Hywell was a fantastic server and the meal was great!!! It was clearly a busy night but he and the rest of the staff were amazing. A fantastic Valentine’s Day!!!

It's been a while since I last dined here, and just like before, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch and wonderfully efficient, and our waitress, Michelle, was equally brilliant. Altogether, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back very soon.

We chose not to read any reviews about this restaurant prior, as we wanted to experience it without any good or bad expectations from other peoples opinions . For our birthdays, we often eat out in Central London and sometimes find the food disappointing. This time, we decided to stay closer to home, and we're really glad we did. This turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had. The food was incredibly tasty. Upon arrival, Nadine who looked after us throughout the evening, was absolutely brilliant, she was patient and welcoming. Always a smile on her face, even though it was extremely busy. Despite how busy Nadine was, she still surprised us with a candle on our dessert and sang us happy birthday.

Mille and Carter Ruislip is an absolute favourite of my family. Every time we come we receive a warm welcome and excellent service. This time we had the wonderful Nadine looking after us. She was super kind and patient with us when our group were taking a while making our decisions. Food as always was excellent!

A terribly slow night, assumed they were understaffed. Arguments between staff, massive waits to be seated and between courses. Food was very good once it arrived

Order3 course meal but sticky toffee pudding never arrived…. Sating next to noise family with 2 toddlers 🤯… left 8% tip still no idea why ? I’m just to soft . Service is not different to Wheterspoon … £110 is not what we expected ( chef is using well To Much salt on chips !!! Wife and me very disappointed cos restaurant was recommended as Top steak house !?

The food was exceptional. Would have liked a chicken burger option. The server, Gail, was extremely nice and polite and very attentive.

Our waitress Jessica was absolutely fantastic - her service was amazing and is a credit to Miller & Carter. Her knowledge of the menu was amazing and she helped us pick the right preference of food that we asked her for advise on. Nothing was too much trouble for Jessica - it was a birthday meal and when we ordered a dessert members of the team came out and sang and made the dessert extra special with Happy Birthday written on the plate which was a lovely touch. Jessica has a wonderful personality and is an absolute credit to Miller & Carter. When we go back we would definitely like to be served by Jessica again.

Jill our server was excellent,second to non .was polite ,attentive,helpful and made us feel special.Have been to miller and carter many times but jill beats all others .very personable and friendly ,considering she was one of only two members of staff on and a packed multi party restaurant in attendance she remained friendly and good humoured -to be highly commended

We were served by Nadine. Who was very kind, helpful and polite. Only problem was tge lighting at our table. Had to use our phone torch to read the menu.

I had a booking for the New Year Evening 2025. My Original booking was for 21:30 hrs, I arrived at 21:27 with my family and waited at reception until 22:00 hrs to be sited, then from 22:00 to 22:35 no one approached us to take our order until I complained to their restaurant manager (Victor) the same person who kept us waiting for 33 minutes standing in front of the reception. Mr. Victor didn't regret or apologize for what happened, clearly he don't care. While I was waiting to be sited, he offered free drinks to the other people in que in front of us but he ignored me with my family as it we don't exist, as well when our turn came to be sited he didn't apologize for the delay or show any care attitude. The order was taken 22:35 hrs and our starter served at 23:00 hrs, main course was served 23:25 hrs, The steak quality was terrible clearly it was cooked long time prior to our arrival, completely useless to complain because Mr. Victor is unapproachable and he don't care , we missed the fire show on River Thames, and our entire New Year Eve was F... up. I will never use this restaurant brand again.

Lovely meal & excellent service

The food was good, pricing was a bit high. What a did not like was that my son has a dairy allergy, when making the booking online I specifically wrote that he had an allergy and if someone could call or contact me prior to our visit that would be great, however no one called. When arriving to the restaurant, we waited a few minutes before anyone attended to us, the service throughout the evening was poor, we were not attended to on a regular basis despite the allergy concerns and communication was not great. Unfortunately, it felt like the waiter was not in the greatest mode. I wouldn't attend again given that my son has a severe allergy and communication is poor, it is too risky for my son.

I must say I do love the steak here, which is served with the wedge salad and onion loaf. Such a hearty and comforting meal. Nice atmosphere too. The service is a bit hit and miss and can be quite slow at times. The food is quite pricey and I tend to only come here if there is an offer

Food is good but service was slow. It wasn't our server Lukas's fault as he was running around doing his best for the other tables in our area. It just looks like this place is short staffed and it seems to be the way every time we've been here. Hire more people please. Food was good but lukewarm.

Please be aware that if you have a nut allergy you cannot eat anything from the grill as they are now using peanut oil . Therefore this is most of the menu choice .

Visited for the first time tonight and had a lovely time. Steaks were perfectly cooked, and sauces were delicious. Prices are on the higher end but portion sizes are generous and the quality is very high. Service is also excellent and attentive. We were served by Nadine tonight who was very helpful and accomodating. The only negative was that it could get a little loud as the tables can be quite close together. Definitely look forward to visiting again though!

We had a really magical experience today(15/12/2024)at Miller and Carter Ruislip. We don’t go to Miller and Carter that often so it is a nice place for an occasional special treat. It has been one of the best and most memorable meals of 2024 I’ve had out. Service: We were served by a very polite member of staff named Nadine. She really made an effort and looked after my Gluten allergy well. She even checked with the Kitchen to see if my Chocolate Shard was Gluten Free. The time to receive the food is not the quickest so this isn’t the best option if you are in a rush but is perfect for a Family or Friend gathering or a meal to compliment a walk at the Lido. Gluten free menu: A huge range,in-fact it pleasantly surprised me how huge the menu was. Miller and Carter have made a vast improvement to it over the years. Food: First class! We could not fault the food that was served to us today,everything I had was absolutely fantastic! It isn’t the cheapest option to eat at but this is for more special occasions and much cheaper than Brown’s up the road. For starters,I had the Baked Cheddar Mushrooms which were delicious and the bread was nice and warm too. For mains,I had the Ultimate Rack of BBQ Ribs which were extremely delicious,tender,succulent,a lovely texture and that tiny bit smoky to add to the taste. These are definitely the best Ribs I have had in London. Also,the portion for the Ribs is massive too,I got 9 Ribs. The Chips were tasty and the Slaw was tasty and fresh. For Dessert I had the Strawberry and Vanilla Bean Ice cream with the Coconut Sorbet and the Dark Chocolate and Gold Chocolate Shard which was delicious and a beautiful way to round off the meal. I had a nice Lemonade too. Atmosphere: Very nice,nice music,three beautiful Christmas Trees. .The toilets and restaurant were clean.

What an amazing experience for dinner at this very suave and sophisticated setting for a restaurant. The seats were super comfy with ample space for the family. Staff were exceptional and food was on point. Quality outstanding!!! Recommend the Fillet Steak, Dirty Burger and Sea Bass for sure. The baked Camembert was divine as was the Mac N Cheese with beef starter.

16oz Ribeye Steak was amazing!! Chilli Prawns amazing! Chicken wings amazing! Pan seared scallops were small and dry other than that,meal was fantastic👌🏼

One of the best places to eat and what great service from a staff dedicated during a busy Christmas season. Shoutout to the server/assistant Jess whom made my dads’ birthday/dinner really special and they also suggested the best starters and mains! Also took my sisters’ allergy needs seriously. What a great place.

Never had a bad steak at this location. Today I had the half roast chicken which was delicious. One of the stand out parts of the Ruislip location is the amazing wait staff; very attentive and personable and a credit to management

Good service and delicious meal

Have used this restaurant on many occasions and enjoyed it but not this last visit. The only available time was 7.15pm which was fine except we waited half an hour to even get drinks. It was chaos in there, the food was going to wrong tables the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing in the lower section. The couple on the next table eventually walked out after waiting too long for their food. We got our main course at about 9.15, 2 hours after we got there. On one of the drinks order I asked for raspberries in my gin which had been in the previous ones and the waiter was so rude and said 'for goodness sake madam'. This was a meal for my birthday which they knew about and it was ruined by this night. Our bill was over £300 so the rude slovakian waiter should rethink his job choice if he's going to be rude to the guests

We were served by a lovely man Hywell who was personal, friendly and remembered the fact that he had served us a year before. When I told him that the meal was for my mum’s birthday, he sang happy birthday to her and made her dessert very special. We really appreciated this! Thank you for a lovely evening!

The food was OK, nothing special. We had a table for ten, and the service was awful. Slow and never ask if we needed more drinks, rather than bringing the food out when ready or asking if we would like it that way. Also, it's rather expensive for what you get. I doubt we will return.

Had a Sunday roast sharer and it’s worth the money. Nadine served us and she was really nice and helpful and made sure we were okey.
