Miller and Carter in Hillingdon

Hywell provided us an amazing service today and to food was absolutely lovely. I would 💯 % recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our 1st time here. Hywell and staff were great! Food was great! Son, especially enjoyed the desserts!

Jill was an excellent waitress she went above and beyond with the service today. Miller and Carter Ruislip are very lucky to have her.

Booking easy online. Staff very friendly & attentative. Steak selection very good. I had the set lunch menu selections. The starter , main & sweet ( could of had a cheeseboard), were all superb. I give £40 with a drink & a tip. Will return.

Jill was fantastic. So friendly, welcoming & attentive. I had an issue with a bit of plastic in my wedge salad & she apologised & rectified it straight away. She even checked the notes & gave us a birthday dessert for my friend (which is something that was overlooked by another member of staff on a previous visit). Thank you!

Thank you for a lovely lunch, was absolutely gorgeous food! The portion sizes are very generous for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. Also had a stunning bottle of white wine recommended by the lovely Nathan, who really looked after us all afternoon, even when it was very busy. We did have to wait a bit for our bill and extra desert but he was very apologetic and always had service with a smile.

We had the most amazing lunch at Miller &Carter yesterday. We were there to celebrate a birthday and as usual we could not fault it. We chose the venue because we have never had a bad meal there and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the service and waitress Jill were great. Steaks cooked to perfection - never had a bad steak there - and all the trimmings too.

We had a lunch with our relative who is disabled and uses a wheelchair. We were very pleased that there is an access for disabled people. We had a friendly welcome and the service throughout was excellent. We had lunch set menu and meals were very good, delicious and well served. We would like to thank Jill, our waitress, who was very attentive and professional and also the kitchen staff who cooked our meals. Our choices were steaks and salmon. We ordered side dishes with vegetables as well. We finished our meals with cheese plate and coffee. Overall, we had a very good time and would thoroughly recommend.

My partner and I had a great experience here. We had just a starter and a dessert but the waitress Nadine helped with our choices. She even brought out a small sample of the sorbet to double check I'd like it. Lovely staff! Very welcoming restaurant! Definitely recommend!

A lovely lunch out, delicious food for good value and great service from Nadine!

Everything on the menu tastes great except for the steaks which is quite ironic. For the last two visits our steaks were completely overcooked and very tough to chew, something you don’t really expect at a steakhouse that supposedly serves prime beef. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again. We might try a different branch, but seeing as how their meat comes from the same source that probably won’t solve anything.

Great food. Highly recommend the Sticky Chipotle chicken starter. Steak Experience, as usual, was really delicious. Nadine was a fantastic server who went the extra mile!

Second time at this site and first time having the Sunday Sharing Board. Food and service was absolutely superb as I have come to expect from this chain. We would like to thank Jill for looking after us and offering her honest advice when assisting us with the menu.

Have been to miller and carter before so I know what to expect, and this branch offers a very nice service and food. Food was better during my first at this branch, steak was nicely cooked and everything was great. However I visited again with my family for a late Mother’s Day celebration and this time a lot of the steaks were over cooked, not sure if it’s because there were too many steaks to cook for the table so timing is harder, and the crispy onion side wasn’t crispy and wad quite soggy instead. The starters (crispy squid and Pork) were good on the other hand and service was amazing. Desserts were also slightly disappointing especially the white chocolate crème brûlée. Wish they could improve on the desserts

Food was good and the service from Hywell was fast and attentive even considering the fact it was a busy Saturday night. The place could have been cleaner with visible drink splashes dried up the walls around my table. Not something that could have been fixed right away, but should have been addressed with routine cleaning.

We came to the restaurant for food and drinks on a Sunday. We all got the 3 course set menu and it was very good for your money! Amazing food and as it was busy at the time we were there, the food coming out was expected to be a while. However we had a host call Jess who was amazing! She always was asking if we wanted more drinks, serving us with a smile as well as serving several other tables at the same time. She is an asset to this team and her smile went a long way when serving her section.

Came today on 16th march, ordered a roast dinner sharer platter for me and my friend. When you are paying £60 odd for this, I expect my food to be served HOT! Even though it looked absolutely delicious, i’m very disappointed this came out cold/warm. Wasn’t enjoyable and not very happy that no compensation got taken from our bill when complaining to our waitress.
