Parking is shocking nowhere near enough spaces. We had to park on the ramp at the side of the carpark and restaurant which was just a mud pit when getting out the car. For what was meant to be a 20oz T bone steak both were a big difference in size. Wasn't convinced 20ozs was the size. But can't prove that obviously. Although 1 was thicker and larger than the other.

Great food! The dessert for two is absolute sugar bomb with almost 1800kcal, recommended for everyone who wishes to die from heart attack hahaha 😂 Brilliant stakes and lovely sides defo recommend mustard sauce for wedge.

Been a few times to this restaurant and always have good food. Tonight’s was top notch! Great food and our server Nathan made the night better….really friendly and he was definitely the best member of staff we have experienced in this miller and Carter by far! Well done Nathan 👏

My wife and I treat ourselves to a Miller and Carter at Cramond Brig at least once a month and it always delivers from start to finish. Justyna was very polite and the service was very efficient also. Again, five stars all round!

Absolutely incredible steak and I will probably dream about the cheese cake a few times… 😂 The server Jordan was absolutely fantastic and a good laugh!

Despite being busy we were served quickly and our food arrived quickly. Although we had to send our steak back when returned they were perfect and we were provided with fresh fries and sides. Our server Max couldn't have been more attentive when taking care of us and took care of our concerns immediately. Desserts and starters were fabulous no faults at all.

Visited today for lunch; couldn't fault the service or food.

Sam was our waiter and he was lovely and very informative as we tried a few different cuts of meat. He showed interest in his job and gave us his attention while we asked him questions about how certain cuts of meat are cooked. Lovely customer service and would defo come back!

Nice steak, but all down hill from there , frozen chips tinned mushrooms, frozen sticky toffee pudding, for price charged ,no excuse for not serving fresh ingredients, will not be back!!

Saturday teatime treat once again at Cramond Brig As usual the results of having excellent food,staff and atmosphere was second to none Every one just can’t get enough of the attention to detail from the staff and immense friendliness On the night Max was our server a fine attribution to the restaurant good knowledge and a nice manner Girls were well impressed with their cocktails Then the food starters excellent followed by our steak fest the surf and turf was magnificent Can’t say anything about desert as we could not fill our selves with any more Just a great restaurant 👍👍👍👍

Good value lunchtime menu. The food was very good with a reasonable choice on the fixed lunch menu. Nice selection of both alcoholic cocktails and cocktails. With a selection of deserts and options for mini desert and coffee which was perfect for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere but more formal than relaxed and quite quiet at lunchtime. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and there was ample parking out front. Not sure I would visit for the evening a la carte menu as it is quite pricey. Recommend for lunch menu.

Good steak. Plenty parking. Good ambience. Not the cheapest place in town. Overall good value for money. (They do serve other meats or even vegetarian meals.)

First time going to miller & carter and was blown away with my steak. It was absolutely melt in my mouth. I got the 8oz fillet steak cooked medium (usually I’m a well done steak eater) but it was delicious. Justyna our waitress service was first class.

We had our first Anniversary Meal here, and felt welcome from the off. Sam our server couldn't have been any more helpful. Food was amazing, great standard. We will definitely be back.

Our server, Lora, was awesome and made it a really great experience for us, even during what looked like a busy dinner service! The food was absolutely superb as well, with a comfortable and relaxed environment it was just a brilliant visit all round.

The food was incredible. We shared cheesy garlic bread to start and it was so nice, lots of garlic and so cheesy. The steak just melts in your mouth. I had rump and my son had sirloin. Although not on the menu the chef kindly made a garlic butter for our steaks. The presentation was really well done. We opted not to have dessert but, our lovely waitress Laura/Lara - I'm sorry got my son a very cute plate for a birthday treat. Definitely recommend and will absolutely be back.

Food is quite nice but ridiculously overpriced. Absolutely not good value for money. I'm unlikely to be back as there's loads of nicer and better-value places to visit.

Very tasty food, our server Justyna was great and her food recommendations were really good. The steak was eaten too quickly to take photos, but the mango bomb was refreshing. Been back a second time and Lora was very friendly and accomodating. Will be back again for next years birthday 😄

I have gone to this restaurant for around 8 years and never had a bad meal. It really is one of the most consistently reliable restaurants in Edinburgh. Last night was no exception. My husband and I shared a chateaubriand and it was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. Love the onion bread and and the iceberg lettuce with blue cheese. Our waiter was Cristian. He went above and beyond. Ask him to recommend a wine, he really knows his wines and it was not too expensive. He was just brilliant. Thank you Cristian for making it such an enjoyable and memorable evening. I’m gonna book again for next week.

The whole building and premise looks elegant and definitely pass for a steak house. Tried their 30 day old dry aged 16 oz rib eye and the pork ribs. Honestly, I find the dishes to be very average. The rib eye was cooked medium, but seasoning wasn't good enough. The pork ribs were cooked or smoked earlier and as soon as I order, they'll simply rub a very sweet sauce on it and serve. I'd suggest never to try their pork ribs, you could cook better at home. Even, you could cook better steaks at home. I really wanted to try the best steaks and this steakhouse is nowhere close to best or even above average. I might try their tomohawk steak and burgers in the future to see if it's any good for the price. So, in short, definitely not worth the price. Just another overrated restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere is great for an evening out with their very average but expensive steaks and a bottle of wine. Good luck. Cheers

Everything perfect. Kim, our server, was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Have been here once again recently for my birthday. Things did not go well and I won’t be back. Spent £100 - value £25 if you’re lucky. Genuinely disappointed.

We arrived early for our booking but our Table was ready. The staff had accommodated our special request from the booking form on what table we would require as we had an Assistance Dog with us. Food was excellent, friendly and attentive staff and great service.

I had not tasted such delicious meat before. Tender with an exceptional flavor. Very attentive and helpful service, in a very cozy atmosphere. You really can't leave Edinburgh without visiting this restaurant.

The restaurant is busy and the service good but if you want a decent steak I would try elsewhere they have become complacent

Myself and my partner came for dinner last night for a date night! We were very impressed, everything we had to eat, was amazing. We went for the set menu which was only £33.50 per person for 3 courses. My partner got the king prawns to start, the steakhouse burger and we shared the chocolate and Salted Caramel cookie pie dessert. I had the sticky Chipotle chicken to start, a rump steak cooked to perfection, and the dessert. All amazing! Sam looked after us, was very friendly and helpful. Great service and will defo be back!!

Fantastic evening being served by Sam. Had a lovely gluten free dinner (lamb) with some cider. Can't wait to be back!

We just ate here for a family celebration and it was appalling. Over the course of the meal we had 4 different servers which meant the service was mixed. Drinks are hard to mess up so that was fine. I will say the Prosecco bucket was unceremoniously dumped on the table and not poured for us. Never had that before. It’s usually on a stand and actually served. Our starters took a while and were average. Speaking for myself, I had the chipotle chicken and it had a dribble of sauce and was hard and dry. I’d have passed this on but no one asked and I couldn’t have told you who my server was. We waited a long time for the mains. Our lettuce wedges came out which usually means the mains are en route but this didn’t happen. 20mins later, when we asked we were told “well you ordered something well done”. This was way longer than it takes to cook something even if it is well done - also you’re a steak restaurant. You MUST know how to manage your cooking cycle so the well done goes on in plenty of time. Eventually they came out. Two of us had steak - a medium well rump and a medium rare sirloin. I was handed what should’ve been my sirloin but cutting into it, it was overcooked. We queried and server 3 of 4 was confident they were right! But then when we pressed he admitted they were probably mixed up. Surely a so called steak expert would know this? Server 4 of 4 clearly saw we weren’t happy and came over. The rump was medium well but so overcooked and chewy. No offer of replacement. My sirloin was full of gristle and inedible. Again no replacement. The chips were lukewarm. We had a second round of drinks that we had to fit around the empty glasses of the first round. Server 4 said she would get the manager to come and speak to us. That didn’t happen. He slapped 20% off on our bill and ignored us on the way out. The whole time we were roasting as it was oppressively hot and we had to sit batting away the hoard of flies. Disgusting. I could hear staff at the dispense section of the bar loudly talking, moaning and swearing which isn’t exactly in keeping with the vibe. I’m absolutely appalled at the experience and it’s ruined our celebration. I will pre-empt a management reply to provide me with your phone number telling me to get in touch to discuss. No. You ignored us once already. 3.30pm booking for 5 under Kirsty. You can use my details to email me and practice your customer service skills. Really doubt I’ll be back.
