Lovely little Tea Room by Aysgarth Falls. We had hot tea and coffees and 4 cakes. Really great selection of things on the menu, the afternoon tea looked great value. Nice to visit a well run, well priced cafe that has everything nailed. Worth a stop

This charming little tea shop, adjacent to Aysgarth Falls, is well worth a visit after you have seen the falls.

Duncans Tearoom

14/05/2019: We'd parked and were looking for a cuppa, as you can imagine there's a lot of choice in Richmond.
28/06/2019: A delightful traditional tearoom just off the main square where we called in on a wet day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The tearoom has quite an extensive menu and a nice selection of cakes. Will definitely call in again.

The Wensleydale Heifer Restaurant

10/07/2019: We returned to the Wensleydale Heifer for lunch after a 3-year gap, not sure how it would compare to our happy memories. If anything, it was better than ever! We both went for the fish pie, which was possibly the best we've ever eaten. And I couldn't resist the scrumptious prawn cocktail, an old favourite which didn't disappoint. I must mention the excellent service as well - friendly, competent but never intrusive. If we lived nearer, this would be an oft-visited haunt.
04/03/2019: We had the king prawns with homemade sweet chilli sauce and the lobster and maple salad to start. The rib eye steaks were cooked to perfection and the chocolate fondant was to die for. Service was excellent. Lovely amuse Bouche of salmon mousse and warmed bread and local butter. Breakfast great too. Massive selection of drinks. Highly recommended
