to much but was so good we ate it all. The foods nothing without great service though so thank you!

Fabulous dinner. Highly recommend. Jordan was our server and she was lovely. Very helpful and nothing was a bother.

Having dined at Miller & Carter in Bristol, who absolutely knocked it out of the park, we decided to try their establishment at Cramond Brig. Firstly, the entrances into the carpark are a bit tight and they are right off the main road out front. We were coming from the Forth Road Bridge end and nearly took our front suspension out as there is a huge pothole in the road there. Although the noise hitting it sounded like something had broken, nothing seemed to have been damaged. We parked up. There are a good number of spaces in the carpark but if you have a large vehicle it might be a bit tight. REMEMBER and register your number plate inside to avoid getting a parking ticket. Also, beware of all the cars parked on the street and because this is a cycle lane lookout for bikes. We went to the reception where we were greeted immediately and taken to our table. We had pre booked our table the night before as this place is always very busy. Our server 'Elsa' came over and took our drinks orders, then our food. We went for the Sensational Sunday 3 course deal £35.95. First out came our wedges of lettuce, then our starters, then our steaks and finally, our puddings. Sorry, but I'm not a great fan of the lettuce wedges. Even though it had a bacon dressing on it, this was left. The starters, sticky chipotle chicken was well cooked and tasted great, our only complaint was the pea shoots garnishing it were a bit limp. Our rump steaks again were cooked perfectly. I felt that the peppercorn sauce could have been a bit more peppery. My wife loved the red wine sauce with her steak. I paid extra for chunky chips (£1.00) but was a bit let down. They could have been chunkier and they did look and taste like McCains frozen chips. The fried onions served with the steaks were a bit overdone, crunchy on the outside and greasy on the inside, these were left. Our puddings were poached pear and sticky toffee pudding. We were a bit let down by these. The pear tasted good but the coconut sorbet was icy and didn't taste of coconut. The sticky toffee pudding had a grainy feel to it, like it was slightly underdone in the microwave. During our meal, we ordered a soda water and diluting orange and a blackcurrant and lemonade from one of the male servers. Unfortunately, he brought back soda water and fresh orange and a blackcurrant and water. I was fine with the blackcurrant mistake, but soda and fresh orange isn't very nice to drink. To all credit, though, this was replaced with the correct drink, no questions asked and an apology, so top marks for that. They do have a smart casual dress code. Special mention to our server Elsa, who was polite, prompt and well presented. A credit to the establishment. The server who got the drinks wrong, maybe needs to pay a little more attention when waiting tables. One more disappointment was a mistake in our bill, which we didn't notice until we checked the bill at home. Our food should have come to £72.90 because of the Sunday deal, as advertised on their website, the drinks came to £14.80 total, including the vat the total bill should have been £87.70 but we were charged £95.95 and we left a 10% tip. All in all it's a nice place to eat, albeit more expensive than some other restaurants which we wouldn't mind paying but for the small niggles above that let it down.

Went for my son in-laws birthday. They have a fab gluten-free menu. I was really impressed by everything as soon as I stepped through the doors. Had an amazing steak 100% 10-10.

Dropped in for an afternoon treat on spec and where accommodated. My husband is in an electric wheelchair, was enjoying lovely starters and mains when my husband began to choke! Manager was exceptional looking after us, calling an ambulance and making us feel safe and looked after. Staff pulled together to keep service going without their manager directing. Sorry to have caused such a ruckus. Many many thanks to all. Thankfully husband had a full recovery. Sheena & Andy x

Waited a while for food to come ( 30 mins) and when it did the chips were luke warm and onion bread was very very greasy, burger was nice as was deserts, but don't think we would rush back

Server Shereen was lovely, very accomodating and quick service. Filet steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare)

Our server Sam was absolutely exceptional really friendly welcoming gentleman, a real pleasure to be around. On top of that the food was out of this world the steak and everything was cooked to perfection. We’re here a lot and had Sam on a couple of occasions this one in specific was my dads 62nd birthday and just by listening to us chatting while he was bringing drinks to the table etc he took that information and got my dad a lovely desert on the house without any of us knowing. That’s me again Sam you made out day!

First time here and it will not be the last as everything was lovely. Very good sized portions and everything cooked to perfection. Sam was very attentive and switched on, thank you for a great time!

Good service overall, tasty food, but my ribeye was a bit tough. The other ribeye steak in the party was fine.

To the manageress, (Later found out to be Saffron.) was greeted very politely well mannered young lady call saffron at the front desk, then seated in a well thoughtful area, as disabled table with radiator and close to loo as the asked when seat how far. and she discreetly informed me. I was left a soon ask if I would like a drink and I ask for alcohol free and water. After drinks had arrived, Shortly asked if I was ready to order which I did with the lady’s help Shereen was very pleasant thought out my interactions. She read parts of the Menu as I was clear struggling to read. I order 7oz steak medium rare, and chips Which was lovely and very well cooked by Adam( as I asked on way out of door) My dessert was fantastic apple pie and custard With another alcohol free Cocktail. If I was a food critic then I would happily have stay or visit another of you restaurants, to find out you owned by Tobys carvery’s, well I was blown away with the service from all staff on shift, there interactions with the well mixture or clientele was out of this world in my opinion and a first for me. Went to Miller and Carter Cramond Brig Edinburgh on the 28th Feb eith family for a meal. From start to finish the staff were polite. Our meal i have to say was amazing, we all had starters, ranging from garlic bread to grilled prawns. 3 of the party (there were 4 of us) had steaks which were all cooked perfectly. The 3 that had steaks loved the quater lettuce with our preferences on dressings...they were lush. My nephew is a picky eater (no healthy stuff at all) had the burger...just the burger on the burger bun...no tomato, no lettuce, no sauce...just the burger ! He said it was the best burger ever. Our serve Sam what can I say, you made our night with your cheeky banter, Sam explained the steak experience very well and recommend how our steaks should be cooked. My nephew had a desert ( no one else had room) the double belgium chocolate brownie...its the quietest I've seen him for a while LOL. He wouldn't even let me taste it. So thank you Sam, and all the staff at Miller and Carter Cramond Brig for making our family night out a lovely relaxed evening. 😀

Beautiful meal with my partner at are local steak house. Have been before and was hesitant to come back however the new head chef adam has really turned it around! Loving the new menu aswel guys. We were served by Max who was a friendly waiter and nothing was too much trouble. 2 of us had the lamb, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The rest of the party had the rump steak which was also delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and the dessert was a lovely touch

It was my wife's birthday. She's a vegetarian. First time visit to Miller & Carter. Our host and waitress Lora was brilliant. Quick to supply us with drinks before dinner. And very happy to proffer advice on the menu and guidance on how a particular steak should be cooked. Lara was also able to assist Linda with her vegetarian options. We had a main and pudding. The food arrived promptly and was served piping hot on hot plates. I had a 30 day aged ribeye steak with french fries which was really really good. The steak was perfectly cooked and was melt in your mouth. The salad garnish on the side was lovely and crisp as well as refreshing. Linda really enjoyed her burger. It was lovely and moist. It also came with a heap of french fries. I had ice cream for pudding and my wife banofee pie. Both of which were enjoyable. Overall we had an excellent meal and experience. Thankyou Lora and the team at Miller & Carter.

Steak was delicious but they gave us the wrong sauce. Took ages to arrive and wasn’t busy. We asked to order but the waitress carried on setting another table before taking our order. Lovely staff.

Went for lunch, great value on the set lunch menu, was busy but the service from Shereen was top notch. 10/10.

We have visited this Miller & Carter and others multiple times over the years. We decided to come here after celebrating our son’s 1st birthday. The food is always absolutely delicious. There is a great drinks menu and the service we received from Lora was exceptional. Every request was quickly handled, from high chairs, to ordering the kids food as quickly as possible to keep him amused. Regular drinks being offered. She really went above and beyond for us with a smile the entire time! Can’t fault this experience. Absolute 10/10. Looking forward to returning!

1st visit to this M & C. Nice warm friendly greeting from the manager . Sam , our waiter , was very attentive and explained everything to us . We opted for the Sunday set menu @£33.95 per person. Beautifully presented from the starter through to the main and sweet. Nice pint of lager and a mocktail. Steak cooked exactly as ordered 😋. Nice to see consistency between the restaurant here and the one in Frederick Street in Edinburgh. Will defo be back for more mouth watering food .

We had a really lovely dinner here and Sam went above and beyond to give us the best service and was especially helpful since one of our party had a food allergy.

Steak was too notch as always (only the sauce let it down... pepper sauce tasted flowery!)

Nice staff but service was way too slow and food was average.

Food quality is amazing! Best steak in town and for a reasonable price. Temperature was too hot so make sure you are not overdressed. Waiters/waitresses were polite and very attentive.

Fantastic meal at M&C. The venue is great with good space between tables and music not loud to disrupt the atmosphere of the place. Sam was very attentive and helpful with the service provided. Food as always was lovely. 5 stars.

Went over last Sunday, shared the butchers block, all the steaks were cooked to perfection! We also order a side of the bone marrow it was delicious! If you are looking to treat yourself for a nice steak this is your place. Excellent food and top notch service! Highly recommended.

Would recommend booking a table like we did to avoid a wait time to be seated, service was 5 star and our server Jordan was lovely. Food was incredible as always. Car park was very busy but this can't be avoided so I would say allow plenty time to find a parking space.

Went to miller and carter for my birthday meal and can honestly say it lived up to all the recommendations. Best stake I have had and the hubby also loved his. Our server Sam was very knowledgeable and gave the best recommendation on how the meat is cooked and sauces. The lemon tart is also amazing.
