Milans Dhosa Express in Leicester

I buy gujrati thali they miss items and they send me I wetting but they not send and not giving request don't buy gujrati thali with them . They rubbish service. Customers service not good.

You can imagine through the picture what we got when we opened the box. Food is too bad and they just put chilli powder all over the food . I am too much upset.

Look at the size of dosa which they given for 5 pounds. Pathetic. Cheating.

Ordered via uber eats, I had to ring up to tell the lady to accept the order. When it arrived it was cold, and my masala dhosa was missing. I rang up and the lady was extremely rude telling me Im lying and she packed it. I told her that we are loyal customers we come atleast once a week and lots of my friends do too why would I ring up to complain about a dhosa!! She said its her problem. Asked to speak to a manager but she said well he's not going to be available. I dont think we will be returning to milans after that shocking phone call, really dissapointed.

Chill paneer/Noodles 10/10 👌, always loved the samosas, but recently the Peas for the last few years have been uncooked and hard. Let's get back to being the best sort these hard green peas out Boss.

We used Milan’s for catering at my son’s birthday party. Jaimin was great to deal with and very accommodating with our requests. On the day, they had the food ready and hot for when we needed it, and it tasted delicious. Price was competitive, especially as we wanted some of the items to be cooked on site. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Ordered via Über let’s me order Chinese spring rolls but ended up with paneer ones. This is third time this has happened so called store to complain manager was not in today so requested call back tomorrow Lady in shop told me they do not have Chinese spring rolls so why is their online ordering site not updated Also got my house number wrong so delivery driver had to ring me

Good food- good variety of curries. Only gripe as a matter of principle is the 10 pence carrier bag charge. Whilst it may be legal, most take aways don't charge. With respect, one can't be expected to carry a curries in the hand! Otherwise, all great

We get our thalis for our meals on wheels business from this amazing place. Authentic, home style cooked Gujarati full vegetarian food. Try the Pau bhaji...it's amazing!

Food was okay - we ordered Pau bhaji was good Papdi chat- forgot to put sweet chutney Pakora - ok Sev puri was rubbish Masala dosa - okay Ladoo - nice Mathi - stinky oil, really awful Service very slow

Accidentally me and my wife landed in Milans Dhosa Express for a change my wife want to eat Indian food (veg) some of her freinds suggest Radha's thali we went Radha at 6:30pm asking thali but they say kitchen is closed May be they doesn't want to serve us (because my wife has hizab on back home indian mentality of Hindu-muslim I felt that's way) we want oposit of road and ask for thali the Yong lady (don't know her name)was working explain us every thing very nice because we don't know what food is test like she explained in detail and serve with a smile on her face food is good we enjoyed it we will visit them again worth for money I recommend this takeaway for vegetarian food and their hospitality Parking is a Problem in this area

Poor service and food was cold. Went to buy a dosa and a thali. The curry served in the thali was cold, rice was cold they gave me roti when i ordered bature. Had to warm up all the food at home. The dosa was too salty. Will never go to this place ever again

Service was okay the taste of food leaves lot to be desired

I visited here with my girlfriend and bought a couple of savoury snacks, an atom bomb and a stuffed chilli. They both have immense flavour and were different from the ones I’ve tried before. Their curries look great and I look forward to coming back, when we can sit in, and order some dosas. The service was friendly and the food is nice and incredibly cheap!

Extremely extensive range of pre prepared vegetarian curries on offer. Good quality. Limited sweet offering. Road works mean parking is difficult.

good food but when i bought pani puri twice i did not get as specified . it was supposed to be sweet water separate from spicy water. twice i bought although complained about it they served the spicy water mixed with sweet. it supposed to be spicy water without sweetness on its own container. Disappointed and have complained again.

Fast service, nice food and reasonable prices

I ordered a masala dhosa, paneer spring rolls, pau bhaji, mild hakka noodles. I have to say their masala dhosa & pau bhaji is the best I've ever had it's so tasty and flavoursome, the spring rolls amazing as we're the hakka noodles. I will definitely be ordering again now even more so because they are on uber eats which is dangerous for me..

Delicious Indian Food on the go.

I felt the dosa was a little over cooked and Luke warm, the sambar was like warm too. Sweet and sour paneer was very much sour. I preferred Milan’s on east park road dosa to be honest....

This is a very authentic vegetarian take away place.They make fresh vegetarian food daily fresh. The counter staff are excellent. A very good choice of food at reasonable price. Worth visiting. I give👍.well done keep it up.

Good Food, friendly service, well priced, chapatis are freshly cooked and thepla are good. Unfortunately customers don't do social distancing and shop doesn't seem to encourage it either.

Ordered a quantity of fried samosas. Specified a time and they were ready on the dot. Delivered by the shop at the stated time. Tasted great and everyone loved them. Communication and ordering was easy - even by email.

Having been in the Asian wedding industry for about 18 years, I would recommend Milans dhosa express as the no1 vegetarian caterer in leicester - possibly even the best nationwide! Overwhelming food and customer service And the take-away shop is also fantastic with a mouthwatering menu & selection It's a must when your peckish!

Bought kadhi from this place smelt disgusting! Tried speaking to a staff, who weren't very helpful and said there was nothing wrong with the kadhi!

Nice takeaway place Dhosa, Noodle, curries, snack and sweets for every one taste. Speacial deals on certain day nice place to fall back on when you are late home from work not expensive

This place is not the best place for snacks and stuff. When they opened first time one of my friend found nail in the food. I have never seen this place much busy.

Milans Dhosa Express is one of Leicester's brilliant Indian Vegetarian takeaways. Strictly speaking it's a sweet mart as it doesn't do the traditional 'English' currys so beloved of those who have never eaten great Indian food. It is an unimposing shop front, but inside there is a wide range of fantastic vegetarian food. The Thalis are very reasonably priced and provide a really filling meal. There is also a range of currys, bhajis and samosas to be had. Milans samosas and batata wada are the best in the world. This is my all time great Indian, well, perhaps, Leicester Sweet Mart on Evington Road is up there with Milans. So for great Indian Vegetarian food give Milans a try. It's open until 9.00pm all week.
