Comí aquí con mi esposa y mis dos hijas en un sábado lluvioso y húmedo. Pedimos comida y llegó 6 minutos más tarde. Las comidas de los niños tenían una buena relación calidad-precio y las disfrutaron.Pedí la chuleta de cerdo a la milanesa y era una pieza muy pequeña de cerdo frito y seco. ¡Había un poquito de ensalada de rúcula y me fui con hambre!Mi esposa tenía la hamburguesa vegana y que estaba bien.Teníamos una tarjeta de prueba donde podíamos tener 241 en la red eléctrica y la camarera dijo que no podíamos usarla, le preguntamos por qué, ya que la aplicación nos dijo que podíamos usarla un sábado, dijo que su gerente no había dicho descuentos este fin de semana. Pagamos la factura completa y nos fuimos.Nuestro camarero fue genial y muy atento toda la noche.

We visited this restaurant when staying in Southampton The food was very tasty and service was friendly and efficient.

This venue was very convenient for us having walked over from our hotel at the West Quay nearby to visit the Odeon cinema , there wasnt too many people in and this made it fairly cosy , the bench seats were a bit of a squeeze to get into but once seated the table had plenty of room to dine in comfort. The experienced female waiting on us made our evening really as she was very attentive and the food arrived in perfect time spacings to allow each course to go down. We wanted for nothing and the quality was very good , prices were fair too . A decent menu on offer although it could do with a revision but we enjoyed our time here very much . Plenty of flavour with all our choices and reasonable portions too.

Tengo que decir en primer lugar, la camarera era servicial y agradable. Hamburguesa clásica de pollo estaba bien. La brusetta de champiñones fue horrible, salió muy verde y con una piedra fría. La pizza estaba poco hecha. En general, podríamos haber tenido una mejor comida en Macdonalds al otro lado de la carretera. Normalmente está bien, pero lamentablemente no está a la altura hoy

Frankies offer now a vegan range. I was really pleased with the choice and although not all iteams were available but I was advised in advanced so no disapoinmet caused. Mac no cheese was a treat! I was able to have a vegan coffee as well.Ellie was a great advocate for all the vegan options.

Visited the restaurant for pre-movie meal. We used meerkat meals which made the food very good value. Great attentive service from ever-smiling Kasia. We had a minor issue with our bill, which was deal with very efficiently and courteously by on duty manager Monika. We will be coming back.

Visité Frankie y Bennys en Southampton en agosto con mi compañero y me horroricé por completo con el comportamiento y la conducta de uno de los miembros del personal. Una camarera llamada "Olga" con trenzas y gafas tejidas. Cuando llegamos, no teníamos una reserva y parece que el restaurante parecía bastante concurrido y nadie vino a sentarnos en la entrada, nos dirigimos al bar y pedimos bebidas. Luego señalamos sobre una camarera a nuestra mesa que nos acomodó en una zona fría en el restaurante, así que le pedimos que se mude. Cuando pedimos nuestra comida, se olvidó de nuestras bebidas, y no había otra camarera, así que pedimos otra vez en el bar y volvimos a tomar nuestras bebidas a la mesa, que estaba a la vista del bar. La comida era deliciosa y aunque el servicio era pobre, no nos molestó demasiado y quedamos muy satisfechos con el nivel de la comida. Después de nuestra comida le preguntamos a la misma camarera por la factura y ella parecía tener un problema real con esto como si alguien le hubiera molestado. Ignoré esto sobre la base de que ella pudo haber estado un poco estresada por el trabajo. Luego vino pisando fuerte a la mesa y le mencioné (como lo había hecho al comienzo de la comida) que tenía un cupón del 40%, que había recibido en un correo electrónico como parte de una oferta. Esto nuevamente causó su agravación y regresó a la cabina de pago murmurando en voz baja. Cuando volvió a la mesa, preguntó si todavía habíamos pagado nuestras bebidas, a lo que honestamente respondimos que no. "No solo eso, ¡me dijeron que se había portado similitud la noche antes de servir una mesa de 11! Estaba horrorizado por esto. Esta camarera en particular no debería estar sirviendo al público, y mucho menos comportándose así. Ella fue agresiva y grosera y arruinó por completo nuestra noche por nada. . . 2 semanas después de haber presentado una queja y todavía no hay respuesta, entonces estoy esperando que se lo comunique al director. No puedo creer que un establecimiento así no pueda siquiera molestarse en responder a una queja

Prompt service & good hot food, always available with a voucher too 👍🏻 Good range of options for veggies etc, and staff willing to help with any questions, even if they didn’t know the sender straight away. Waiter Thomasz easy on the eye 👍🏻😏

Food took longer than it should for chips and a bbq wrap. I paid £12, however a KFC £1.50 wrap would have tasted better, and I could have got way more of those.

Ate here with my son. Not only is it expensive for what it is the food was awful we had the burger special it was a greasy gristlely mess on soggy bread. So bad we both left all but a bite.

Atmosphere amazing. Great food. Great people. Always willing to go the extra mile. Keep up he good work!!!

Brilliant customer service. I came here for the breakfast. Me and my wife were the only two there and the coming was slow for the unlimited breakfast taking we were the only two there. I think the unlimited is only a ploy and they only want you to have certain amount. I do hope this speeds up in future.

Waited to be seated - not even a thanks for waiting or any eye contact. Server was just dressed in “lazy day” clothes the menus looked awful nothing special. Gone really down here didn’t even want to spend my menu. Walked across to TGI Friday and got a completely different experience

Visited this place for breakfast again, was seated immediately, waitress was very good and really looked after us. Breakfast foods were delicious as usual. Can not fault this place. It's a solid choice for breakfast

We visited here on a cold Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy but not packed. The menu is good - lots of options and something to please everyone. I had the BBQ chicken and cheese wraps which were very tasty and my partner had the New York BBQ chicken and chips which he also enjoyed. The waiter who served us was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Service as a whole was very good. We also enjoyed desserts here - my partner had peanut butter cheesecake which he said was delicious and I had the vanilla cheesecake which was very yummy! Overall, the food quality was of a good standard and we enjoyed our meal very much.

Had a really nice evening at franky and bennys, mainly thanks to the great food but the staff also made sure nothing was too much trouble. We had starters and mains; the meatball starter I would highly recommend. Can’t remember what the Italian name for the main was but the chicken with the pasta was cooked really nicely, not too dry. Would have preferred more sauce though. All in all, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a nice meal here on a busy Saturday night.we both had half chicken and half rack of ribs no complaints from us.it was busy and we had not booked a table so we waited about 15 mins.No problem just got drink from bar

Reservamos una mesa en línea para las 9 am desayuno para empezar a celebrar nuestro aniversario de boda. A nuestra llegada, el restaurante estaba cerrado. Llamamos y oí que sonaba dentro. Finalmente un hombre contestaba e informó ustheydidnt abierto hasta las 10 de la mañana. Cuando mencioné la reserva mesa en línea él dijo Ah, no hemos actualizado el sitio web. Muy pobre. Si quieres el desayuno en Southampton, Mettricks es genial! Y abierto. Dos puntos donde frankie y bennys supera fácilmente.

Me sirven bolas de piedra frío de carne. Cuando llamé a la camarera nos robaron la placa con o sin comentario disculpa. Me quedé sentado allí sin saber lo que estaba ocurriendo! Finalmente regresó con más bolas de carne, aún no bien caliente, pero esta vez cálido. Media disculpa de corazón ya que ella saliera. No volveremos.

A return here before a theatre trip was a no brainier for us. You can eat early and have a high standard meal without feeling rushed. This time we selected salads and my husband asked to make several changes to his selection and there was no issue and he received exactly what he had asked for. It was busy but the waitress was helpful and friendly and showed no sign of how busy she was. We can recommend this venue and will definitely return.

I went to F&B as part of a foursome prior to a comedy night. It was quite busy for 5:30 on a Saturday evening but then it was also the Saturday before Halloween. The starters were reasonable, after all it is difficult to mess up most things out of a packet and deep fried.The stake (rare) was cooked to perfection and served on a mountain of fries which spoilt the plate a little. with one tomato, one flat mushroom and two onion rings, I wish I had ordered a side salad. Others had burgers and a smaller portion of fries more appropriate for the dish.Don’t order the long island ice tea cocktail pitcher. at £15 it may seem good value but it was a let-down tasting more like lightly flavoured coke. The mojito and the cosmopolitan on the other hand were quite nice (neither came in a pitcher).The service was satisfactory and the whole experience was mediocre at best. I won’t find myself looking for an excuse to go back any time soon, but on the other hand I would go again if it suited the occasion.

Booked in for a meal to celebrate our anniversary, certainly was not disappointed! Only had a shared garlic bread for starters but had the glazed gammon for main course and my wife had the vegetarian burger. Could not fault either and the service was efficient without being overbearing. Finished off with cinnamon waffles, thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would recommend as an informal but quality night out, many thanks!!!

My wife and I visited on a bank holiday Monday evening and it was busy when we arrived without a booking. However they found us a table straight away.My first impression was that we might of made the wrong choice just because it was busy and we might be left hanging around waiting too long for service (which is a bugbear for us), but our server attended to us quickly, took our order and brought our drinks straight away.We shared starters of bread basket and filled potato skins all with dips, then I had a burger and my wife had gammon and eggs. We shared chocolate brownies for our sweet.All in all the food was very good, it was what we wanted and better than we expected when we sat down.The waitress was nice and smiley and made for an enjoyable meal.We would go again if visiting Southampton and I would recommend it to others, we didn't share the same experience as some of the poor reviews - so I thought it would be good to balance it with a good review.It's casual dining not fine dining and for us, it worked well.

Came here on my birthday just me and my partner for Breakie we were the only ones in the restaurant which should have said it all really. Bloke in charge seemed very arrogant and up himself. He told us ther was no bacon so when my partner asked for extra sausages instead he said snappily one only. The breakfast menu has changed since I last visited and has gone up in price which sux also what I had the Blueberry pancakes they used to be nice now they are awful! Literally had 3 pancakes with some maple syrup and about five blueberries on top... It also said it came with honeycombe butter which it didn't. just a few bits of honeycomb like you would put on an ice cream. I liked Frankie and bennys Breakie and used to be a regular... Probably not anymore also no acknowledgement of it being my birthday despite wearing a badge!

reliable American Italian restaurant with good size portions and helpful and friendly staff. We came as a party of 5 for dinner in April and left full, satisfied with good food - the chicken sambucca was very good, as was the pesto pasta. good cocktails.

We booked in advanced to ensure prompt seating before our cinema visit. I would highly recommend booking, as those that didn't had to wait up to 25 minutes. We arrived 10 minutes early and were able to have a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. The service at the table was fast and everything was very good. I had the salmon salad which was good. My husband had the burger and it was great. Just below £20 per head. The toilets had a Italian lesson instead of music which was a little strange. Lots of parking available at the car park.

As a regular business as well as family customer. May I say this is a top notch establishment. The food, customer service and experience was fantastic. Everything was done promptly and the coffee was expertly crafted with a stencilled motif on top that improved the experience further by showing some personality that other stores hadn't showed before. Well done and I will drop in again some time soon.

Lots of choices for breakfast including the traditional English. Many other variations with an American theme. I chose a stateside stacker and it was in a tasty rosemary bap. Too big to eat all at once so I dismantled mine. The potato rosti was lovely- dry and crisp. I was torn between this or waffles or pancake dishes as they all looked delicious. Maybe next time! Free refills on tea and coffee including cappuccino or lattes is a bonus.

Perfect service. We came quite late night and had great friendly service with good food. Definitely will come again.

The food was utterly appalling. My son ordered a pizza which he couldn't eat because it was so sweet. I tasted it, and it was as if white sugar had been split on it. It was also soggy.He's a hungry 13-year-old and have NEVER seen him leave a crumb of pizza before - he left two thirds saying "I just can't eat it".My Chicken Saltimbocca was two tiny, desiccated balls of grizzly chicken. They appeared as if they had been reheated several times over several days, and served with overcooked vegetables and tasteless watery spaghetti. My wife's salad was covered in an acrid dressing which she hated.My 10-year-old daughter, however, loved her spaghetti Bolognese, but I would say the garlic bread it arrived with caused much merriment was so hard, it could have cracked the plate on which it was served. In fairness, I would say it's possible they were skeleton staffed as it was the evening of New Year's Day, but then they should not have been open. The Polish waiter, however, was nice.

I have given this restaurant a few chances to redeem itself, but it only seems to get worse. Expensive, poor quality food in a dingy setting.Ordered a carbonara - so greasy! like ridiculously greasy. Its put me off for life.Only positive is the service .... although it really does depend on who is working.Avoid.

Ate at F&B's after Star Wars in iMax. Booked before film & welcomed by floor manager & seated at a table however after the overheated cinema sitting by a door was cold so I asked a waitress if we could move. This was achieved with smiles & we were ensconced into a booth. That set the tone for an evening of friendly service with good food. I had blue cheese burger & they gave my companion the onion rings to have with his enormous mixed grill. No complaints. Crackers contained 20% off vouchers & 2 other vouchers handed out (also 4 Jan-11 Feb) not sure we'll get to use many but can pass them on. This is a well run F&B and customer service is upheld. (Oddly another couple move dto the very same table we'd left, do it takes all sorts!)

We had our Christmas party last Monday, I expected a fairly good meal but I can truly say it was awful. The food ...well it was dried out, lacked taste, vegetables were watery and the potatoes were obviously roasted but so dry it was unpleasant to eatFor a big compnay you should be ashmed of yourselves

Chicken was dried out and tough. Pizzas were wet. Pizzas should be served on stone or hot porous surface. Ordered two purple rain cocktails and both were very different. Meatballs were dried out and very different to last visit.

Popped in after going to the Odeon Cinema. As it was quite early evening the place was only about a quarter full. Shown to our table promptly by a young waitress who was attentive throughout our meal. Menu was quite extensive (American Italian) with medium prices. As it caters for the cinema goers service was prompt and food OK. Not somewhere for a night out for a couple but would be good for a larger group of mixed ages, like a birthday party for instance.

I've eaten at Frankie and Benny's outside of Southampton, where we had enjoyed really good food. This time however, I was disappointed in that they didn't have a decent vegetarian pizza - only a Calzone or a plain Cheese and Tomato one for £9, which I thought was a lot of money for something you can buy down the supermarket for a couple of quid! The waitress, however, suggested creating my own pizza by adding a selection of toppings. I had goats cheese/olives/chilli's/pepper and although the pizza was freshly baked, it was pretty tasteless to be honest, added to which we then discovered when the bill arrived that the 'extra' toppings were a staggering £1.50 each! which is a lot of money for no more than a tablespoon of tasteless 'extra's'. Not impressed, especially as we were not told how much these would cost. For a very basic pizza with bits of stuff on top I had actually paid £17!!!! crazy expensive, especially when other restaurants do the same pizza at more affordable prices. So, wont be coming here again! Having said that, my party enjoyed their food

me and my boyfriend go to this frankie and bennys quite a lot, so frequently we are recognised by most staff members. the reason we keep returning is because the food is absolutely amazing, I have been to other f&bs and this one beats them all by far! the staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is always really nice. don't have a bad word to say about it. keep it up guys! :)) from one very satisfied customer.

Went for a friends birthday and was disappointed with the food quality for the high price per main course. Could have cooked the same dish (rigatoni manzo) to a better standard in 15 minutes at home. Portion size is quite large and wide menu choice is excellent.

Have always loved F&B but we won't be going again. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. My meal came, cold chips, but the burger was awful, bland, no flavour, soggy lettuce, nothing to compliment it like onions etc. I did get onion rings but inside the burger they were all soggy. Could have got a better meal at Weatherspoons for half the price.

Good place to have dinner if you are going to the movies. Excellent food, good service, competitive prices. Slightly noisy as it is very busy.My opinion only and of course I am a Senior.

Decided at the last minute to go for breakfast as a treat for the husband today. We arrived around 10.30am having not booked the waiter explained they were busy but showed us to a table an took drinks orders straight away. The breakfasts arrived about 15mins after ordering an I thought this was very acceptable as they were busy, all the food was delicious we had an the waiter poped back to take more drink orders during them meal. For a family of 5 with two teenage sons who had extra drinks and side orders plus ice cream milkshakes after it was a very reasonable priced meal an the manager kindly gave a voucher for £10 off next time an took my husbands meal off the bill as it was Father's Day. Will be returning soon.

Paid a visit here was my daughters went to the cinema. Service very good, greeted upon arrival, waitress came to us very quickly to serve our drinks. The waitress was very good she was very helpful and always smiling. We had calamari that was deep-fried that was a bit too battery in greasy, the pizzas we had were absolutely perfect really tasty and a lovely size, the sweets we had were okay. I would go back here again for another meal and would recommend it but there are better places to eat.

Such slow service at F&B's means if you are seeing a film too the four hours parking allowance in the car park is not enough - costing me a £60 parking fine!!!Took my young daughters and nieces to see a kids film. After the film we went to F&B's for lunch as it is conveniently placed right next to the cinema. Arrived just before midday. The kids had simple kids meals, we had just ONE COURSE from the lunch menu. This took over TWO HOURS to serve!!!! It was impossible to get any attention from the waiters and waitresses even with several young children (who remained very well behaved despite waiting so long for their lunch - perhaps they should have behaved badly so we could get more attention!!!)The car park allows four hours free parking but with no exact record of when I entered the car park (concentrating on my young children!) with lunch taking soooo long, I went a few minutes over the four hours. A few days later I received a fine for £60 in the post.Beware of the car park! There are not many obvious notices about the limits and they take a photo of you entering and leaving the car park.Will not be returning - it's too risky. The food was very average - not worth the wait.

Went for a pre cinema dinner, shown to our booth at 6pm, for a main and a dessert it took nearly 2 hours. Ordered two cocktails from menu which we love, but we asked twice for them and they arrived after 20minutes of ordering. The staff were apologetic , had good customer interaction just a shame about the wait. The food is average but well priced for a cheap evening out with friends. All in all not the speediest dinner , it was pretty quiet when we arrived ,so glad we didn't eat any later as it was getting busier.

The food was good the service good and the prices good. If you eat there try and collect the vouchers on line as it does save money. The childrens food was good.

We've had breakfast at F& B's before, but this particular Sunday the waiter was running around alone (one came in late), so the service was terrible. I ordered a small cooked breakfast as did my partner. When it arrived I was disappointed. One egg was broken almost scrambled and the other slightly overcooked. The bacon could have been done a little longer. All the ingredients had just been thrown on the plate in a heap.I had toast but they had no marmalade (cardinal sin). Couldn't wait to get out. If I see one waiter in there alone in future I will avoid going in.

Not been here for a few years and aware of recent reviews but it was near the hotel and worth a go. Went early (6.30) and shown straight to a booth. Drink order taken before I sat down, food order as soon as I put the menu down. Stuck to specials menu and very happy. Chilli meatballs with chilli in them! Cajun chicken cooked nicely and toffee pudding to finish. Very attentive service without being overbearing, drink refreshed with perfect timing. Love the music and good atmosphere even as it was still filling up. Shame I was on my own or would have stayed longer.

Went for a pre cinema meal here, hoping for the usual Frankie and Benny's experience that we've had elsewhere. Despite an empty weekday restaurant, we were confronted with an aggressive manager who asked us if we had booked and looked around at the empty tables annoyed that he had to seat us. Drinks took longer than the starter to arrive and were not the free refills for soft drinks that are on offer in other restaurants- making the £3.00+ for a coke quite extortionate. Starter was tame. Main courses were rushed out after they were cleared. We ordered the more expensive burgers as I seem to remember the cheap ones are little bigger than a mc Donald's, only to find the pricier ones are exactly the same. Each burger was served with a small handful of cold chips and we were not offered any sauces by the manager who scuttled quickly away after putting them down. There was one nice waiter in the restaurant who was very polite ad friendly, but he was rushed off his feet with a kids party and nobody seemed to be helping him. Overall, I would not eat here again. There are plenty of other places locally for a pre cinema meal that I am willing to try!

Pre-cinema lunch with wife for Valentine's Day. Very pleased with free carpark, very good service and excellent dessert cheesecake. Starters and main courses average. My burger was well presented but a poor quality industrial bit of meat. The gents' and ladies' toilets were both in a poor state of repair.
