Comida encantadora y un gran servicio que nos hace pasar en tan poco tiempo. Gran lugar si vas al teatro. ¡Regresaremos!

Nuestro ir a su lugar cuando tenemos una noche en Southampton en el Mayflower. Servicio amable en este restaurante ocupado - Siempre reservamos. La comida es fresca, sabrosa y muy razonable. La próxima vez que estemos en Southampton, regresaremos.

Qué restaurante tan encantador. Limpio y ordenado. Buena selección de platos y nos hizo un par de artículos que en realidad no están en el menú. Súper servicio del personal alegre y muy servicial. Ideal para el almuerzo antes del teatro y un par de minutos al teatro - sin duda utilizaría en otra visita

Las pizzas estaban empapadas y grasientas y el personal grosero. Se puso un límite de tiempo y se recordó 3 veces. No hay tiempo para café o postre.

Went 11/7 before Miriam Margolyes at the Mayflower. Prebooked but not been before. Seated quickly, orders taken with lovely male waiter. Food was beautiful- tasty, hot, good value in city centre and location to major theatre. Loved it, all the staff are super friendly and efficient on a very busy early evening- thank you..

Visited this restaurant with my mum on 11/7/ 24 ,before seeing Miriam margolyes at the mayflower . Service to start with was good mum had spaghetti bolognaise and I had tag carbonara which was lovely however we where in the corner and we felt invisible as took ages to clear our plates and took ages to get our pudding order the pudding for what they charged £6.50 where small tiramisu three mouthfuls and it’s gone I had a lemon sorbet very sharp . When we booked as saw it on Facebook looked at menu looked nice no mention of service charge . I don’t agree with paying 20 percent service charge if I get a good service then yes if not then I won’t pay a service charge are businesses allow to do this ?, isn’t it up to the customer to pay a tip . Food main was good the waitress who welcomed us was welcoming and friendly and showed concerned for my mum who was injured and walking on a stick . The male waiter was a bit abrupt and slow with coming to our table to clear it and take our pudding order.

Great service, Great food, all fantastic, Not a criticism of the food but I went for lasagne and all though lovely the portion size was a little dissapointing.. compared to the other meals we ordered, but apart from that 5*

Great food, great service. despite the restaurant being full we got our food pretty quick. We had lasagna and prawn pasta, both delicious. Will come back :)

Authentic Italian Cuisine it is not! We had a terrible experience at this restaurant this evening. We booked a 6.15pm table and arrived 10 minutes early (we were going to the theatre). We were sat quickly and ordered almost immediately. However over 30 minutes went by with no sign of drinks, let alone starters. I called over the waitress and she wanted to retake the whole order as it seemed nothing had been logged. We explained we were going to the theatre and were now on a tight time frame so would cancel the starters and just get mains. The mains (worryingly) then appeared within a few minutes - I'm not sure it was even 3! The penne dish had no chicken despite being listed as so... when questioned with the waiter this was then whipped from under my nose and a new dish complete with chicken appeared in under 5 minutes. The food was not good. Don't waste your time or money going there. Authentic Italian Cuisine, I don't think so.

Food was great, service excellent, nice clean environment, good value for money Only downside was toilet accessibility which was down two rather steep flights of stairs, though the restaurant did have a disabled toilet at ground level.

Booked lunch for 1145. Arrived just before and were shown to our table. No one came to take a drink or food order. Our order was finally taken at 1230. Food arrived after a wait of an hour and five minutes. Having eaten our main course we decided there was probably not enough time for desert so ordered coffee and our bill. We then waited - table was not cleared whilst we waited - in the end we cancelled the coffee as we ran out of time. In all fairness, they did make a good adjustment to the bill and the staff were very apologetic but it all seemed very chaotic. Shame as we have eaten there without problems in the past. Doubt that we will return.

The restaurant is located close to the Mayflower Theatre making it ideal for a meal before a performance. We did not have a reservation but were accommodated without a wait. We both ordered the lasagna as it came with a small garden salad. Salad is extra with other pasta selections. The lasagna is individually prepared in a boat bowl. The layers of pasta and bolognaise sauce are topped with lots of cheese. Only disappointment was the garlic bread. It is just a thin crust pizza with a garlic butter coating. It was partly our fault for not reading the menu description. You can get a nice meal without breaking the bank. Restaurant was busy but not at capacity. We noticed that some other tables used the restaurant for drinks without ordering food.

We came in last night at 6.15, before a performance of " I should be so lucky". The restaurant was busy, the staff were on top of their game. The starters and mains arrived with plenty of time to spare for the 7.30 show. Each dish was beautiful. The pricing is good, the restaurant spotless, the staff ultra friendly. This is our go to restaurant when in Southampton, so basicly, See you next month when we attend Blood Brothers.

The food was very good, especially the salmon tagliatelle. There was one waitress who was very friendly and seemed to make an effort. Unfortunately there was one waiter who was very rude throughout. All the food came out bar one and when we asked where it was we were rudely told that it was coming. When the woman came back and asked what we were missing we were told the pizza was in the oven, a few minutes later the gentleman brought out a pasta, when we explained it wasn't what we ordered he told us, it was on the bill and then tried to quite heavily pressure our friend into taking the pasta saying that it would be a long wait for her actual order to come out and that it was not in fact in the oven. The pizza was at least removed from the bill however the bill was a complete mess, prices were totally different from the menu, some more and some less, there were also some of the wrong items added. We were a large group (less than 20 though) however given there were only 4 other people in there who finished fairly early on during our meal and there were at least two staff you would expect them to be able to cope. We were not checked on throughout our meal, I had finished my drink before recieving my food and was not able to order another until I had almost finished. In fairness we asked for some extra time to pay the bill however we then had to go find someone to actually as after around fifteen/twenty minutes nobody had returned and no staff were in sight.

My family booked a pre show evening meal, the restaurant is very popular with theatre goers as it’s next to the Mayflower theatre, the staff were friendly, efficient and well organised. food came out hot and we didn’t have to wait long. I would highly recommended this restaurant if your planning on visiting the theatre.

Excellent food which came out hot. The team were fantastic - extremely friendly and all helping each other out as the restaurant was full which was nice to see. They ensured everyone attending the theatre received their meals in good time so they were not late for the show. A real achievement they should be proud of and I hope they maintain these high standards as other restaurants nearby which are more expensive are not as good as this one. A real gem. Thank you for making our visit a memorable one and we will 100% be back!

My sister and I had pre Pantomime lunch. The staff are friendly and the service was good. We both had Tagliatelle with salmon. This was very nice with plenty of salmon and the sauce to pasta ratio was perfect. We finished with the honeycomb cheesecake which was the star of the show. We will definitely return in the future.

We went for a pre theatre meal , and it was our first visit. Good selection of Italian favourites on the menu, quality of the food was excellent as was the service. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely be visiting again

Had an early sitting after visiting the Mayflower. Have walked past many times but never been before. Don't let the exterior fool you. the interior is very smart and welcoming. Staff are very friendly. Very good menu with lots of options. My starter of bruscetta and Al Pollo pizza were absolutely delicious. Cocktail was lovely. Will definitely go back.

We booked for a pre theatre meal and were very pleased with both the food and the service. Two of us had pasta and the other had a Caesar salad. We followed this with excellent desserts.

Booked this as it is very close to the theatre. All the staff seemed friendly and helpful. There was a reasonable choice of menu options. The portion sizes were just right and tasted good. No complaints, no wow's - just good tasting food!
