Lovely as always!! Can not fault anything about Pye Green chip shop, the food is always top quality, fresh and hot. I have used this shop for over 25yrs and SO happy it's now on Just Eat 🤣🤣. Never have I waited longer than 35 minutes for delivery!! Perfect 👌. They go above and beyond to adhere to requests, it doesnt go unoticed - thank you!

Not a dan of the lamb donar. Xam taste some sprt of mint but everything was fresh and cooked well. Made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. Overall great chip shop

The chips were re heats and so was the fish and the fish was small for the price .

Sadly we didn’t enjoy our meal. It was nice and hot but so greasy and no salt and vinegar on even tho we requested extra. All very soggy and we didn’t even finish it

Food is consistently ‘okay’ …There are better and worse chip shops in the area but this is a happy average. Prices are good and the staff are very friendly and chatty. Probably the friendliest chippy in Cannock.

Large fish was more like a small and the small fish was the size of a goldfish. To top it off the fish was dry and over cooked. First and last time going here.

food was hot on arrival and was very tasty, 1 minor problem I ordered a small Donner kebab,and I was sent a small Donner meat in a box,no pitta bread

Just an ok fish bar, the only problem is the owner won’t cook you a fresh piece of fish that other fish bars will if you require his words are all fish is fresh out of the pan but when I looked at the fish it was all heavy battered and only wanted a fresh fish lightly battered. So summing this fish bar up is that the owner doesn’t put the customer first like other fish bars do!!

ordered from many chippies through just eat and this one tops them all,my favourite one now,ordered 3 times from here and food has always been spot on,had chargrilled burger, it tasted great the bun was fresh and soft,you can tell the burger was cooked on chargrill and not deep fried tasted really nice,also had 2 pieces of southern fried chicken, also tasted great chicken not dry and the coating was excellent, great service,great delivery time and food always hot and tasty 👍👍👍

Food was absolutely delicious arrived hot which was brilliant! Ordered fish and chips, the fish wasn't overly battered and sickly like some chip shops, recieved exactly what I ordered. Best chippy I've had in a long time locally, will definitely be returning!

Every Monday and Friday I travel that way and look for a chippy thats open , found Pye green on Monday and it was great. Highly recommend

Cone of chips for the price very small portion

Stopped by this place on 11/11/23 as myself and my family was hankering for some fish and chips. Never had a bad one from here until this day. 3 out of the 4 of us ended up with food poisoning. My dad was sick 3 times throughout Saturday night and had stomach cramps for the entirety of 12th and 13th. Myself and my husband had stomach cramps and dodgy stomachs for two days as of Saturday night and they finally let up yesterday afternoon. My mum only missed it because she didn’t have the mini fish, sausage, chips and curry sauce. We went at 7:30pm where almost all items we asked for were gone and the only remaining items were old and were clearly cooked a while before we bought them. Safe to say they’ve lost a valued customer as this was our regular. Such a shame.

Food is alright, only use them as on way home and take cards!

Not sure who rates this chipshop for great tasting kebabs? First time to try here and had large kebab meat and chips, large sausage and a bottle of sprite to take it over 10 pound so I could pay by card but my bill came to £12.70 and when I left I thought I may have been over charged as it seemed wrong as kebab meat and chips Is around £7ish. I returned home anyway and tried the food and tbh I wasn't impressed, way too much mint sauce, thick chunks of kebab not strips and soggy chips. The kebab also tastes cheap too like luncheon meat, no flavour whatsoever and certainly didnt taste like lamb. I wonder if that's why they put loads of sauce on to hide the food. The sprite was nice though and staff seemed OK too, but is that enough reason for me to go back? Nah. Oh and not sure what the red pieces are in my picture, I'm only presuming its a cross contamination of meat on the tongues from the red tikka meat to the donner meat, not good. Sorry I'd give a 3/10

The fish in this chippy is amazing! The chips were OK too. The downside is that they close too early for me. That's OK though, now I know, I can make sure that I get there earlier. If you get there after 9.30, in the evening, there's another one on the opposite side of the road a bit futher up the hill. 😶

The best chippy we've had in a long time. Will be going here from now on.

Great place to grab a kabab and chips.

They have overpriced themselves £10 for a large fish and regular chips! The chips were cold and the fish batter was too thick I have used this chippy for years but last night was terrible I know you have to spend a minimum of £10 to pay by card however I think the lady behind the counter just charged me £10 coz no way that order was £10

Fish is fresh. Chips are great. Chicken Kebab is amazing. Can't recommend this place enough. Decided to visit on route back home rather than stop at a service station. Definitely worth the extra 10 mins added to the journey.

Best cod/ haddock in the Universe!!! Large chips are soo huge!!! You can call and ask to keep the haddock, that's what I always do!

Chips were soggy and very vinigary thin curry sauce.. ate the top layer but threw 2/3rds away.. tail end of fish (thin & no flavour).. Maybe because it was one of their special deals.. but not nice

very disappointed as order was incomplete but still charged for everything. Chips tasted like they had been recooked but still managed to be cold. Does not except card unless you spend over £10,which is disgusting in the present climate. Will not be returning and would not recommend!

I had one of the best kebabs i have had in a long time today the meat was fresh and delicious and they even cut fresh salad for me that had no tomatoes as i do not like them the chips and other food also looked appetizing i will definatley be returning to try more of what's on offer great staff really friendly and the owner Thomas greets you with the bigest of smiles i dopped a picture of him in with the review i just had to show his welcoming smile...😎...PLEASE NOTE That during lockdown only 2 customers per time allowed in the shop and respect a 2 metre gap queuing out side the shop
