Amazing service, Provided good explanation of which things are where, very polite. Food was a little cold but nothing to bad. The atmosphere was nice but all there really was was chairs and tables nothing special. But I would highly recommend visiting this place for a quick snack of drink. P.S: It's a little overpriced you can get a SM box of chips for 2.30 which isn't ideal. And a single can of Soda is 1.30 so depends what you want really

Possibly the best in Melton Had fish chips and peas off the special menu, it was a good size portion and all freshly cooked. The staff in here are just the best, so friendly and accommodating.

Had the special - fish, chips and peas. Best fish and chips we've had in a long time. The fish was lovely with nice batter, chips and peas also really nice. Freshly prepared nice and hot. Service was welcoming, the lady who served us was friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend and the next time we're here we will definately call again.

Me and my wife popped in after an evening on the town and ordered chips and sausage. The chips were like cardboard and the sausage was inedible. Expensive aswell. Honestly save your money. Poor quality.

The kebab was cold so were the chips and the Doner meat was tough and old

Last week we had cod and chips and it was the best we ever tasted, so repeated it this week and it was horrible. How can you change so drastically in one week?

A bit of a mix. Quick to be delivered and hot to eat. But on the burger no eggs and also very small amount of chips on the deal of the day. Shame as quality was good.

Went in for lunch Saturday 29th June, the place was dirty, tables not clean and it was just a bit run down. The bloke behind the counter seemed a bit confused to be honest and the food was appalling. Absolutely will NOT be going back Ocean Blue is definitely going to remain my go to for a chip shop in Melton

Took a star off because the prices are up and portions down. Otherwise it's a good chippy and hits the spot. Quality, flavour, all good. Just feel a bit cheated when the biggest size chips turn up, after being three times what they used to cost to feed four, and they're not quite enough to feed three. It's the way of the world, sure, but I don't have to like it.

Served by a lovely lady. I had fish & chips on a tray with peas and gravy. The fish was succulent, the batter light and crispy, the chips were perfectly cooked and the peas and gravy were very tasty. Best I've had in a long time.

We asked for Beans and got Curry Sauce. We asked for Salt and vinegar, didn't get that on the large meal either.

Very nice gave extra chips yesterday when I asked out as a good will gesture very happy customer

The absolute best in Melton, open late when everyone else is closed. Chicken tikka made fresh daily, give it a go.

Cold and requested a refund and cause they hadn't marked of it had been delivered I hadn't received the food at that time for it to be cold

Went to millennium for the first time around 8pm ish and first time going there, the man was very polite and funny. I enjoyed a chat with him while I waited for my food. The larger fish was delicious and fried beautifully nice and crispy and the chips were really nice too. He had a large menu to pick from which I thought was awesome. I will be coming back.

Nice chap and the bag was a great touch. The burger (I'm eating now) is lovely. So, one wonderful experience overall. Because I am over hunger to be honest.

Terrible chips the other night, hard and chewy. Battered sausage was horrible also and expensive, avoid this place.

I changed the restaurant I usually order from and I was very pleased with all aspects of their delivery and service and the food is great and lots of choices

Normally it is really nice. I don’t know what the problem wa but the chips weren’t as good and my partner wasn’t a fan of the curry sauce. Was really looking forward to it

Chicken tikka kebab was not chicken tikka, literally the worst takeaway I have ordered, stringy chicken like you'd get in a cheap pie filling food went in the bin. Absolutely disgusting

Chip where soggy, missing salad of 2 items. Didn’t look appreciating at all!

Normally order the tikka wrap from here with no issues but today what on earth has happened. The salad in the wrap consisted of 1 slice tomato and wilted gone of lettuce that was it! The chicken tikka was lovely but had the odd bit of donner in and it was absolutely caked in mayonnaise!

Very nice food , delivered on time , hard to fault that level of service. Will be ordering again very soon.

Always freshly cooked fish to order in an evening. Not the cheapest but my favourite for quality and flavour. I've never been in daytime so cannot comment there.

The food was ok. Real shame that the fish let it down. I usually love millennium fish for how crispy it comes.. todays was very gooey, no crisp. Couldn’t eat the batter.

Guy originally forgot the coke, 20 mins later he comes back and brings it, amazing service

Awful service .. app says we have had it. Rang them to say on the way and still waiting 20 mins later we only live 5 mins away. We normally order from here but will definitely think again.

Food arrived early however was cold and some of the food was mushy. The saveloy was horrid with grissly bits in, but the fish was nice

Chips were cold had to ask for hot one's, tea was poor tasted like earl grey. Not the best experience.

Food arrived on time but cold and the naan bread felt like it hadn't been warmed through and was tough and chewy. Taste was ok though and would have been spot on if hot. Disappointed

Had some amazing food here. Fish and chips better than ever. Today in contrast it was inedible. All went in the bin. And the food order was wrong. So take your chances here which is very disappointing, I won't be back.

Chips where like cardboard, haddock looked like a hybrid between cod and salmon, gravy was like water and a overpowering onion gravy mix also they insist you pay cash then give you some coins in a brown paper bag but actually keep most of tye change for themselves

Amazing fish and chips better than most coastal fish shops. Stopped off in Melton to have a look about and decided to eat there. Glad I did ,friendly staff and top freash fish.

Good takeaway that also has a dining area, so we were able to eat in, on a chilly evening. The owner (?) was lovely, very welcoming. Great fish and chips and my doner kebab was very tasty, especially for being in a naan wrap. It's so tasty that way. Mmmm...

the millennium was the destination for a motorbike chip shop run, on a lovely hot summer evening. having ridden a 70 mile "scenic route" from derby to melton mowbray, we were made very welcome by the shop's owner. the food and service were excellent and the eat-in facilities were comfortable and clean. would definitely go back!

Really good! Eat in or take away. Nice bit of hadock and chips. Lovely.
