KFC Melton Mowbray - Scalford Road in Melton

I placed a order and it's was delivered when I recieved the order it eas cold and the wrong order the food wasn't mine. When contacting them they stated Mt order was still in store so I had someone else . They wasn't able to deliver mi e as they do r have their own drivers . They blamed the driver for taking wrong order when they are clearly the ones who put receipt on thr bags. I then have to wait 7 days for a full refund no fresh or correct order offered shocking service

Ashleigh at Melton KFC provides great service. She’s cheerful, helpful, and always smiles, making every visit a pleasure. I go here almost every day for food, and she’s always happy to serve us with a big smile.

Tonight (10th Mar 25), my wife visited Melton KFC with our two God Children, for a little treat. After ordering 2 x popcorn chicken kids bucket meals, 4 x chicken pieces and 2 x chicken wraps with chips, she arrived home. Once home we found no chips and the chicken was cold. Terrible food and will not be visiting KFC again.

What a let down was for a birthday got 4 drinks wrong chicken missing from mighty box or should I say a bag unhelpful staff not just for us other people was struggling with self screan ordering

About an hour and a half from when it was ordered was quite poor but I do understand that it's Friday and you're probably busy.

Food never arrived, after two hours I had to go down and collect it myself from the store. When I got back the food was all cold. Really disappointed

we ring them to tell them it was let and in the end we have to pick it up. it was an hour and a half let and it was too expensive £62

Absolutely shocking service, the slowest staff in the world. Poor is not the word.

Melton KFC is known for how bad it is and now with the kiosk only order service they’ve stripped the humanity even more from a coorperation that has its employees working in unsafely hot conditions, and sends them home unpaid if they don’t sell enough. Some staff keep this place a float but I usually have bad experiences here, don’t go here or work here and i will never go to another KFC. They want us to pay for delivery than actually serve customers, -5 stars.

Food was great, no issues at all. Fresh and fast. Service was OK, helpful. Toilets let the place down. Urine all over the seat and floor. Rubbish thrown around and minimal toilet paper. There was a wet floor sign as the floor was covered in swill, I struggled to stand properly. For our entire stay the toilet was used by customers but not cleaned by staff. My wife said it stank of stale urine, I wouldn't let my 8 year old son in there alone which is the main reason it bothers me. Children, disabled and old people aren't as independent and will suffer more as a result.

The food was the worst i.ve taken in KFC. It is the dirtiest of all I ve been.

got a call to come out my house to the driver at the end off my drive witch part off this is home delivery if I wanted to come out my house I would of went there myself and not had you to change me for delivery

Took 20 minutes to get my order. Absolute joke of a branch. Too many deliveries being catered for before the actual customers in the shop. The place was a pig stye at mess all over the tables and had not been cleaned it a bit. Either too few staff or not capable to get orders out.

Tastiest KFC I have ever had. Helped that it was cooked fresh.

I was charged for my order, it never arrived even though it said it was delivered, I never received a phone call, I rang the shop and was told it’s not there drivers, I had to ring just eat. Now I have 5 people at home all hungry and have to wait days for a refund and can’t order food again due to my last bit of money. We didn’t even get any details of the delivery driver

The food arrived very late and was cold

Took 2 hours & 5 minutes for the food to arrive from order. Restaurant said it was due to no delivery drivers. Food not great quality chips cold & soggy. Was due out for child’s football training but had to cancel as food took so long. Not impressed sadly at all

Delivery of food kept changing, originally should have been between 17:00-17:15, changed to 17:30 and then 17:30. Finally delivery around 18:00. Chips didn’t seem very fresh - almost cold, no flavour. Added popcorn chicken to my order as it was free….not delivered, would have phoned but not waiting an hour for a box of popcorn to be delivered. Very disappointed this time! Will think twice before ordering again from here…

I am devoted KFC fan I would choose it over any other takeaway but I have lived in melton a for a number of years and I have to say this is the worst KFC on the planet! The service is slow and poor, food quality poor, cleanliness poor, stopped me going, terrible! How hard can it be to fry some chicken!

A zinger stacker meal was missing and I’m waiting for it to be refunded but otherwise everything was good .

It's kfc you know the score fried chicken and the I wish they did mcdonalds fries and kfc would be the bestif they did but they still sell them muddy finger fries because they like losing money

The food was good, but the service super slow..as its a small branch, there are not many staff members, and they seem to focus more on the delivery side than customers who are in the actual shop. Staff members seem to be really young and untrained. Had to wait 25 minutes for 2 mini fillet burgers

8.30pm my partner went in to order his food, hes still waiting nearly 40minutes later, for a walk in, meal for 1 this is appalling.... Ive watched papa jons next door take most of the custom from people who have walked out

if I could give KFC zero stars I would, the delivery time was good , but half the food was missing and KFC wouldn't bring the missing items , I had to contact just eat to get a part refund, looking at other reviews this seems to be a issue for which they should address

Food was never delivered. Rang half an hour after supposed to have been delivered to be told that the Uber driver had returned the food as he’d been told the order had already been delivered. Clearly it had not. We had a friend here with us waiting for food. We had to go to McDonalds drive through as we were so hungry!!!!

Order placed at 18.30 when delivery window was showing as 35-40 minutes. Food arrived at 20.00. They kept changing the expected delivery time as they missed each time. Terrible service

Delivery driver was knocking on my door so hard that I thought he’ll break into! But he also decided to use the door bell too! What an abmysal experience

Went at a normal time wasn't busy, staff were ok but looked clueless at times. Prioritising the bright orange and grey bags for delivery so I had to wait 20 mins for some fresh mini fillets. Only self-service machine was offline.

I went today 27 /03/2024 there to get a big family dinner 10 pieces family meal and mash potato chicken wings and other stuff, when I went home I found out they gave 8 of the 10 checken pieces ( Legs) and only two pieces other parts, and also the checken is not nice at all, when you move the crispy skin of a chicken piece you see uncooked fat under it, it was really disgusting and honestly the mash potato looking horrible and old the chicken wings was just acceptable, all that food worth £40 end up in the bin.

Grotty little shed, unhelpful staff, couldn't taste the coating on my chicken thighs. Won't be returning!

Changed the time, and food is cold

The food has just arrived. It is cold and the chips are not fit to eat due to the rot on them. Absolutely awful. I can it eat. come and take it back and give me a refund.

Very dirty, tables and seats covered in bits. Not clean, toilet also disgusting plus no soap. Fizzy drink unavailable. Worst KFC I've been to.

Fizzy drinks not available. Tables filthy and covered in rubbish. Very long wait. Chicken then so tough could not bite through it. Sadly had already driven away so no chance to return it. I love KFC, so real shame it has put me off ever returning.

I cant comment on the food....they had "run out" of chicken. On a Sunday. Their entire reason for existence...and they had none . In fairness its nothing unusual for Melton Mowbray.

Order on line to collect. Total waste of time as hadn't even bothered to start cooking the order when I arrived.

After my last visit to this branch on June 16th 2023 I certainly won't be returning. Staff (all young lads, where did the ladies in this branch disappear to?) were helping themselves to the popcorn chicken and eating it on the front counter as myself and serveral other customers were waiting for food. One proclaiming himself to be the "king of KFC"?? Calling each other rude boi?? Food was cold & was told I couldn't have my preferred side dish as it too was cold... absolutely abysmal. If this is the direction this branch is headed in then I can't imagine it'll be around much longer. Even the local chavs are choosing McDonalds over this as their usual haunt.

Surprised KFC haven't moved to a bigger premises by now. This is a shoe box KFC. It doesn't represent the KFC brand well, it looks like a run down, unprofessional outfit. One a hot day together with no Aircon, we couldn't wait to get served and get out.

Absolutely amazing service. Walked in after an amazing day for my hen do, ordered and the amazing staff didn't let me pay. Such great service ,topped my day off so so happy thank you so much!!!!! Xxx

Went toilet it was rank complained to staff, few days ater went again omg it was still rank ,absolutely disgusting nearly being sick ,as a visitor to melton Mowbray realy not impressed with that place surly inspectors check the place

Standard kfc nothing to shout about. Its a small site with limited car parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Inside is small with limited spaces to eat.

A very poor experience. The fries from one of the meals had been missed out of the delivery. Furthermore one of the chicken pieces in the Zinger tower burger had a plastic appearance and texture. And no crispy coating.

Always good. Staffs are warm and friendly.

Wasn't the best, A very small kfc, Could smell the filthy toilet from the seating area while eating, loud people shouting while eating, Food was dry and had to ask for sauce, salt, cutlery etc, I would definitely avoid
