We had the Sunday Sharing Platter for the first time, from the start Nadine was amazing, looking after our every need and checking in on us. We will definitely be back in the near future

Many apologies, I hadn't finished and got distracted. Even though we had to wait a while for service and the food overall we had a great time. The food wasn't a disappointment x

Haywell was a very nice and patient waiter!

Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation, then waited 50 minutes for food. Food was ok but I don't think its acceptable to be waiting 1hr 20 minutes to eat something.

Lukas was lovely and efficient service, super accommodating and a brilliant server!

After seated and order taken, noone came to check on us for 40mins until I asked for some tap water as the food had not arrived. Another 10 to 15mins before food came. Kids food was warm at best, vege burger not even ok quality and steak was not level expected for the price. Almost felt like we were put in the corner and ignored. Receipt said service not included. Well it definitely felt like it wasn't included. Not sure on the other miller & carter restaurants but I wouldn't recommend this one

I ordered rib eye steak which was very good .my wife ordered ribs she also really enjoyed theml. we both enjoyed our time at miller and carter good value for money. And staff were very helpful and friendly service.

Service from start to finish my daughter asks me to take her to the fancy restaurant and she's made.to feel that way when we go. Didn't even need tje steak knife for our Ribeye.

I had felt that M&C had lost some of its quality in recent years but the last two visits have been nothing short of superb. The steaks have been brilliant - the ribeye in particular delicious. Thanks to Lucas, who provided excellent service this evening. He was very personable, entertaining and knowledgeable when it comes to steak. He is a real credit to the team.

Birthday Celebration meal for a friend, staff very attentive and made a fuss of my friend with candle on her Apple Pie & sang "Happy Birthday". We thoroughly enjoyed our experience from start to finish.

Took an American visitor here this weekend and she absolutely loved the steak ,was blown over by the beef dripping poured over her chips but i couldnt find any explanation for why they serve 1/4 of a lettuce as a starter

Calamari and harissa prawns are a waste of money. There’s nothing in the calamari except batter and the harissa prawns have no flavour considering they are cooked in shells … expensive waste as a starter . In face just have main and skip starters . Atmosphere was soo old stale and boring . Staff were soo old took ages to take an order .

I have been many times to Ruislip branch and l would say on this occasion it was a poor experience with no service at all and took over 45 mins for the lettuce to come which l was surprised as this does not need cooking and then the main courses came 5 mins after. Surely you would want the starter well before the main course. The staff were nice and pleasant when they actually came to attend but honestly l do think the standard of customer experience was not great on this occasion and the filet mignon my daughters had was cold and rubbery which means overcooked and left too long. On this occasion only unfortunately it was poor and must be a "bad day in the office" so to speak. I really hope that these comments are taken as an opportunity to improve as l felt as do all the other customers there did not have the usual experience expected from this branch . Costs are reasonable if the food was good.

Had another superb meal at Miller and Carter in Ruislip. Food excellent & service by Josh and as exceptional, Josh was brilliant throughout the meal and really added to the birthday celebration. Polite, courteous and best service we have had anywhere over the years. Deserves a 10 star for service.

We had a wonderful time at Miller and Carter, today. Clean restaurant, great decor. Excellent service. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Our server Jill couldn't do enough for us. She was lovely. Learning that one of our party had a birthday, she made sure she spoilt him with their plate decorated and a lit candle. We all sang happy birthday and she stayed to take photos for us. Hope to return soon.

We normally go to the Miller & Carter (Leefe Robinson) in Harrow (Stanmore) but thought it would be nice to have a “ change of scenery “ so decided to book a table at the Ruislip location. Our booking was at 1.30 pm and we arrived at c. 1.20 pm and were seated promptly. However, our experience went from bad to worse after that. The server (Nadine) said she would be with us shortly to take our order. Ten minutes later she apologised as she had to check for allergies for another table. Another ten minutes later she said she would be with us soon. Meanwhile, I called the manager over and he took our order. It took about twenty minutes for the starter to come. Once we had finished the starter the server cleared the plates. We then had to wait a further twenty five minutes for our main course. When I challenged the manager about the lengthy wait he apologised and said it was because they were busier than normal. The original server (Nadine) also apologised in a matter of fact manner. Finally, we got our bill at 3.05 pm and left. So it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to order and eat 2 courses. On a positive note, when the food came it was excellent and hot. For future reference we will stick to the Harrow (Stanmore) location.

I’ve been going to this miller and carter for years. It used to be a lot more consistent with the quality of meals however more recently it can be hit and miss. I still enjoy a meal here every now and again but it’s a shame the quality of food and service isn’t consistent.

This was my first visit to any M&C, as I was recommended to come here. Finding a restaurant that serves a decent steak is almost unheard of these days, until today. From the get go, the service was exemplary, food superb and the attention to my nut allergy, absolutely outstanding. The team are a shining example in terms of customer service and the chef and their teams are outstanding. Today I was looked after by Gail and Gerri. The Manager was Victor, and chef was April. I could not give a higher mark for customer service to each of them, and equally to April for making my meal so delicious. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is a steak connoisseur. You won’t get better!

Good food disappointed that person whose birthday it was , was given an empty plate with a candle on it . I think you good have stretched to a small dessert. It was embarrassing to give someone a empty plate

I am a regular goer of miller and carter and I'm sad to say I will not be returning. I visited miller and carter ruislip yesterday evening with my partner. We waited around 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink. The restaurant was not busy so wasn't sure why this took long. Starters came which was good. Then the dreaded mains. My partner got a burger and I myself got the roast chicken. When my dinner came I sliced into the chicken and it was RAW. There was blood dripping out of the chicken onto the plate. I didn't even have to say anything to the waitress I called, she looked at it and knew straight away it was uncooked. Even she said she wouldn't eat that. It then took another half an hour for me to get my food of which my partners sadly had to eat his burger cold. The manager came over and apologised but said the chicken is probed and she didn't really see how this was uncooked. In hindsight I should have taken a photo or asked her to take it out of the bin and bring it back to me and ask her if she would eat it. She gave an explanation which didn't really explain why there was blood on my plate and why my chicken was raw pink. Just sounded like a bunch of excuses to me really. She apologised, and took the burger off the bill and gave us a free drink each which was good however I didn't really feel compensated with the fact that my chicken was served raw, had to wait another half an hour for another dish and my partner sitting there waiting for my food to arrive whilst his was cold. Overall the experience was a joke. The manager came with too many excuses and not enough liability. It's safe to say I will not be visiting miller and carter again. Just to add a side note, the waiter we had was good. Didn't know his name but he cared more than anyone. Thanks for the disaster!

We had a very pleasant young, good looking guy who assisted us. His name is Nathan and he's such a cutie. Highly recommended service. We'll done Nathan. You should be trained to be a manager in the future. Thank you!

The food was excellent, as a non-meat eater i really enjoyed the fish and my husband enjoyed the burger. Jess was our server & was amazing! She was very courteous, friendly and excellent at her job. She also wished us Happy Anniversary throughout the evening and even arranged for our dessert to have Happy Anniversary on the plate, nice touch!

Nadine was friendly and helpful. She brought over anything we wanted or was missing. I’ve based ratings for all our meals and not just mine. Steaks good, chips not as nice as previously eaten. Sad sweet potato fries off the menu. I had a missing ingredient in my meal but that was speedily rectified by Nadine.

Very poor asked for large cola given brown water he said the syrup had run out then why serve it any fool could see it was wrong so barpeople and waiters failed to see it was brown water Ordered a steak well done as the menu sta waiter made a detrimental comment that it would be dry "but give it to her anyway" RUDE Hadji was trying a girl and everything was slow and repeated spoilt the evening completely waste of £62 very poor all round

Came to Miller and Carter Ruislip this afternoon and the food was amazing. My partner and I have come to a number of Miller and Carters and really enjoyed this one. I used get a steak but opted for the lamb today and I am so glad I did. Best dish I have tried. Our server Nadine was absolutely lovely, attentive and couldn't do enough for this. Will be visiting again soon!

Delicious food, good value, great service. A little bit too loud with the music in the background which somewhat affected the atmosphere, but everything else was great.

The food is good. I like coming here but I don’t love it. The service is always absolutely fine, but the place needs a revamp and it is quite expensive. The steak can be a little hit and miss, sometimes really good and sometimes hitting the mark - this time that we came it was great, but served with the onions and random tomato I just think is dated and unnecessary! The pudding is also from the microwave and clearly frozen - this could be much better!

Overcooked and undersized steak. Too much dressing all over the food and cheese over the fillet steak in the salad, which ruined it. Very disappointing.

We had the lovely Charlotte serve us tonight. She was very attentive and an absolute delight 😊 As always the food was lush and our eyes were bigger than our bellys.

It’s not a premier level steakhouse, it’s a chain. The steaks are fairly nice, the issue I have is the number of tables squeezed in really detracts from a relaxed dining experience, making it pretty noisy. The day we went this week it only looked like 2 waiting tables, and I really felt sorry for our waitress constantly apologising for the delays. (That is a management failure). The waitress was lovely, just rushed off her feet, the duty manager looked like she was helping run dishes to tables to help out. It’s a shame as it could be great, just too few servers, serving too many, in cramped conditions. Made it feel like a beefeater at high price. This is our second (and last probably) visit, it just doesn’t cut it as a really good experience.
