We had a few issues on Christmas Day Alex was absolutely lovely sorting out issues and very apologetic. Thankyou your kind manner and empathy was much appreciated.

Disgusting service and will make sure no friends or family come to your establishment ever again you ruined our Christmas now I’ll ruin your life.

Chain steak restaurant but the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Staff were very attentive from when you enter the building to when you leave one ordered the Boxing Day menu and the other off the steak menu

4 of us had an amazing night, great tasting and quality food, service couldn’t have been better being served by Penny and we will be back for our 6 month visit next year !!

Delicious steak dinners Great ambience with lots of bull decorations such as statues and pictures and paintings. Friendly helpful staff (who make me than me) and on time service.

My partner and I popped in for an early dinner and were greeted by the lovely Priscilla who promptly seated us with a smile. Food arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. Priscilla checked back regularly and went out of her way to make conversation. Excellent from start to finish!

Our food was delicious and our waitress, Sylvia, was excellent. My lamb rump was particularly tasty and the portion size was just right (not too big). 4* for atmosphere because at 6.45 there were a lot of families with small children and it was extremely noisy. Most had left by 7.30.

Large family party some from overseas had a get together at Miller & Carter Hockley Heath and we had a fantastic time ! We had a large table in our own space that was a little separated from the rest of the restaurant so we could chat and laugh without upsetting other diners also we had a toddler with us so she was able to walk round the table to say hello to family. Our waitress was Sylvia and she was amazing so warm & friendly chatted with the little one and managed to get everyone’s order correct amongst all the chatter & noise ( there were 14 of us) and it all arrived more or less at the same time so we ate together, and it was hot and delicious plus Sylvia even remembered what most of us had ordered! 10/10 for Sylvia and 5 star for the restaurant I’d definitely recommend Miller & Carter and as a family we’ll definitely go back.

Food has really gone down hill my halloumi start was burnt and also come out with different sauce that to be honest was like soup not sauce theses used to be one of my favourites my main food was cold the chips were cold my onion loaf was cold ot was so underwhelming been coming to miler for years but it is definitely changed and dont think i will be eating there again

Had fillet steak cooked to perfection, was looked after by Sylvia who was very pleasant and helpful, my wife wanted to try the lettuce wedge with the chilli dressing, Sylvia suggested a pot on the side rather than poured over which was perfect, thank you Sylvia for making our stay very enjoyable

Fabulous evening with friends. Our waiter was a saint! So many of us, but the food just kept coming. No waiting and delicious.

Ordered fillet steak and Dirty Burger. Took an hour to arrive. Both were cold. Waitress took some convincing to replace them. She initially said it was because we ordered steak rare 🤣🤣. Not sure why that would make the burger cold. Replacement burger was fine. Replacement steak was cold and awful quality. See photo. That cost £35! Felt like they just threw a crap steak out to the whingers. It had taken so long that we couldn't be bothered complaining again. Got £15 off but not sure that makes up for such poor food. Still cost £70 for a burger, basically.

A birthday treat for my wife and I on her birthday. We had a lovely table for 2 out of the way. Cath our waitress was amazing and made us feel special. We were particularly grateful for the advice she gave with regards to the cooking of the steak. The food was lovely, all cooked exactly how we wanted and delicious. We were able to take our time over each course. Worth every penny.

Sometimes you read a menu and you want them to prove it. I think they under sold this one as the burger was the best I’ve ever eaten and I like burgers! So good, like really good! I deconstructed it as I’m not an animal. Top layers of steak and onion with a side of gravy…lush! Congrats to the chef!

Cath went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time, and her genuine care and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Miller & Carter are incredibly lucky to have someone like Cath on their team. It’s rare to find someone who can turn a great dining experience into a memorable one, and for that reason alone, we will definitely be returning. We visited Miller and carter for a meal and our waitress Sylvia made it that extra bit more special. Sylvia was very accommodating, kind , and helpful. She even pointed us in the right direction on the menu and showed us her favourites which was a lovely touch. Outstanding service, Sylvia made our night!!

We were made to feel very welcome by Nette, who was accompanied with Maz who was learning the floor. They were both very friendly and processional and they made our visit so enjoyable. The food was great. Being a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised by the good choice. I'll be visiting again. :-)

Had a lovely meal here to celebrate my son’s GCSE results. The food was really good and the service was great. Sylvia was our server and she was very sweet and attentive. She even brought my son an extra special dessert which was honestly so lovely of her.
