Very very BEAUTIFUL! Such a wonderful place and exceptional scenery! Would definitely be visiting this again!!

Absolutely delicious fresh and homemade afternoon tea for four people. 8 scones, 8 very generous slices of cake and many sandwiches. Clotted cream, jam and even teabags. Highly recommend this tearoom for takeaway and local delivery.

I’m sure she makes lovely cakes, but really not very good at communicating with customers. Contact was entirely through Facebook messenger at the time, but her responses were unclear and not helpful. And far too slow, which meant in the end I couldn’t get the cake in time. Bizarrely she last minute changed the date I agreed to get the cake to the day after, which was no good. And so the order was cancelled

Mill House was a brilliant lockdown find. Afternoon tea was lovely and the cakes and warm brownies are delicious. Will definitely be ordering again and again and have recommended to friends

We collected afternoon tea for VE Day and have previously enjoyed tea and cakes in Emily’s lovely garden in the middle of Wootton village. The tea had a lovely sandwich selection, cakes and scones - plenty of choice and all fresh and tasty. Emily is great - really helpful and will always try and help with any special requests or dietary requirements.

Ordered an afternoon tea at the weekend as a treat and not disappointed was delicious. Selection of sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and a variety of cupcakes and a teabag for my pot of tea. Plus a side of chocolate brownies for the rest of the week. So delighted to have such an amazing business so close and that they are offering delivery and takeout during lockdown. You will not be disappointed with a delivery or visit when back open

I held a surprise afternoon tea for my mum, invited 6 people in total. Me and my friend set up the room prior to the afternoon, Emily was very welcoming. We let ourself in and out whilst setting up, and Emily set the table for us. When our guests arrived they were all welcomed and not long after, Steve (I think that’s his name- I apologise if I’m wrong 🙈) asked what drinks we would like. Fresh tea and coffee and even some juice as requested was bought through. Afternoon tea followed very quickly. The cakes were the best part, lots of them and all very tasty! We had spares and was given bags by Emily and Steve’s son to take them home in. I also ordered a birthday cake for my mum which Emily made and it was delicious! She was also kind enough to lend us a cake container to take the cake home in. Overall, very happy and would return. Excited to come in the summer and sit in the garden with friends and family.

Another friend recommended a visit, the choice of cake was great - we all had something different and loved all of them. Loved the home feeling and the service was great. They offer cake away too so you can pop in to take a slice away

Contacted Emily one evening and she made me a chocolate orange birthday cake for collection the next morning. Fabulous service and the cake was delicious! Will definitely be buying again! Thank you Emily.

Awesome cake awesome family who run this marvellous little tea rooms in the heart of my community. When you are too busy to drop in Emily announces she can now do cake away! I’ve had the pleasure of having these for family over the last few weeks and it’s been awesome. Lovely friendly family run tea room and the cakes are just yummy

I have visted the Mill House 4 times now and each one a different experience all of which were outstanding. First visit was in the summer of 2019 with friends, we sat in the garden and had tea and cake with a jazz player singing to all in the garden. The garden is very relaxing and such a lovely atmosphere. The tea was beautiful using old fashioned tea leaves and the cake was Victoria sponge a perfect afternoon. 2nd visit was afternoon tea in the garden with a friend for her birthday which again was great. 3rd visit was with my children for a Halloween special with hot dogs, games and sweets for the children. Then either soup or chilli and jacket for adults I went with chilli and it was so tasty!! 4th visit was takeaway afternoon tea treat for my mums birthday which went down a treat!! A beautiful hamper filled with sandwiches, scones and handmade cakes there was so much and great choices. You even got the stand and all cultery and a teapot and cups and saucers. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be returning for many more slices of cake 😂🍰😍

Loved the atmosphere of this place and the cakes, home made and some of the best I have ate, oh yes I will be back.

We had afternoon tea for two at Mill House and it was great! Amazing cakes, lovely surroundings and so nice to have somewhere for the kids to play close by! The young man who served us was really great too.

We had the most lovely afternoon tea here! Scrummy sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes and scones with ham and clotted cream ! There was so much cake we had to take some home and the lovely ladies were so welcoming and friendly. It’s like a home from home and we’ll definitely be back! 😍

My daughter and I went here to celebrate her GCSE results. Beautiful garden, relaxing and amazing food especially the cakes. My daughter is very fussy but Emily adapted the afternoon to her liking win-win. Would highly recommend
