Midland Kebab Tandoori Takeaway in Erewash

My friend and I had a kabab, used them before no problems, I thought it tasted strange so I didnt eat it all, we both were very unwell, I had to go into hospital for three days with food poisoning

Very disappointing. Ordered food and after an hour it had not arrived despite it saying 50 minutes. Called to chase to be told on the way. After 20 minutes it arrived, and the delivery driver rang the bell despite instructions not to due to the time. Food cold so thrown away. Would not order from here again.

I think people have very poor standards if they are giving 5 star food for this place. It is completely average with its kebabs. I hadn't ordered from this place in months, so gave it another go, and now i remember why. Ordering a mixed Chicken and lamb shish paying £9.30, here's a summary of the food: - tiny cubes of chicken and lamb, totalling 250grams. - The naan is awful, dried, thin, stale. - hardly any salad. Its utterly average, i'd say below average, for £9.30. See for yourself with the photos. There has got to be better places than this in Long eaton/west notts, surely. what are the positives? it looks clean, it has a 5 star hygeine rating, and the guys behind the counter are friendly and welcoming. Shame the food is not up to the same standard.

Food: Probably the best chicken tikka on Naan in Long Eaton if not Nottingham. Service: Always speedy at taking my order and preparing the food. You can see them prep the chicken tikka which is freshly done. Atmosphere: As far as kebab houses go, it's ok! you can't eat in, but there are 2 convenience stores nearby to pickup other bits whilst you wait for your order.

Absolute crap never again got the order wrong chicken and dona mix got chicken leg with no meat cold salad was soggy worst meal ever dont bother rang up to sort it out coldnt speak english in the shop took the order and money fine there is a pattern now with these people take your money and rip you off Just said sorry and put the phone down utter rubbish

Food arrived started to eat the chicken to find it was raw in the middle. Restaurant wasn't really interested in refunding only wanted to send the food out again. Didn't want to eat from there again. Save the chicken to send to environmental health

Been going to Midland ever since the days of queuing out door after the pubs closed on a Friday night at 10.30 pm. When I say going, I say that tongue in cheek because over the years it changed management more times than I have had a kebab, and some of those were pretty dire to say the least. So it seems to be under new management again , but the good news is Kebab is par excellent, particularly when you note the freshness of the salad, (not easy in these times). Price is very competitive , and no I am not some josh begging a freeby, just call it as I find, and this sector of economy certainly needs a boost.

I ordered donner kebab and chips with a 10 piece nuggets with cheese, kebab was dry and tasteless and i only recieved 4 nuggets

Upon ordering a kebab from midland kebabs the assistant carved from the rotisserie a large portion of kebab meat and placing in the bain marie and serving me meat from a different pot which turned out to be stone cold when i got home. After returning the item i was offered the food which i watched him carve earlier and by now this food was luke warm. The assistant gave me a refund as he thought i was being difficult.

Absolutely lovely Kebabs..this place has really gone up! Huge portions..well presented..drivers are so nice..on time as always.

Seems like a nice place. Only accepts cash & no cash point close by. 3/5 hygiene rating.

I would give it one stars if I could. I was missing an item from my order, the garlic bread pizza crust was burnt and it was full of grease. I also ordered a korma, which is supposed to be a mild curry and this korma was anything but. It was far too spicy and the chicken was dry. The chips were soggy and tasted stale and the chicken nuggets weren’t good either. Will not be ordering from here again.

This was my first and last time.. grumpy staff, quantity and quality is poor for what you pay

Order a tikka kebab bbq chicken pizza and chips , they sent me a Donna kebab with a small bit of tikka under it. Which wasn’t very warm almost cold and wasn’t what I had ordered . The chips was also cold. However the bbq pizza was nice .

Ordered mega kebab, it was certainly massive! Lots of meat, cooked brilliantly and the naan was perfect! The chicken on the bone couldn't have been better. Defo recommended and will use again.

Ordené kebabs de Midland Road el domingo por la noche a las 10: 02 pm con una ETA de 10: 50. La comida llegó media hora tarde después de que tuve que llamar al restaurante para preguntar dónde estaba. La envoltura que pedimos era de muy mala calidad, sin carne en la envoltura, espere que la envoltura esté enroscada en el medio del papel. El pollo frito y las patatas fritas eran grasosas y muy poco apetitosas. Estoy muy descontento con este servicio y la calidad de la comida, por lo tanto, creo que es necesario tomar medidas adicionales con respecto a esto, para ser honesto, siento que he malgastado completamente mi dinero. Mi compañero y yo ahora tendremos que esperar una hora más por la comida en la que hemos tenido que gastar más dinero.

this is by far the best kebab house in Long Eaton and has been for years. If you haven't been there yet you need to go.

Pedimos una comida para llevar el domingo por la noche a las 8 pm. Nos dijeron que tardaría una hora en llegar. A las 9:30 pm intentamos volver a llamar para ver dónde estaba nuestro pedido y no pudimos comunicarnos. Intentamos llamar más de 30 veces durante la siguiente hora sin respuesta y nunca recibimos la comida ni una llamada telefónica para explicar por qué decidieron no entregar el pedido.

Horrible food, the curry was full of grease, I had to spoon loads of the top, the nan bread and rice where burnt, the pizza was so greasy it was soaking through the box, really bad, if you want a nice curry go to sagaar in old sawley, don't waste your money here

My kebab had whole wig in in and i asked for mayo but im pretty sure it was home made . My chips were bloody and ice cubes in it

I ordered the Donner meat on a nan with a side order of chips, the delivery was approximately an hour as expected. When my order arrived I opened the kebab to find a long dark hair. (My hair is short and blonde) i contacted the shop and they asked if I was able to keep the delivery with the hair remaining and they’ll exchange. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt to rectify. I waited a further 45 minutes (which I didn’t expect, as it was a complaint) I phoned again and the man explain the order was on its way, with me waiting 45 mins I asked if the side order of chip would come fresh as this was part of a meal. He conformed and said “yes sir”. The delivery eventually turned up but was surprised to find no fresh chips and just a cold kebab. At this point I didn’t want the food but was f****** off for the way they treat their customers that actually give them the benefit of the doubt. The man accused me of lying and even admitted that the customer service they give isn’t good enough which says it all. I could understand if I was asking for money or freebies but none of that was mentioned because that wasn’t what I wanted. Avoid this takeaway shop!

Used to be good kebab shop reheated dry chicken

Excellent service. We finished a late shift and wanted chips and cheese. The guy was really pleasant and chatty. We asked him to layer the chips and cheese double layer so the cheese was all the way through and he was more than happy to do it. Food was really nice and cooked fresh. Thier garlic sauce is amazing.

We ordered a tray of Donner kabab with chips, and salad. All ok apart from a salad to me is not just white cabbage and onions. Next my partner ordered a Donner meat kabab with salad yet again came the same as the first one but with no chips and no pitta. We also ordered a diet coke and a Fanta but received a lilt. 🤦‍♀️ would of rang up but by this time it was 1am and couldn’t be bothered with the faff about

There are lots of places to get a kebab in Long Eaton, but we reckon that these are the best. Especially when they come in a freshly cooked naan bread from their own tandoori oven. The boss man is also really friendly and will definitely put a smile on your face.

If ur wanting a nice takeaway what ever you do dont go to this place the food was mingin whilst i was waiting for my food just as they opened they cooked donner meat from the nite before infront of me and just put it in the pot an used on a kebab an then to make things worse they heated up some chicken kebab meat out of a bucket in the microwave which also went on the same kebab this place needs shutting down before someone gets seriously ill dont beleave me go at opening time and look at what gets cooked infront of u

Discusting place, waited ages for food to be told the driver is on his way(3 times) when it finally arrived we were a kebab missing, food under cooked, avoid this place and save yourself the hassle.

Ordered at 12:30 stated to be here at 1:30; fair enough. Rang up at 1:45 and was told it would be a few minutes so gave it the benefit of the doubt. It’s now nearly half past 2 and tried ringing them 4 times and no answer. Could of ordered from somewhere else but can’t due to everywhere closing. Absolutely disgraceful. Will not be using again!

We rang this restaurant and told them we were first time customers. If I am correct it is the one near the level crossing in Long Eaton, We ordered a delivery which took over an hour. I had spelled out the postcode three times and the driver went to the wrong address. My husband had lamb madras I ordered chicken tikka karai, my meal was absolutely disgusting the plastic carrier bag was full of oil, The meal was inedible full of greasy onions and dry hard chicken. The poppadoms were broken. The lamb madras wasn't as bad, but still not good. We have been eating and cooking Indian food for years and have never had such a disgusting meal. I telephoned and the manager asked if we wanted a replacement errrm duhh I said no could they come and collect the meal and give me a refund. We waited and nobody turned up,

Food arrived: chips were cold and soggy, tasted stale. Samosas which were supposed to be vegetable were full of just potato, also cold. Awful meal.

Take away man dropped the poppadom on the drive.. went back to pick it up out a puddle and gave it to me... then gave me £1 less change because I got a free poppadom that I've put in the bin???

sorry have to agree... absolutely tasteless kebab meat and the nam bread wasn't fresh at all. didn't even seem as though it was made there either. not saying their food is disgusting. just so bland and like I say no taste what so ever in the thin shavings of cardboard they call kebab meat. oh and mint yogurt!! that was so sour like it was going off

One of our favourite locations for kebab in Long Eaton. Quality of their nan is sometimes hit and miss.

Ordered 4 curries from here and we were more than happy with them! Expectations weren't hugely high as it's just a takeaway place but the portions were brill, especially the naan breads that are enormous! All the curries were delicious and the delivery was when expected! Will definitely use them again!

Best Kebab Donner/Shish ive had in years

After a long week we decided to have a lazy evening and order takeaway. Ordered from midland kebabs so each family member could have a different food item. The food arrived in good time. We were missing a can of coke but everything else was as ordered. The massala curry although colourful was totally tasteless. The chips and curry arrived in a messed up state all soggy and unappetising. My son left it and he usually eats anything! The scampi and chips were ok but chips soggy. I think the polystyrene boxes don't help. The only redeeming factor was the vegetarian pizza which was really nice. Overall the meal left us mostly disappointed and hungry. We will not bother ordering from them again.

I ordered from here today as it USED to be one of the best take aways. But even though my dad pre warned me that recently it has gone down hill, i still ordered from there;. The pizza base was a pre made base and horrible, the naan on my kebab was pre made and horrible, i ordered and paid for a lamb tikka and doner and got just a burnt lamb tikka which was also horrible. The man i spoke to on the phone had about as good customer service as a frog. Stay clear from here unless someone else takes over.

Recycled nan bread steak taken out of plastic container and told its fresh. Not fit for a dog!

Best kebabs in the area by far- highly recommend with the garlic mayo (much nicer than competitiors) !
