Great brunch menu, fantastic cocktails and great service

Had great music playing, service was not here and there everyone was kind of walking around like they were lost, food was hot and fresh, I would suggest it as a date night, will be back to try other things on the menu. The toilet needs to be cleaned abit more regularly and the toilet seats tightened

Had my birthday brunch here and enjoyed it very much, my only little weep was the food portion sizes left some of my party feeling hungry and the eton mess had too much cream. The staff were fantastic!!!!! I would return.....

Great bottomless brunch on Saturday afternoons. The cocktails were fab, the staff amazing and the singer was an incredible entertainer!

The food was ok for the price, I would go there again if invited. The Eton mess for dessert was a letdown though, which was a shame as I was looking forward to it. Overfilled with cream and only a few small pieces of meringue.

Since the opening of the Pearl, I have eaten here several times and year in year out, there's still no sweet potato fries on the menu and I can't understand why. I think it would be popular with diners.

It’s a lovely restaurant. Very nice classy decor and a nice vibe. The singer was a little loud for conversation was the only drawback.

My dad and I and a friend had a great time here. Loved the venue, beautifully, elegantly decorated and great ambience. Very cosy. It appears they were quite short staffed as there was quite a long time between our starters and mains and we had to get the attention of the waitress to take away our empty plates but we didn’t mind too much as it was good to be able to just relax and talk. The food was outstanding but a little stingy with the grilled prawn starter only serving 4 prawns for £18. 6 prawns would’ve been better for the price and considering they are not filling for a starter. I had the monkfish curry and it’s absolutely delicious! The flavours! Fully enjoyed it and the little roti that came with it was perfect to mop up the delicious sauce! My dad enjoyed his bream and was grateful for the head being removed from his fish! Our friend enjoyed his crab starter but was a little disappointed of the amount of lobster in his linguine but commented on the great flavours. We will definitely come back as the menu is very extensive and want to sample it all!

Valentines dinner what a farce. Sat out in the cold, had to wait half an hour for a drink and service, it's really gone downhill, what a shame

Dined on 11/11/24 Sea bass delicious. Children pasta lovely. Crab burger disappointing, it was all heavy crusty dark burnt bread crumbs I could hardly bite it. Thick heavy oil. It was more like cod than crab 🦀 less crab. I didn't complain because I didn't want to spoil my husbands 60th Birthday. Otherwise I would have requested a Refund!!!! However I will call the manager today. Our blonde female server was chewing gum !!! I was most surprised.. Separate occasion in the summer ☀️ Excellent service.. Small lobster. There were 16 people at our table each person ordered and paid separately for their drink, wine Champagne, water etc.. And each time they added services charge Lol.. oh my goodness

Service extremely slow great prawn cocktail had to ask for the bread I was informed it was extra prawn cocktail should be served bread or a roll. The food was salty meat unseason and although had presented ok over all presentation could have been better currently food is on par with a pub Sunday roast. Front end staff with exception of a few appeared to be in need of additional training slow and confused as to what the should be doing orders where taking to long to arrive or didn't turn up in somecase. Manage however did address the short comings by a reduction towards the bill. The ambience was good so contemporary music playing in the background toilet clean and smelt fresh and clean surroundings.

Food very well presented and cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent Benjamin the floor manager made us feel very welcome with he’s professional polite manners. Definitely another place I’d recommend in Beckenham

The quality of the food is 1st class. Cocktails are amazing, ambitious is beautiful. Andre is absolutely amazing thank you for a lovely dining experience.

The staff are lovely and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food is of amazing quality and served promptly. I tried the Santa’s Hat cocktail, which was just as delicious as it looked, and the candy cane garnish was a charming touch. The seafood platter and oysters were exceptional, as always. I’ve visited on a weekday, Saturday evening and on a Sunday and the each dinning experience has always been great. We’ll definitely be back and continue to visit regularly, recommending this restaurant to our friends!

I came here and had really great service, the food was delicious and the staff catered to all of our needs as a big group this is very helpful and necessary. I especially want to highlight andrè he catered to all of our needs and made sure everything was okay throughout our whole time and kept on making sure we was okay .

Visited the Pearl in Beckenham for my nephews 16th Birthday. The whole experience was delightful. We were a group of 15 mixed with both adults and teenagers. The food was really good and along with the service we received from all of the staff. The managers name is Andre who is very friendly and attentive, making sure we had all we needed. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

It's a nice place, food and service was good, I just don't feel it's quite up to it's price point, so wouldn't recommend, unfortunately.

The manager was very nice for accommodating my friend and I to enjoy the lovely Christmas party set menu. The Turkey was very soft and juicy! The portion was a great size ! Starter and dessert were delicious ! Service was great ! Parking was available . Will definitely come back !

We had an amazing experience at the Pearl for our Christmas lunch party. The impeccable service by Benjamin and the team stood out, they went above and beyond to make our booking special. Benjamin and the staff were very warm and welcoming, the restaurant was beautifully decorated (both inside and out), the details for our booking was fully accommodated, the tables were stunning, and the food was amazing, delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Thank you for making our celebration unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Really disappointed. Food was inedible. The linguine was so overcooked it was almost mash. Orange and cranberry juice barely tasted of anything and appeared so watered down it was transparent. Expensive and poor quality. Totally disappointing experience.

We had a Sunday roast. The food was ok — just a bit cold and salty — but the service and atmosphere were lovely, and the view was lovely too. We did get a discount on the food, which was appreciated. I would visit again and hope it will be warmer next time.

So, what to say, my wife and I got married and we had plenty of guests, calling up the restaurant to book a table was easy, very professional, polite and friendly. Normally they don’t open till 5:30 however they were fantastic with us and let us in early as part of our wedding gift, I’m aware that other restaurants wanted to charge to open earlier. The guests loved the decorations and for most if not all it was their first time there. We each had the three course menus from the set menus and although there was extra cost there was no issues. Andrei was great! Compassionate and taking care of us and our needs! My wife and I had our first date here so it was the only option to have our wedding reception at the Pearl. Everyone loved their food from starters to mains and dessert. The staff were also great cutting the cake for us after our first cut. Honestly couldn’t have been happier with the restaurant, Andrei and the staff. I’m sure we’ll be back again for our first anniversary!

We recently celebrated my partner’s milestone birthday at the Pearl. Benjamin went above and beyond to ensure it was everything I hoped for, not just on the day but in the preparations too. The event ran so smoothly, the food was great, the service was amazing.. and my partner thoroughly enjoyed himself! Thank you for everything Benjamin and team.

Amazing food, lovely staff, only criticism is the tables could do with wiping between courses, as clean desert spoons were placed on a dirty table. Otherwise the best roast I've ever had! Huge portions, amazing value, and gorgeous interiors!

From the moment we were seated, Hamid made us feel incredibly welcome. His professionalism and warm, friendly attitude set the tone for a fantastic evening. It's rare to find a waiter who balances efficiency with such a personable approach, but Hamid did just that. He made our dinner not just a meal, but a memorable experience. If you're dining at Pearl, I highly recommend asking for Hamid. His service is exceptional, and he adds a special touch that makes your visit truly enjoyable. I made a reservation at this restaurant for my wedding lunch for a Friday at 12:30. Two weeks before the event we went in person and talked with a lady who looked like the manager and she took note of the day and assured us everything was booked. Upon arrival on our wedding day, we were informed the place was closed until dinner time as usual so we had to find another place in the area dressed as groom and bride. Unnecessary drama for such an important day.

Really lovely restaurant plenty of seating inside and outside. The salmon was fantastic and the staff were attentive and professional throughout. We went on weekday, the atmosphere was calming great music.

Rohan & Hamid were brilliant in handling such a large party. Amazing service and the food was amazing!!! Definitely be back again!

I usually like coming here as I really enjoy the food, their brunch and the customer service. However, today was disappointing. The service was the worst I’ve received with three very disinterested staff, who acted as though they didn’t want to be there or talk to customers. This was noted. I had the prawn linguine and it was very oily and tasteless. A disappointing visit overall.

The Pearl in Beckenham has a beautiful calming atmosphere with a grandius feel. If you need somewhere to have a birthday meal, hold a dinner with up to 45 people (we did downstairs and it was great) i, have an intimate meal or just somewhere to go on a Sunday afternoon this is the place. Benjamin and the staff are polite, caring and accommodating and will host with all you need to make your experience fantastic. The food is good too, a simple delivery to wet the pallet. Good portions and presented in a way that has a fine dinning feel. Honestly guys try it for yourself you will be very satisfied. Can't go without mentioning the food prices which are realistic and affordable. Have had only great experiences at The Pearl and would recommend you try for yourselves.

Had a lovely evening celebrating my partners birthday. The ambiance, food and service was top class. Shout out to Andre, who made sure it was memberable. He even did a great job of singing happy birthday when he brought out the birthday cake. Second time here and I would definitely recommend it.

No napkins on the table, had to ask. Dirty tables had to ask. No cutlery on the table .. had to .. you get the point. Forgot to bring olives. Forgot to put a drink through. disappointed

I'm sceptical about places with lots of Insta friendly flowers but I'd happily return here. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was generous, tasty and well presented. Nice view from the upper floor out to Crystal Palace too.

Myself and my friend frequently dine in Beckenham. The pearl is one our favourites along the Beckenham strip, especially when the sun is out we love to sit in the outdoor seating area. On Sunday 2nd June we went for a Sunday roast and we were served by the lovely Hamed. Hamed ensured we were comfortable and all our needs were met and we had a glorious dining experience. Customer service is everything and Hamed went above and beyond this. Hamed is an exceptional waiter and an asset to The Pearl. Looking forward to returning soon and hopefully to be looked after by Hamed again. Thank you.

This is by far one of the best restaurants that I have dined at. The staff is very personable yet professional and the food is absolutely stupendous! I had the Sea Bass Supreme and I cannot recommend it enough. The ambiance is quite pleasing and the overall atmosphere is superb.

Beautiful and great service from the younger waiters Hamed and friend they were friendly and attentive. The older man needs to be a bit kinder to everyone and not selected people. Food is great and the alcohol is really good. Portion sizes are great too and venue is clean and well put together. Wonderful lunch/brunch spot.

This was mine and my family’s first time dining at The Pearl Beckenham and we came to celebrate a special occasion for my mother. We were served by Rohan who put us at ease, was knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. We appreciated his attentiveness to our needs. The food was DELICIOUS! We had the calamari, parma ham, salmon and the crispy duck salad. Also a lovely atmosphere with nice, soft music. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

I don’t recommend it at all . I had dinner with my family and we ordered main courses and some desserts. When we came home my partner and my sister had a very strong diarrhoea and stomach pain.

They have something to sue everyone’s pallet from starters, mains sides, desserts, also lovely cocktails ,They also do set menus, so it’s also very affordable .

Had a nice Sunday lunch here today. All was fine till we finished. Payed a visit to the men’s loo and whilst in there a member of kitchen staff came out from the locked cubicle and went out without washing his hands ! Mm. Sorry can’t accept that. Won’t be going back if that’s the norm.

Date vibes, family event vibes, if you just fancy a nice dinner with a great atmosphere this is the place to go. Steak was cooked to perfection and lobster was great. Cocktails amazing! Chips were bit dry but that’s minor compared to everything it had to offer and the great customer service. Defo would go back

Booked a table of 10 for lunch. 07/04/2024.Lovely afternoon. There were 2 really lovely young men who looked after us. Really friendly and excellent service. We had 2 birthdays, they put candles on our complimentary drink glasses. (prosecco & lager). Nice touch.

First time at this restaurant. There was 8 of us celebrating our granddaughters birthday. We all had the set roast dinner which was 19.95 for 2 courses. The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The decor is stunning with flowers everywhere. Would definitely recommend this place, and will certainly go back there

A great place for seafood in Beckenham. We went there based on Google reviews and were not disappointed. We managed to book a table on the same day. We got a nice, secluded table away from the rest of the clients. Our order was large, and we asked for everything to come at once because we wanted to share. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious! We recommend the kings prawns and duck salad.We will definitely go back!

I visit the pearl quite frequently and that is because the food is great the service is excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is brilliant. My kids who are fussy are always catered for and nothing is ever to much if your looking for a lovely meal with or without children with a good atmosphere the pearl is the place to come! Also the roasts on a Sunday are stunning.😁

While I had a delightful experience during my Mother's Day lunch at Pearl, I encountered some difficulties when trying to book a table again. Unfortunately, their booking system appears to be malfunctioning, and despite attempting to reach out via email and phone, I received no response. It's disheartening to see such a lapse in communication, especially when trying to support local businesses. I hope the management at Pearl addresses these issues promptly to ensure a smoother experience for future patrons.

Really tasty food. Had lamb cutlets with a red wine sauce. My partner had the chicken, which, according to him, was the best chicken he had ever had in his life. His words. We had a three course meal, with a drink or two. I'll let you decide if £50 and a bit per person seems reasonable. Staff was also kind and accommodating. Atmosphere and decor makes it an enjoyable experience too.

Food is fantastic. We have visited 3 times and never disappointed. 1 of us loves the steak, 1 of us loves the fish dishes and 1 the complimentary bread & butter. We all have our Pearl favourites. Cocktails are perfect as well as dessert. They are great with children. Staff are unfazed by our loud active 1 year old unlike some local restaurants. Seating is upstairs so something to bear in mind. There is seating downstairs but I haven't seen people eating there on my visits.

The worst meal we've had in years. Starters were just passable, Mussels were tiny, luke warm and accompanied by a strange sweet bread. Fries were ok but obviously frozen. Had a tomato and shallot salad, which consisted of a massive bowl of chopped cheap, orange, underipe tomatoes, and what appeared to be pickled onions. Sea Bass was overcooked and dry. Steak was just ok. NEVER AGAIN

I had an amazing time yesterday. Benjamin really went above and beyond to accommodate 20+ guest and give us part of the restaurant more like private dining , managed to play our choice of music . The waiters especially Arfan, were amazing the ambiance was great , I don’t have any fault I was able to have my own photoBoom & decoration. I’m glad I was able to celebrate my 25th in such an amazing place. Thanks once! Will definitely come back again.

We booked tables for a graduation party of about 15 people and had to change the time twice which they were understanding off. Food was served fairly quickly and it was delicious. We had a cake which they stored, They offered to cut and share the cake for us and happily gave us candles which we had forgotten. The stars however were the waiters, they were absolute gold every single one of them, even the ones that weren't assigned to our tables. I would 100% eat here again and couldn't recommend it more.

The restaurant was booked for a 25th Birthday celebration meal. Planning began three months prior to the event. It was very impressive how Benjamin the restaurant Manager was willing to give time in person, by email or on the phone to ensure that every detail of the organisation was addressed and in place on the night. The waiting staff were helpful, attentive and keen to ensure that everything went smoothly for us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very available to respond to our requests. The restaurant decor with its warm, muted colours is sophisticated and flattering. The curved staircase with its flowers and attractive centrepiece light makes a wonderful backdrop for photographs. The Cocktail Lounge downstairs is a perfect venue to locate to after dinner for more drinks and music. I highly recommend this restaurant for clients of all ages, for a special occasion in particular.

I had an outstanding experience at The Pearl Beckenham. The sea bream was exceptionally tasty, and the overall service was fantastic. A delightful surprise was when my son received a complimentary dessert, which turned out to be delicious. Highly recommended for seafood enthusiasts

Lovely restaurant but was not impressed with the food. The starters were good but the lobster linguine not so much and the steak was over cooked. Cocktails were really good though

We went for bottomless and it was superb. The staff were great and very attentive. The price was also £35 not including service so well worth the money. The food was also the best Turkish food I’d eaten in Beckenham and Hayes.
