The food was hot , they tried to ring me about a replacement but couldn’t get through but had written on mine so thank you

Steak and kidney pudding was a shocker tonight, normally great but I cut into it and lukewarm water emerged! Not sure what happened. Has it not been in the water bath long enough or was it pinged! Hopefully I’ll make it into work tomorrow 😂 First time I’ve been negative about this place! Sausage was anaemic aswell

The pies were really tasty and crisp, and the curry sauce was delicious

Think they’re allergic to reading orders. Literally never right. All drinks missing also.

i love mikes and order often but they never get an order right. Also, if you run out of pepsi, give me coke or a normal drink. dont give me dandilion and burdock and cream soda to replace it. dont know what planet theyre on thinking thats a normal replacement.

Speedy delivery. We put the food in a pre-heated oven for five mins and that helped. Pie, chips and peas went down well, he made some Bisto gravy. Fish wasn’t as good as last time but ok. Would order again

Gran chippy - el pescado es excelente. Muchas opciones en el menú. Las patatas fritas son buenas y muchas. Muy bien. No el más barato, pero grandes porciones tan decente valor.

Food was okay everything was in the same tray wasn’t presented nicely, and also I ordered two cans of Coke which wasn’t delivered. I’m really not happy with my order.

Latte arrived in a collapsed cup so was just tepid water in a bag. Sandwiches were cold too

There’s no polite way to put this. But the food from this establishment was absolutely disgraceful. Fish and chips were both greasy and when we went back to show them, no acknowledgment or a single apology whatsoever.

my coke was substituted for pepsi. the chips were a little lukewarm.

Food is normally good from Mike's but tonight the chips were proper minging - dry and tasted stale. The pies were Ok and hardly any gravy on the chips, even the chips covered in gravy tasted stale.

I take my friend to Christie's and always call in for a breakfast or a blt muffin lovely and a good price

I had a problem with the delivery, as the only number I had been sent was my order number. I was standing on the doorstep in the cold, as the driver insisted I gave him a number while the meal was getting cold. He could see the order on my iPad. This system has put me off using Just Eat again.

Absolutely terrible they ripped me off i ordered a fish and chips and beans and they thought i wasnt going to notice there was no fish in the fish they gave me just breading the scammy pigs do not go there.

The worst i ever had the chips were bland hardly any fish, and ive seen staff handle money then food without washing their hands, disgusting

Everything was completely bone dry and chewy. The fish must have been left out since yesterday. Chips were hard as rocks and leathery. Pudding was dried out all around it and even inside when it's supposed to be soft from the steam cooking. Terrible.

Contrary to request, all food hot and cold was pushed into one plastic bag. Chips, gravy, meat pie, crushed and tepid in bottom of plast bag. Cold ham sandwiches stuck on top. Lowest one heated by chips etc. Plastic bag tightly tied on top. Nasty

the food is cold and looks like it's been cooked ages ago and left, this has come as a shock as normally we have received excellent food from here

Literally begged for hot food in notes… VERY SMALL portion of chips and curry okay but never seen flat chips B4. Pies lukewarm but barm okay. Dogs enjoyed the pies.

Quick delivery, food only OK. Fish was small, flesh dry & batter stale so had been sitting for a while, half the batter had come off. Chips would have been good if they weren't so oily. Curry sauce was great. Probably go elsewhere next time.

Great service. I ordered online and didn't realise you have to pay separetly for rice with the chips and chilli, so had asked in the notes. The legends still sent me what Id asked for and politely let me know to order separately. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Fish n chips wasn't bad, batter was very thin and fish was a bit dry but the chips were good. Good portion size though. Mushy peas weren't very tasty, curry sauce could've been better.

Excellent food, all served in good ole fashioned chippy paper! Delicious.

Very greasy and soggy chips, large chips came with less chips than the chip barm?? Pudding was bang on, curry sauce was decent too.

The lady is so kind and hospitable she allowed us to eat in right before their closing time and the food was really good !

I watched the delivery guy cycle up and down my road whilst I was calling him and he marked the food as delivered when I don’t have it. I spent my last hit of money ordering this food and I am distraught.

Food was great as always but I didn't get can of coke I ordered and left egg and cups of tea (ordered 2x breakfast) in the order even though I asked for them to be removed. Delivery driver was polite and all food was hot.

Meals were missing! Phoned the restaurant for her to tell me nobody had ordered and I'm making it up! Apparently no1 had ordered at all today but yet here i am leaving a review for the order I didnt get?

Food from here is always hot, fresh and delicious it’s pretty much my favourite place now.

Recently discovered this gem of a place. Today tried the chippy side of things and the food was lush, hot and fresh. Can also recommend the full English breakfast as well was very impressed with it. Will definitely be back 😁

Absolutely shocking portions i bought a chip barm and was lucky if there was enough chips to even cover the barm. The worst portion sizes ive ever experienced and the service was very slow

Garbage old lady thinks she's special! Attitude problem ! Fish and chips ordered got home needed a hammer to crack Batter!! Went 4 months later ! Same person Ate in pie chips chips reheated many time!! Returned plate not even a Thanks! Avoid !!!!

To put it bluntly, Bloody Good Solid food. Varied menu at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Done in or take away. Varied breakfast menu available all day. Came across Mike's purely by accident. Returned a few days later, late in day to sample a breakfast item. No complaints at all and will definitely be returning. Always appears busy and staff will go out to help. A little basic dining in, but not disappointed or dissatisfied at all.

Only 1 thing the curry sauce needs to be a little thicker

I'm a fanatic for real fish and chips, and Mikes fish and chips is the best example of the best fish and chips I've enjoyed in years! Piping hot, crispy and delicious, and served by a lovely lady, superb! You've got to try it.

Ordered jacket with Chilli, far too spicy. Couldn't taste anything but the hot chilli. Wasted meal as I couldn't eat. I love chilli that wasn't nice. Disappointed with mine but rest of the was ok.

Absolute joke this place, ordered food for my children, paid on card. They didn't deliver my food but put delivered on just eat. I found there number online rang them and they put the phone down after several rings, tried to ring back and phone would no longer connect.
