Erica was very friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Reminded me of hotels from when I was a child!!

The best steak I’ve ever had, the shrimp was another level and the calamari was a lovely bonus. The ribeye was excellent and great drinks all around. Massive regards to Erica. An amazing host and made us all very welcome!

We were a party of 9. It was an amazing evening. Food was delicious, our server Emma was amazing and the night was fabulous. We were stuffed to our hearts content. Thank you for having us and we definitely be back.

we had a wonderful evening! our waitress Emma was lovely and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was my son’s 18th birthday and we brought a cake which she brought out and sang happy birthday! we had a guest who was late as he had been in a car accident and she was very attentive and caring!

It's Miller and Carter, so as expected the food was delicious and perfectly cooked and the service was attentive and timely, spot on! Our waiter was just the right amount of friendly and appeared like magic exactly when needed on a busy Sunday lunch service. A skill in itself when juggling busy tables. My only bone of contention or offence to the senses should I say was leaving the table to use the toilet facilities. Although reasonably clean the smell was absolutely awful, damp and putrid stale air hit you like a wall when you entered. The sort of smell that you feel clings to you even when you've left the room. Not what you want to smell at a restaurant and frankly not acceptable. We did inform front of house staff, I suspect we weren't the only ones.

Still a nice place to eat out , unfortunately on this occasion M&C did not live up to there own expectations, food was warm nothing was hot and it was not perfect. Obviously a bad day in the kitchen. If the bill was 75 for 4 people I would expect the above, but when your paying 200 for 4 people, you need your food hot and perfect. 3.5 out of 5

Positive points: - The staff were very welcoming. - The restaurant didn't seem too busy, we could hear ourselves talk. - The music wasn't too loud, the atmosphere was good. - The starters arrived very quickly. Negative points: - the main course, drinks and dessert service was slow. - the toilets were revolting! Only one men's cubicle in three was usable, the floors were wet with waste, one had run out of toilet paper, the soap holders were rusty, the seats were wonky and filthy. - the main course and dessert were just about OK, but poor value for money. The Chateaubriand was stringy and on the small side, the burger was excessively salty. The desserts tasted plasticky and cheap.

We had a wonderful meal with 2 adults and 4 kids, everything we ordered was so flavourful and tasty and everyone enjoyed every last bite. Our server Erica was so pleasant, welcoming and great with all the children, thank you for a lovely meal!

After hearing lot of good reviews about this place I have finally decided to try it for my wedding anniversary. Unfortunately it was not a good experience for me or my wife. Up on arrival we was greeted by a lovely lady called Sarah who showed us to our the table. After waiting 20 minutes ( restaurant was not busy ) she came over and asked us if we would like To order. We were not told about any deals - Which we were not there for how ever at the end felt like we didn’t get the right service. So 7:20 Sarah takes our food and we order 16oz steaks and two signature cocktails. Cocktails arrive any they are not strong enough almost like having a juice. At 7:50 we are approached and told they have run out of steaks on the bone. Really annoyed at this point how do you run out of steaks in a steak house when it’s not busy. We then ask the lady why we wasn’t offered any of the deals all she said was sorry. Anyway we had our meal and asked if we would like desserts and we say no. As we are enjoying our wine and some good conversation another lady comes over and just hands over our bill with out asking. This was not the experience I was hoping for anniversary. Unfortunately we won’t be returning back. Would not pick this place over branded steaks.

We had an amazing post wedding meal on 1st Sept 24, the waitress Erica was fantastic and so friendly. Even went the to trouble of putting congratulations on my wife's creme brule which she loved. Thankyou

Mitch went above and beyond for our large party as we celebrated my mother's 60th birthday. The whole team were amazing too, the food was 10/10. I was not expecting to have the lovely space we did in the restaurant so it was a lovely surprise. THANK YOU! my mum thoroughly enjoyed her birthday.

I wanted to highlight the fantastic service delivered by Caitlin (hope I spelt her name correctly!) she went above and beyond when serving our large booking for a 70th birthday and made sure the children of the group had exactly what they wanted to eat. We all had such a lovely time.

OMG! Miller and Carter is the best! I had a wonderful experience a few nights ago at one of my now favourite places to eat out. Caitlin, our server, was just excellent. She served with a smile and made sure that our every need was taken care of! A thoroughly great place to have a meal. Compliments to the Chefs. I will definitely back for all my big occasions!

Went for lunch this week. Waitress who seated us sat us on our own away from any other guests Waitress then was annoyed that we asked to sit in a non booth- apologies my husband has an artificial leg which is clearly visible and cannot fit in a booth due to space. Kind of annoyed me the place was half empty so apologies we needed to be seated where my husband was comfortable. Didn't appreciate the huffing and puffing from the person who took us to our seat Our actual Waitress that took our order was lovely. Calamari was quite under done instead of crispy batter it was soggy and wet I had the breast of chicken, new smashed potatoes & tenderstem broccoli Chicken was dry as anything- well aware breast can be a dry meat but this was terrible I ended up wrapping it up for yhe dog who sniffed his nose up at it. Smashed potatoes were not smashed I presume as this was because they were rock solid & unable to be smashed Broccoli was also very hard Sauce was lovely however there was so little of it it just about covered the bottom of the pot it was in Husband's rump steak was nice however not cooked medium at all- was mooing Place used to be really nice it's just gone right down hill Don't think we will be back again in a hurry

My partner and I have driven past this place so many times since moving to the area a year ago and thought we’d give it a try finally! Well… we feel like we’ve been missing out! The food was absolutely incredible, atmosphere was a perfect 10/10, and we got served by the loveliest waitress called Erica. We haven’t had service like this in the longest time. She went above and beyond with our experience, and really took such good care of us. We'll be coming back 100%!

Very slow service, Tuesday night in the summer holidays. Restaurant was heaving and short staffed. Waited 55 mins to get our food. Had to explain my son is Autistic and was getting upset and irritable. Today to top it off he’s been throwing up. Can’t confirm if it’s food poisoning yet. But really unhappy with the whole experience. I never leave reviews often but felt this was needed.
