Slow service. Ridiculous high prices. Used to be good, now they have just gotten greedy.

A lovely confectionery run by honest simple sweet and respectful people grounded in their roots and the taste was authentic and organic. Great discovery for us lovers of Indian and Pakistani sweets and confectionary better than most other places claiming to be traditional. Well done and keep it up.

Food is great ,sometimes wait times can be long if the place is busy otherwise delicious food worth the wait 😊 went there today wasn't busy and got served quickly and food is still great as usual ☺️

Hands down the best samosas I’ve ever had! I also love the pani puri here and the katchori. The chutney is super unique and I’ve never tried any chutney that can top this one. The chevda and sweets are also to die for. The only negative is that the shop is VERY small and when it gets busy it can get very PACKED. However, it’s a dinky little shop that has run well for years and years. A true gem.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this shop. The owner was extremely rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. Despite clearly informing them about my allergy, they still gave me a product containing the allergen. When I brought this to their attention, they showed no concern and did not offer any apology or solution. This level of negligence and lack of customer care is unacceptable. I strongly advise against visiting this shop, especially if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Even though I live in a different city I travel to Leicester just to get my indian snacks from this place, this place is top tier if you wish to indulge in the indian/kenyan style snacks. Would also like to shout out the staff are incredible and polite every time I go.

Really disappointed with the order and the customer service. I placed a Collection order as a Christmas lunch for everyone at work around 1:30pm went to pick up at 3pm they said it’s a just eats order they will deliver it even asking them several times to give us the order. So we came back home just to find out that the order was for collection so went back there to pick it up around 5pm by the time we got back all our staff had already left so had to keep the food for next day and the work wasn’t great as they delayed it for so long that we had to have it the day after.

Poor quality food not a single pepper I had to add more peppers to it. Whole point of chilli paneer is to have peppers.

We always buy our samosas from milans. It's our treat when we get our cars fixed.

App said it had arrived but nothing, takeaway confirmed it was picked up. Normally I get a call to confirm location. Not this time. So either the delivery person ate it or they gave it to some random person on the street.. I'm still hungry but shall not use this service again..

No opening or closing statement from staff. Staff kept speaking amongst the self and I felt ignored. Buy if you want or get going is how I felt.

09/08/3023..received appalling services today..there were people waiting outside cheesed off as a result of just one staff serving who was stressed out with not getting help, while the other staff were busy doing nothing inside. Had to walk out after half hour without buying anything. Totally rubbish.

I ordered nearly £60 worth food ..Currys,chapati and thepla plus some other items ! When opened the bag..1 box of curry lid was opened, others were leaking. So roti and thepla got soaked wet..in gravy and oil . Had to throw away ! All the boxes were so oily! Ordered Family pack of panipuri...So much little quantity of mint water n stuffing according to price for pack. Very disappointed! Packing is aweful!

Loved this place, I'm from Yorkshire and always go to snack places when in Leicester. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was warm and bright and the girls serving were lovely too. This is one place I will be visiting again.

I made a very large order from this establishment. Along with this order I also added a large portion of 40 pieces of pani puri which cost an additional £10. When I received the order I was super excited as I have been craving for pani puri. How disappointing, it was stale and disgusting. It was not edible and I had to throw it in the bin. What a waste of money. So annoyed. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here ever again.

Food is always fresh and authentic, however their prices are going up every few weeks I been.

Small shop with good selection of Indian sweets. You have to spend minimum £5.00 so you can pay by card. This is really disappointing. I understand there’s a transaction cost but why do small local shops not charge but this shop does. That’s the shops cost, not the customers. Service is slow and the ladies who work there don’t seem to understand English too well. Be careful as people can push into the line whilst your weight. No parking near the shop, have to park streets away. A lot of the fried food is very oily and have to leave things on a tissue before eating them. The Indian sweets are well made and taste good. That’s the only good thing I can say about this place.

Everything came out great I love it

I went into the Leicester Store and was very disappointed by the staff as they never accepted my Scottish Notes. Scottish Notes are legal tender and I am fed up by the English stores not accepting our notes. I came to Leicester on holiday and was buying sweets to take back with me. Not happy.

Average. Used to be the No1 sweet and savoury shop in leicester for years and years and years growing up. Things change. Its just OK now.

Brought pani puri with mint water and fillings. No onions was givan, potatoes and channa was frozen. Mint water was cold frozen out of freezer. Not home made pani puri was factory made. Only thing was good about panu puri was the sev. Not going this place ever again, thank you

Online menu lists paratha, rang them to confirm, guy took the order and asked to pick up 20 mins later, drove all the way there to find out they don't do paratha wasting my time.

Milan's is always busy and for good reason. The savouries are delicious and always served with generous amounts of chutney. Only down side...real issues with parking in such a built up area.

Went here today a friend swares they have the best samosas ever. I bought 10 pieces at 55 pence each uncooked came with red chutni. Aunty told me they don't do green anymore. Good service short waiting time reasonable price. I personally found the samosas tasteless the filling was potato onion carrot green peas no salt no masala no chilli powder . Maybe they forgot or this could be standard. Many thanks
