A real gem! One of the best cooked breakfasts I have had and the cafe is very popular with the locals and has a very welcoming atmosphere. I went back for dinner too and that was delicious and very reasonably priced.

We arrived on our bicycles just as the café was about to close and they kindly sorted drinks and food and really made us welcome. One of the nicest cafés we've been to in Shropshire.

We called here for a mid morning snack on our way to Benthall hall, we where happy to find Crumpets on the extensive menu & lovely they where too. A small place but nevertheless freindly and welcoming . We would recommend Mikeys to anyone.

Stayed at the YHA about 10 min drive and popped in here adhoc for takeaway dinner. We were not disappointed when we tucked in later. Really nice fish and chips. Did not accept credit cards cash only freshly cooked staff seemed to know everyone coming by name. Lucky locals. Easy parking

Went to Clifford's for a birthday breakfast. I had the breakfast baguette and my wife had sausage, tom and hash brown baguette. I was a bit taken back by the pricing but for the value of the sandwich you get it's 100% worth it! Atmosphere down as a 4 as I had the food to takeaway.

Brilliant stay at Chapel House. I have a food intolerance and they couldn’t have done more for me, individually picking out options for me and putting oat milk in my room. Food and hospitality excellent as always.
