We popped in here for a cream tea. I had a sweet one and my partner had a cheese one. They were both huge and excellent. The cafe is also dog friendly so which is great and Olly could sit next to the heater after being in the water. There is also an ice cream area and a small shop to buy local sweet treats.I would definitely recommend coming here.

Delighted to find this little tea shop open in February, between Storms Ciara and Dennis, we stepped inside to a warm welcome and surprisingly large menu. Wishing we'd not had a big cooked breakfast at our B & B I chose one of the many varieties of loose tea available - a British blend of Cornish (!) and Assam tea while my husband was pleased to find a pot of decaffinated coffee available. I couldn't resist a spicy toasted teacake while we enjoyed reading about the history of the mill on a laminated sheet. The Wifi code was on the table and was fast enough for me to upload the photos I'd taken of the Falls. Prices are extremely reasonable and we wish this lovely little cafe the success it deserves.

Great tea shop - friendly, warm and welcoming and a very good menu for food and drinks. The food is very good quality and the staff are really nice, so it’s a perfect spot to stop and recharge your batteries after pottering around the local waterfalls. Definitely recommend the Welsh Rarebit

Duncans Tearoom

07/03/2020: We stumbled across this tea room on a recent visit to Richmond. The service from start to finish from the young lady and young lad was first class. I went for the bacon & egg sandwich was absolutely lovely & the full English for the Mrs was spot on. The tea for two was more like tea for 6 but again was really good. If you are in Richmond please visit this place. We didn’t get chance but the cakes looked fantastic. Next time perhaps.
06/02/2020: Hadn't booked and so really pleased they could accommodate my daughter and I as we fancied cake and a cuppa. We were made to feel very welcome and ordered a piece of dairy-free chocolate cake and a piece of curd tart. Both were gorgeous, fresh and tasty. Just had to be a great place as we learned that the lady who served us was from Doncaster, our home town. Thank you. We are so glad we chose Duncan's for our treat.

The Wensleydale Heifer Restaurant

20/01/2020: The atmosphere of this restaurant is charming and we really enjoyed our lunch here on a cold blustery winter's day.
