The pizzas were soggy and greasy and staff rude. Put on a time limit and was reminded 3 times. No time for coffee or dessert.

Visited this restaurant with my mum on 11/7/ 24 ,before seeing Miriam margolyes at the mayflower . Service to start with was good mum had spaghetti bolognaise and I had tag carbonara which was lovely however we where in the corner and we felt invisible as took ages to clear our plates and took ages to get our pudding order the pudding for what they charged £6.50 where small tiramisu three mouthfuls and it’s gone I had a lemon sorbet very sharp . When we booked as saw it on Facebook looked at menu looked nice no mention of service charge . I don’t agree with paying 20 percent service charge if I get a good service then yes if not then I won’t pay a service charge are businesses allow to do this ?, isn’t it up to the customer to pay a tip . Food main was good the waitress who welcomed us was welcoming and friendly and showed concerned for my mum who was injured and walking on a stick . The male waiter was a bit abrupt and slow with coming to our table to clear it and take our pudding order.

Went 11/7 before Miriam Margolyes at the Mayflower. Prebooked but not been before. Seated quickly, orders taken with lovely male waiter. Food was beautiful- tasty, hot, good value in city centre and location to major theatre. Loved it, all the staff are super friendly and efficient on a very busy early evening- thank you..

Great service, Great food, all fantastic, Not a criticism of the food but I went for lasagne and all though lovely the portion size was a little dissapointing.. compared to the other meals we ordered, but apart from that 5*

Visited the Mayflower Theatre for a matinee performance and had a table reserved here afterwards. We were seated immediately and service was very attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return.

Brilliant food, great service. Ideal for lunch before the theatre. Reccomemd the carbonara and caprese salad. Gluten free options available for pasta dishes

Unfortunately they cannot cope on busy nights, food was warm and staff panicked. It took over 3/4 of a hour to get food

We chose the restaurant as it is near the theatre and we wanted a meal before the show The pizzas were excellent and good value for money We would certainly use the restaurant on next theatre visit

Don't even bother to open the door if your vegan, 1 plain ole pasta dish, a salad and bread starter with salsa. Looked blank when I asked for a vegan list.

On arrival we were shown to a table by very friendy staff. Eventually our order was taken and a long time later the food was served. Sadly the food was a disappointment and not of the standard we have had in the past

First class service, great food, lovely ambience. Went to this place at the last minute Saturday night before seeing a show next door. Even though they were very busy they accommodated us. Meal was lovely and came out very fast. Highly recommended.

Pre theatre dinner visit. Staff were friendly, good choice of wine and drinks, food menu was limited but had enough to satisfy everyone. Pizza and pasta ordered across the table. Everything beautifully cooked and flavoured. Clean restaurant - highly recommend

Went to this restaurant before going to panto. What a treat. The quality of the food was superb. The menu wasn’t vast which is perfect. Less is more. I would strongly recommend going there. Service was great and the staff were very passionate. Good value for money.

I gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt after having a pretty awful dinner there pre theatre last year. I’d had the prawn pasta which was basically about 3 prawns in a huge bowl of tasteless pasta. I ate there again last night and it was just as poor, sadly. I had the courgette, tomato and pesto pasta but there is really no excuse in an Italian restaurant to use pesto that was so obviously from a jar. It was expensive and the only thing going for this restaurant is it’s proximity to the Mayflower Theatre. As we passed the little noodle shop next door, we wished we had gone there!

A mid week theatre trip started off by a meal at this lovely restaurant.... We declined the starters and went straight for a main course my companion had spaghetti carbonara and I had spaghetti gamberi both arrived quite quickly and were piping hot . Both meals were very good . We also had a pudding I had a tiramisu which was excellent and the person with me had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream which he enjoyed . Washed down with a couple of large glasses of house red and coke for the driver . On the whole a very pleasant experience . Staff were friendly & helpful .

Went into this restaurant for the 1st time tonight. Server came over and asked if we wanted drinks. My wife clearly ordered a half pint of shandy. A pint came along. When I said my wife only ordered a half the server just laughed and ‘waved’ it away whilst saying sorry. I ordered pizza which was very greasy and could only eat half. Then the bill was put on the table with my wife still having half her pint left. I said to the server ‘will my wife have time to finish her drink’ then explained how unprofessional it is to bring the bill out like that and she replied that she was told we had asked for it. This is a complete lie as she was the only member of staff who was in the seating area for the time we were there. Will not be going back again which is a shame as the restaurant is clean and modern and the toilets were very good.

We have used the previous restaurant (Casa Italia) which was a buffet style restaurant which is perfect for group bookings, as I was the one booking for 16 people I was concerned that they wouldn’t be able to please everybody. I needn’t have worried we all ate different things and we all enjoyed our meals., I chose the lamb shank which was delicious. As this restaurant is next to the Mayflower most of the customers are going to see a show so timings are important, they catered to our large group really well. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a very pleasant evening in this Italian restaurant - the food was tasty, excellent value and well presented. The staff were efficient and extremely attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would thoroughly recommend it for a enjoyable meal, perhaps before a visit to the Mayflower theatre. We will certainly go again.

Newly opened restaurant in Southampton so visited for the first time. I had the mixed seafood starter as a main with french fries and a side salad. It was excellent; beautifully cooked, well presented, and delicious. The staff were very kind and efficient too. Will definitely visit again.
