I also lived above them for 3 years while we worked, they were very nice people, they didn't charge us a single pound in rent, but we also helped if they asked us for something. We were there for almost a year

Just endured the most disgusting Indian food(if you can call it that?)....Rancid, oily,cold.If you eat from here,you need your head checking and most likely will end up ill.

We usually went to the elaichi as it was beautiful. We were quite sad it shut down and now has changed! We thought we would give rajas a try we arrived. We sat in our seats feeling very welcomed an then the waiter brang some poppadoms and said "on the house" which was very nice of him the staff were really nice we had starters and they were beautiful even better then the elaichi and then our food came quite quickly and it was the best food we tasted and we have been to a lot of Indian restaurants in our time it is the best food price and staff around everything is amazing please give it a try. *edit* rajas has now shout donwn as they said the kitchen was to small now they have moved to the padma in Cannock!

My wife & I have frequently used this restaurant when it was known has the ELAICHI. When it recently changed ownership we were concerned that the food and service would not be to the standard we were used to. After our first visit to RAJA’S BALTI it turned out that there was no need to be concerned the food and service was excellent. Situated next door to the very popular Dilshad restaurant in Chadsmoor my wife and would recommend any one locally looking for fine Indian/ Bangladeshi Cuisine to try RAJA’S BALTI you will not be disappointed. We had a delivery last night. The fried rice was tasteless, the Bombay aloo had massive chunks of Potatoes in it that tasted vinegary. My main which was a 'meat' Rogan josh was nice but don't know if it was lamb or goat. My partner had the wrong rice delivered. I won't bother again.

Lamb shank was still frozen at bottom Service was very poor Had to ask twice for coffees The restaurant was grubby and one of the wall panels fell off the wall behind till revealing electric circuit board Will not be returning

Went here Sunday evening pre booked table for 5.30 had the restaurant to ourselves The quality of the food as always was first class and how it's presented is probably the best in the area. I was part of a party of 9 and for most of the time we were there had the restaurant to ourselves but because of the size of our party we made our own atmosphere. Staff we very attentive but if I have to critical the service from the kitchen was very slow we were there almost 3 hours ? That aside we had a lovely evening and a very enjoyable meal. Elaichi is well worth a visit just be prepared to wait the food is well worth the wait.

Amazing service and the best indian food in the area.

The food is brilliant and what sets you off in my opinion is the presentation and customer service/table manor. Absolutely great

First time I've been to this restaurant and I would probably go back again. The food has to be one of the best I've had from an Indian restaurant, fresh, hot and full of flavour. The service was ok but nothing memorable. It was very quiet for a Friday night, we were a party of 14 and there was one other table of 2 in. Not much atmosphere either as the music was barely audible. You can take your own drinks in which makes a night out a bit cheaper. All in all if you are looking for a good night out there are probably better Indian restaurants close by but I would definitely recommend this place for the quality of food alone.

Always the best food and service

First visit, used to visit many Indian restaurants. Very relaxing, clean decor. I had chicken balti as a cautionary measure and a plain naan. The dish was outstanding in spice texture, could have been a little more plentiful, but made up for in taste. Naan came quartered, presentable maybe, I like mine whole. 9 out of 10

High quality food and fantastic service bonus take your own drinks so keeps your bill down

Date night for me and the wife so made a midweek visit. Welcoming and pleaseant setting, order taken after about 5 minutes from very polite staff. Chicken tikka staer for both served with individual sauces large bowl of salad and hot tikka, what made it more special was the notes of yum and enjoy written on the plates in sauce,nice touch. Mains were tikka chicken Jalfrazi and chicken korma, both outstanding. Only let down was the portion of rice was on the small side apart from that we highly recommended this restaurant.

The elaichi is the best restaurant in this area by far,excellent service and friendly atmosphere,the meals are amazing and consitantly good

Very clean and nice place. Bit small but the food is perfect.

All i can say is this place looked very nice as i walked past and went into the Dilshad next door. I did try and put a glass up against the wall to see if i could hear what the atmosphere was like but to no avail. The Dilshad was excellent however 😁

Can't Fault this place, the food is excellent and the service is just as good, will be back again.

these are our are go to takeaway. food is usually top notch but just lately the deliveries have been late we ordered at 6.20 and its now 7.42 and all weve been told is theyll chase up with driver on phone again now and they still cant tell us where our food is such a shame as usually good need a proper driver

Very good food, good service we booked a table for a birthday celebration . There were 12 of us everyone's order was spot on really tasty and the suprise at the end we had birthday cake. Well worth a visit it was our first time but definitely not our last.

These babies do the best musolini in cannock and is immense I've tried all the curry houses round cannock and even me mate patch who is a big Dilshad fan loves the musolini from here

I was going to go next door, but this place was quiet, so I gave it a go. Oh wow, divine, and tasted as good as it was presented. Thankyou for a wonderful meal and service.

great food, good service, take your own alcohol! Prices good, some of the best asian food Ive ever had with plenty of succulent meat in the curries . Shame it was empty only 1 other table used, as this affected the atmosphere and made us a little self conscious as the waiters appear to be hovering. but maybe on a saturday it is busier as the food was good. And there are three other Indian restaurants in the same street! plus chippy chinese, and cafe!

Fantastic food, reasonable prices, always well presented, with some more unusual dishes included and an extensive vegetarian selection. My favorite Bangladeshi restaurant with friendly staff
