I’m not a vegan 🌱 but when I say this vegan tasting menu was delicious — I mean it! 🤤💯 @MildredsRestaurants offers a plant-based dinner tasting menu where you can try the best of their favourite sharing dishes for just £38pp 🍽️✨ . 🌟 Fave dish? The starters selection - vibrant, rich, and full of flavour. We followed with a creamy coconut curry and had to add their famous white chocolate tiramisu 😍 (yes, also plant-based!). . 📍 Mildred’s Soho 🚉 Nearest station: Oxford Circus 💸 £38pp

First time eating vegan food and was massively surprised. The vegan Caesar Salad was incredibly tasty. Great atmosphere and service.

Mildred's never disappoints ❤️ A super-varied menu, all of which is amazing. Good cocktails and wine list. And nice staff!

First time and pure quality, food and service

As a group we have visited Mildred's a number of times, because of the flavoursome food and mostly good environment. Unfortunately our visit to the Soho branch was an uncomfortable experience, with a very pushy waiter trying to 'up sell'. It required polite refusal at least 3 times with alcohol, sides, dessert, coffee. Even having our conversation quite rudely interrupted on the last two items, as time was tight I suppose. We would have adjusted the gratuity percentage on the payment system, but unfortunately that is not an option. We will not be going back and will advise others 'buyers beware' if 'up selling' is now the attitude of Mildred's.

great place! amazing selection of vegan food. everything was flavoursome, cooked to perfection. very friendly service. we were booked in the upstairs cosy room with a great ambiance. would happily go back when in london again.

best vegan restaurant I‘ve ever been

We booked a table for what was supposed to be a cosy Tuesday dinner but turned out to be crammed, noisy, without any privacy and extremely draughty and cold. I had a ear pain by the time we left and a sore throat… We asked several times to have the aircon above us off. I even mentioned that I just recovered from a nasty chest infection. We were reassured that it wasn’t on, yet you could see the plants on the shelves blowing in the wind and everyone was more and more wrapped up… At least have the decency to offer to change us the table.. The fact that the restaurant has two more floors (!), actually quiet and cosy and more intimate, but everyone is cramped into a narrow tube-like room on the ground floor just to speed up the food service and avoid plates going up and down the stairs, that’s cheap and unacceptable. And if that’s the preferred room, then tables shouldn’t be as close together as it wasn’t a big school dinner set up we all signed up to… These attitudes ruin people’s experiences and speak volumes about the ethos of a place, beyond the food which was delicious but it won’t be what I remember about it and surely never return or recommend. What I will remember is how cold I was, how we had to shout to hear ourselves, all the while having to listen to the stories told at the tables next to us since it felt that we were all sitting in each other’s laps..

Absolutely one of the best vegan spots I’ve visited so far! Mildreds Soho exceeded all expectations — from the warm, vibrant atmosphere to the incredible food. The arancini were fabulous — crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy and flavorful on the inside. Every bite was a delight. Freya went above and beyond with her 5 star service. Highly recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans alike. Can’t wait to come back!

2nd time here during our London trip. We love it!

The food was truly a flavor explosion. The quality, portion sizes, presentation, and the harmony of ingredients were simply outstanding. Future meals will have a hard time living up to this experience. We had the hummus, the rice balls, the skewers, and the Sri Lancan curry – each dish was delicious in its own unique way. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the dessert. The only downside was the noise level – it was quite loud, which made conversation a bit difficult. But apart from that, a fantastic dining experience!

Very good food, I enjoyed this vegan experience. Maybe a little too much spicy, but very lovely. Also my drink, the Jalapeno Cucumber Margarita, was very good. I recommend this restaurant if you are in Soho, London.

Great restaurant to have a delicious vegan meal with friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

We went on a Sunday. The mushroom pie was great, but the highly rated khimchi rice was a bit of a let down for my Indian tastebuds. Good ambience and service and large quantities. We ordered 2 mains between two of us and had to pack up half of each.

Ordered a salad for lunch and had an allergic reaction as the ingredients were not labelled properly. Previously happened to a colleague of mine too. Received an apology but that's it. Beware - seems like allergies are not taken seriously here.

Always a favourite place to come for amazing food and great cocktails. The spicy cucumber margarita was delightful.

Really disappointed by the new lunch box system. Doesn’t seem thought out at all. Fifth person to order and I was standing in the street for 40 mins waiting for what was meant to a be a quick lunch order. If you want mildreds go in and sit down, you’ll be served and eating before the collection people are halfway through their wait

A lovely place for a meal. I went with a group of friends for dinner before a show. The staff were very positive and friendly, the place itself was charming and pleasant, and the food was lovely. Our server was able to recommend a couple of dishes and we all enjoyed everything we had. The fact that everything was vegan was a definite bonus, as it meant there were a lot of options for everyone's tastes.

The loveliest hidden gem! With the most amazing Sticky Toffee Pudding! Highly recommend

Great food, great ambience & great staff

This is our first visit to the Soho restaurant since their refit and it looks great. As always the food was excellent, the mushroom and ale pie was so tasty, the puff pastry lid so flaky and light. Delicious. One slight blip was the young lady who brought our coffee. I asked her for sugar, she said she would bring some but never came back!! I asked another gentleman and he explained they didn't have sugar, it would be agave, which was not an issue. Maybe she didn't know this and thought we might forget we wanted sugar if she didn't come back, but not a great way to treat customers. Everyone else was fantastic though. Maybe she should find another line of work so she doesn't let them down again 🤔

Amazing Sunday lunch. So tasty and worth every penny.

The place was absolutely PACKED, I had 2 bags with me and my mum had one and we had to rest our feet on them so people wouldn’t trip when walking past our table. Far too many tables in such a small space which meant it wasn't just cramped but also deafeningly loud. It was so dark that even young people were using torches to read the menus. The chips were delicious but I tried 2 of their meat alternatives and both were tasteless and chewy although their vegetables were cooked well.

Went on May 9 2025, 9pm. All of the staff generally seemed very inexperienced, sometimes bordering on rude. For example, we asked for some side plates and the waiter gave us ones that were wet. He knew it was and but it needed me to point this out for him to immediately change it. Our waitress was rude and shrugged when we asked about our mains. We waited for a long time for our starters/ small plates which arrived stone cold. Since we didn’t want to wait even longer, we ate it (was delicious but cold). I informed the manager the starters were cold and would like to ensure our mains were not. He said yes and when it did arrive one was OK and the other lukewarm-cold. However, the manager did take our feedback and fixed our bill - for which we were very grateful for. Until they sort out the service and food temperature issue, it a bit hard to recommend.

Fabulous food whether you are vegan or not!

Fabulous food served quick. The Kimchi Boukimbop was amazing and the white chocolate tiramisu was next level!

A little noisy/a lot of conversations in a smaller room, but solid food and AC on 19c 👌 (also appears to be busier than usual so maybe it's quieter other days?)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mildreads and I can confidently say it was one of the best vegan experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food they were serving. They took the time to explain ingredients, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured our dietary needs were fully accommodated. Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a burst of creativity and flavor. The starter, a roasted beet carpaccio with cashew cheese, was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. For the main course, I had a wild mushroom risotto that was creamy, rich, and deeply satisfying without feeling heavy. And dessert? A decadent tiramisu cake that left me speechless. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the freshness of the ingredients. Nothing felt processed or artificial—it was plant-based dining elevated to an art form. Whether you’re vegan or just curious, this restaurant proves that cruelty-free cuisine can be both indulgent and inspiring. I’ll absolutely be back—and I’ll be bringing friends.

First time at Mildred's. Went to the Soho branch and was pleasantly surprised. The tasting menu is decent and prices are very reasonable. Though there is no logic in the choice of starter dishes, they are tasty. More.bread is recommended for the amount of dips offered. Make sure to try the creme brulee. Service is attentive and courteous. The staff don't take discretionary service charge for granted and work hard for it. Will be coming back many more times to try all the dishes on the menu. Unlike some other vegan places, this chain serves rather healthy food which is not swimming in oil and salt. My palette was very pleased. Thank you.

STUNNING! Exquisite food, wonderful service by Freya, gorgeous place with a chilled atmosphere and lots of plants. I was impressed with the allergy awareness and pleased there were a few Gluten Free options. I will 100% be returning. Only minor point is that it would be better to have GF written on the menus (rather than G (which is confusing) on the online only).

Excellent vegetarian restaurant! We took the dinner menu for £32, very affordable considering the quality and generosity of the dishes! We enjoyed ourselves, it was quite generous.

Never a disappointment - as a vegan, it is just wonderful to come to a restaurant and know there will be a plethora of options to choose from, and all of them tasty!

On a super hot day they treated us super well, the food was delicious, I recommend the mushroom pie!

The best vegan restaurant! Today we had the "chicken" and leek Sunday roast with trimmings. Cannot adequately describe just how delicious everything was. Service lovely, as well. We were a bit early for our booking, but staff gladly seated us straight away. My only regret was not saving room for dessert, but that will just be motivation to return another day. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible food, one of the highlights of making the trip down to London from Nottingham - the chick+n was bordering on a life changing experience. We’re here for 4 days, will probably be back every single one of those!

Been to Mildred’s SoHo three times with people who are vegetarians and have always been delighted by the food. Excellent service- our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Drinks came promptly. I knew my burger was going to be good because my son (who loves his chicken!) actually had this a while ago and said it was not bad at all. The cauliflower was interesting - wasabi not too overpowering . The sri Lankan curry was probably the only thing that was underwhelming but the person who ate it loved every aspect of it. All in all a definite winner for vegetarians especially from India who would otherwise eat in an Indian restaurant with the usual veggie suspects!

I had the Korean burger and it was really tasty had a lot of flavour service was 10 out of 10 the staff really care would definitely come back again

A lovely restaurant but our experience was marred by stale foccacia and inconsistent service, however the rest of the food was tasty. We tried to pass on some honest feed back but felt unheard. We adore Mallows and really wanted Mildred's Soho to provide the same experience but unfortunately that was not the case. Hopefully, our experience was just a one off so we will return and try there again.
