8.30pm my partner went in to order his food, hes still waiting nearly 40minutes later, for a walk in, meal for 1 this is appalling.... Ive watched papa jons next door take most of the custom from people who have walked out

I have just ordered for the second time with kfc melton mowbray, there won't be a third time, my order for 9.45 never turned up..now 10 .30 pm. ....this was on just eat. .

Went at a normal time wasn't busy, staff were ok but looked clueless at times. Prioritising the bright orange and grey bags for delivery so I had to wait 20 mins for some fresh mini fillets. Only self-service machine was offline.

I went today 27 /03/2024 there to get a big family dinner 10 pieces family meal and mash potato chicken wings and other stuff, when I went home I found out they gave 8 of the 10 checken pieces ( Legs) and only two pieces other parts, and also the checken is not nice at all, when you move the crispy skin of a chicken piece you see uncooked fat under it, it was really disgusting and honestly the mash potato looking horrible and old the chicken wings was just acceptable, all that food worth £40 end up in the bin.

Grotty little shed, unhelpful staff, couldn't taste the coating on my chicken thighs. Won't be returning!

Best KFC ever. I don't know their secret. Everytime I'm in melton I look forward to this KFC

Very dirty, tables and seats covered in bits. Not clean, toilet also disgusting plus no soap. Fizzy drink unavailable. Worst KFC I've been to.

Fizzy drinks not available. Tables filthy and covered in rubbish. Very long wait. Chicken then so tough could not bite through it. Sadly had already driven away so no chance to return it. I love KFC, so real shame it has put me off ever returning.

Absolutely disgusting please don't eat here I certainly won't be settling foot in there again I think i had half the contents of the fryers and the chicken was dreadful not cooked had a full refund . Not edible, avoid at all cost

I cant comment on the food....they had "run out" of chicken. On a Sunday. Their entire reason for existence...and they had none . In fairness its nothing unusual for Melton Mowbray.

Order on line to collect. Total waste of time as hadn't even bothered to start cooking the order when I arrived.

After my last visit to this branch on June 16th 2023 I certainly won't be returning. Staff (all young lads, where did the ladies in this branch disappear to?) were helping themselves to the popcorn chicken and eating it on the front counter as myself and serveral other customers were waiting for food. One proclaiming himself to be the "king of KFC"?? Calling each other rude boi?? Food was cold & was told I couldn't have my preferred side dish as it too was cold... absolutely abysmal. If this is the direction this branch is headed in then I can't imagine it'll be around much longer. Even the local chavs are choosing McDonalds over this as their usual haunt.

Surprised KFC haven't moved to a bigger premises by now. This is a shoe box KFC. It doesn't represent the KFC brand well, it looks like a run down, unprofessional outfit. One a hot day together with no Aircon, we couldn't wait to get served and get out.

Absolutely amazing service. Walked in after an amazing day for my hen do, ordered and the amazing staff didn't let me pay. Such great service ,topped my day off so so happy thank you so much!!!!! Xxx

Standard kfc nothing to shout about. Its a small site with limited car parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Inside is small with limited spaces to eat.

A very poor experience. The fries from one of the meals had been missed out of the delivery. Furthermore one of the chicken pieces in the Zinger tower burger had a plastic appearance and texture. And no crispy coating.

Always good. Staffs are warm and friendly.

Wasn't the best, A very small kfc, Could smell the filthy toilet from the seating area while eating, loud people shouting while eating, Food was dry and had to ask for sauce, salt, cutlery etc, I would definitely avoid

At its best "finger lickin" chicken promises. Very tasty and looking forward to my next visit.

Staff are very polite, however waiting over 25 minutes for a single small order, tables full of rubbish and no one is in a rush to clean them, and the place is just generally untidy and messy. No clear management or organisation staff seem to just be doing their own thing, and customers are suffering for it. It’s a shame.

Walked in at 19:19, served at 19:29, received food at 19:52 33minutes for a speedy takeaway for 1 person order.

Waiting for two hours now to get the food delivered. No update, no driver. Why offering the service if you always have to wait. We thought we try ordering again, after giving up months ago because in the Melton Mowbray shop it's always the same scenario. Long waiting hours or food missing.

The chashier on the occasion that I attended was super lovely she was so accommodating and helpful! Shout out to ‘Shantai’ (at least that’s what I think her name was)

Nothing wrong with the food but you have to wait longer than expected for a fast food restaurant, people waiting around inside and outside u don't know who's in the Que or who's waiting for their food. Would be a 5* otherewise

Want happy ordered my meal but they over sold the sides I didn't get mine!

Haven't been here for two years but still a small friendly branch. Lots of parking outside. Counter and remote ordering. Sit in or take out. Toilet. Would recommend to anyone needing a good chicken fix in the area.

KFC chain in Leicestershire is bad, but the store from Melton Mowbray is the pleasant exception. I notice that a good Shift Manager built a fantastic team with great result for customers.

Very small restaurant, staff working hard to get food out no gravy though is that the norm I'm from Yorkshire and gravy is a must.

I am not happy with the performance of the KFC staff on the date 5th July 2022 at 4pm, firstly there had been an issue regarding the app and using the barcode with the till which I kept my patience and gave the man at the till the benefit of the doubt as you don’t always get things right the first time, then the team leader came over and looked very miserable, he took my order and they apparently did not let me use a student offer to get a mini fillet burger, where i had been forced to use it on a krushem, not even wanting one. Then the food was ready and i took it and sat down inside with it, the food was not to the best quality and was quite poorly given and thought about as i had been given small wings which were left out for long and i was not happy regarding this, i was left unhappy from this kfc as they have given me poor service and the look of not wanting to work there, as this was my first time visiting this place i suggest using an alternative kfc, or in fact mcdonald’s which is not to far from this kfc. It was my first time at this kfc and it was also the first time where i wanted to leave the store as soon as i could as the levels of this place is miles off ‘good’ and absolutely poor.

Same as every other KFC. Busy at peak times so be prepared to wait a while.

As an Autistic person, I hate visiting this place as the crowdedness within a small space causese high anxiety. Not to mention the food takes forever to serve which causes my anxiety to increase further. The food, however is good. I just really need to get out of there as soon as possible. Also as an Autistic person, some loudness can cause pain or discomfort, such as any high pitched noise or customers shouting etc. Not to mentioned the lack of personal space when people feel too close to me. Also I find the queues confusing and stressful as they mix sometimes.

Not the best KFC to be fair. Sometimes pieces of chicken can be soggy or greasy.

Genuinely the worst KFC in the country, if you like waiting 4 hours to order never mind waiting for the actual food, in a dank greasy restaurant visit here. Terrible Service. Terrible Place. Should be closed down.

Always have to wait ages for your order and portions of chips are so small- no reflective of other KFC restaurant servings.

If I compare this to the Grantham one and it's like chalk and cheese. That KFC is aces, and friendly, and often give extra chicken for no apparent reason. But this is the Melton experience, which I annoyingly go to more regularly. I always use the app to pre-order but always have to wait and often I'm then served after people who came in after me, so I question the point here. OK, they always give a mountain of salt sachets - which is a bonus - but never any mini wipes...

ordered a boneless meal with gravy but they missed of the gravy and that’s the best part so I was very disappointed also the chips were cold

Went into the Branch today with an issue with a previous order. I can honestly say really and truly it was dealt with Professionally and with a Sympathetic Approach By A Gentleman Called Bryan big shout out... Message to the Manager he's an asset to your team... Ordered through uber eats and rang kfc just after 11pm to be told my food wasn't coming nor could I drive down and pick it up myself. Spoken to rudely by the manager. Won't be ordering again from there that is for sure!

They got my order completely wrong. Asked for cheese on my burger which I didn’t get, asked for super charger sauce on my burger which I didn’t get and was given piece chicken instead of 2 wings.

1- explicit and vile behavior to their co workers (the teenagers ) 2- bad at taking orders ( I was suppose to have an 8 pieces of hot wings and I got 7 instead, I also asked for a bottle of Pepsi max, but I got a cup of it instead, we had a bottle for free and gave an apology afterwards. But a tall co worker was bullying the teenager after giving the apology and it was horrendous) 3- bad hygiene and taste of food (chicken was oily)

After being made to wait 15 minutes for my order to be taken, 40 minutes in total to receive my order, I was told I would receive 4 additional pieces of chicken taking my 8 piece boneless banquet up to 12 as compensation for the delay. Upon returning home to dish out my now 12 piece banquet, of which were confirmed by the staff member were in the bag, to my family I was outraged to find not only have they not given me the 4 additionally pieces they'd only put 7 pieces of the original 8 I paid for. Absolutely shocking service

Waited too long for simple order and overcharged which was rectified but service is far to lax and inefficient, food was hot though. Communication is key, smile guys!

Ordered food for delivery well over an hour ago. It said that it would only be 35 minutes. I'll never be ordering again for delivery from Melton Mowbray. What a joke.

Useless, useless, useless rude children running this place. All hav a chip on their shoulder and go slower, if that's possible after complaining after 45minutes. Deliver drivers also say it's the worst they have the misfortune to visit. Awful service,awful overcooked food, awful atmosphere.. go Grantham.

Part of the order missing, called and was told I was welcome to go back for it but they would not deliver. Then offered a voucher code for a free meal next time I go, but it's not free, I'm just getting what I've already paid for.

Had a takeaway there quite a small KFC no drive-through. But the food was cooked to order so it was hot.

Gone 2 kfc my whole life,Not good at all, always had a family bunket £13.99, well 2 day I had 1 and I got 5 chicken pieces, 2 tiny pit's of baked beans,6 bags of chips and coleslaw with pepsi max.which some people would like Pepsi not that and the chicken was a little pink. as that feed my 2 girls,not a family bunket ,Not going there again for sure.

Food is fresh and hot, survive can be a little slow but the restaurant is very clean and modern

Very friendly and great staff here. A bit of banter was well appreciated and I'd say these guys are a good and happy team. The service was pretty slow to be fair but I wasn't in a rush so no worries and keep up the good work!!!
