The meal itself was very tasty and really enjoyed the onion loaf. However the steaks were cooked well done when i asked for meduim rare on both steaks which let it down a little.

Aaron was amazing from start to finish, his quality of service was exceptional. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever received.

Excellent food and great attentive service from Sophie on only her second shift. Atmosphere in the front section was really nice and relaxed. Food was excellent.

We came for a belated birthday meal and was served by the amazing Aaron! He was so attentive, talkative, knowledgeable and ensured that we had everything we needed at all times. I have never experienced service like it! He is a massive asset to your business! Thank you very much!

Aaron who looked after us was such a pleasure to meet. When we weren't happy with where we were sat he immediately moved us to another table. He made sure we were happy with each course served and his friendly, welcoming personality made our visit even more special.

More context after response from owner. Booked a table for 630pm on a Sunday, arrived and got a drink in the bar, bar team were not the most friendly bunch, but we got our drinks and proceeded to the host station to be seated at our table. Restaurant is well decorated and looks nice. My partner has an allergy and Aaron took this very seriously and was very indepth with the process to make sure her food was safe. This is greatly appreciated. Ordered some starters for the table which were great. Both ourselves and the other couple with us ordered the butchers block, and 3 for £10 sides. The fillet was cooked perfect as was the rump however the ribeye, which was extremely thin, was overcooked by any standard. As for the owners response regarding making our server aware of this, I opted not to cause a fuss about one third of our meal being overcooked. This is just an honest after meal review.

We had a lovely dinner at Miller and Carter tonight. It was our wedding anniversary and everything was perfect from beginning to end. The food was fabulous, the recommendations from Aaron our server were so helpful and we came out with cocktails ideas to try from home ! 🙌🏻 Can’t recommend this place enough

our server Aaron was amazing. He made us so very welcome. He discussed our food choices with us, which we haven't experienced in many recent visits. He was very friendly, helpful and made our visit such a lovely experience. He offered me a sample of the wine to try before ordering a glass and he prepared a birthday message dessert platter for me too. He also called me by name, getting the details from outer booking. I observed him treating all his other customers in the same manner. He is such a breath of fresh air, it costs nothing to be polite and friendly

Went to Miller and Carter in Cannock to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and had a great evening. Food was cooked exactly as we asked and kids really enjoyed their desert. We were lucky enough to have Aaron as our waiter who was very friendly and kind, he genuinely went the extra mile to make our daughter’s birthday memorable.

I felt like the food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was fantastic. It is likely we will return to this establishment.

Was really disappointed with my food this time round. The ribs were burnt and overcooked, really dry with barely any meat. Our waitress Madi was really lovely about the situation and genuinely took it into consideration and gave us a discount on our food! She made our experience a lot better and deserves a lot of credit 💕 thank you Madi!!

What happened after eating hamburgers + desserts... is indescribable!!! I still haven't eaten anything and neither has my wife! after eating a meal about 3-4 hours later... my wife woke up first, then I woke up with unimaginable stomach pain!

It is s nice place clean tidy and looking a nice. The food was good and nice to eat, could of done with s but more. The service was not the best, when got there the place was half empty and I said table for 3 she said can we wait 20 min? But then ask another who sat us down straight away. The service was then slow but 4 waiter not doing much.

We celebrated my son’s birthday here today. Chateaubriand was honestly superb. One of the best ever. Wine (Rioja) was also excellent to wash it down. Another stand out was our waitress, Sydney. Great food and service but the Air Con blasting us all was not so good due to some bizarre health and safety policy where everyone’s food has to be frozen on the table 🤣. The waitress did her best to adjust it but it was not under her control. We were a large group so couldn’t be moved easily.

We went for my birthday meal this evening and Aaron was our server..... he was so polite, well mannered and very helpful. Even though it was extremely busy, he had a few conversations with us and it made our experience more enjoyable. He is a true credit to the team.

Excellent starters and a great team/service. It's a shame the steak just doesn't match the price. This a reoccurring theme with Miller & Carter. An average steak house trying to position itself as a high end steak restaurant. I went for the award winning sirloin cooked to the chefs recommendation. It's possible that I burnt the calories consumed just trying to chew threw it. They seem to have the team and the decor worked out; even the starters. It's a lovely place to be, but, mains (let's be honest, the steaks should be the star of the show), just don't cut it, especially at their prices.

Superstar Aaron strikes again. We'd actually meet him at the Chester restaurant before Christmas and he remembered us as we had talked about shared home areas. He helped make this a great afternoon for my Mom's birthday topped of with a lovely decorated dessert plate. The food was amazing, done absolutely as ordered and full of flavour. Aaron was attentive throughout and we loved the experience. It's because of people like that which makes it worth it.

Unable to dine on this occasion but we have dined there in the past a number of times and we honestly cannot fault the food..never had a bad meal or service from waiting on staff which has always been exceptional so that is not my gripe..My partner booked a meal for my birthday on 3rd July originally for 4 people..no problems at all. We then had a request from another family member who had managed to swap a work shift in order to join us. At 1pm on 2nd of July my partner tried calling the site to check if this was OK but was trying for ages so had to leave a message on the answer phone which stated that someone would be in contact as soon as possible to confirm or reject our request. We heard nothing at all until we managed to get through a few hours before we were due to arrive for my birthday meal to be told sorry they were fully booked until 8.45 which was not suitable as we had to travel 45 mins to get there so would have been a late night. If it was just a normal outing for a bite to eat we wouldn't be bothered but it was a special occasion which we'd all been looking forward to and for the management/supervisor or whoever not to bother calling us back is not acceptable..we were now left with a couple of hours to try and book somewhere nice instead of there. As I stated food is faultless, on this occasion poor service has let you down and our family..

Always nice at this branch of miller and carter and great service and food as usual, served by Lottie tonight she did a great job ensured we were looked after. Could see it was a busy shift but all staff handled brilliantly.

We went out for dinner with friends and the service, food and drinks were wonderful from the start. Our server Charlie was a pleasure, very friendly and attentive, she even made happy birthday deserts for my husband and I, and provided our friend with a strawberry on his pint glass as he decided on a liquid desert :) Thank you very much, lovely evening all round.

Took my family here for an evening meal. Both T bone steaks werfull of Grisel ! My wife’s salmon was dry and tasteless if you can afford expensive food go to an independent restaurant instead I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to put a negative vibe on the evening! Almost £ 300 for six people I won’t be going there again also we was not offered the 3 courses on special offer. Realised that’s why it was busy because of the meal deal.
