Stopped off in Morpeth on our way home from a few days away in caravan visiting Northumberland and this place was recommended as being dog friendly so thought would give it a try and so glad we did…service fabulous and friendly, food amazing and such good value for money (I got three cups of tea from my one teapot)….and very dog friendly…Summer got her own doggie biscuit and water bowl brought to the table lol…the outside courtyard is small so if your dog is not comfortable around other dogs it is something to be aware of but it wasn’t an issue for us as we went when first opened and was quiet…loved the quirky decor and soft furnishings outside and the background music (felt like we had gone back in time)…could have easily spent hours chilling out there if we hadn’t been travelling home that day…Morpeth itself was a lovely town to visit with lots of different shops to explore and had a village feel even though quite large…will definitely be back to visit again and make sure we drop in at Micah’s

My fiancé and I visited the tea room after me having talked to him about it for years. It is as always an incredibly visit. The tearoom itself is super cute and vintage looking and very cosy. The food is amazing and they’ve actually increased the options available since I was last in but everything was fresh and tasty. I ordered a hot chocolate with a fruit scone with jam and cream and they were unreal! My fiancée ordered a tuna jacket potato and for dessert/drink a banana milkshake and he was blown away. He said the food was delicious and despite not normally being a big fan of the side salads that come with jacket potatoes that theirs was the freshest he’s ever had, he wishes every salad he would eat would be like that. The staff are the loveliest people who make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Always happy to see you and making jokes. I’m so glad I was finally able to show my fiancé how wonderful this place truly is, if you’re visiting Morpeth make sure you find time to pop in, you’ll love it!

We had a spate of going to Micah's every time we were in the Northumberland area, but, hadn't visited since 2015?! During our very recent half term break, we popped in, and wondered why we left it so long?! It's a gorgeous little place; quirky, and cosy. Staff continue to be delightful, and genuinely friendly/helpful. Food and drink is very reasonably priced, and the Full English is excellent value, (inc. toast, jam, hot drink). The cakes/treats are exceptional. I'd go as far as to say this is the best place for treats/lunches in the area!

Disappointing. After reading the reviews we thought we’d call in for a drink and a slice of cake. A bit of an awkward set up with small chairs and limited space inside, but we ordered 2 drinks and a slice of cake. At £3.25 per slice of cake, we expected more than we got. Aswell as this, the fork we received was disgusting (see pictures), and the cake really wasn’t very nice. Given the state of the fork, the use of reusable ice cubes was also questionable - and not welcomed. The service was fine, but we definitely won’t return

An afternoon in Morpeth Park with our 2 year old grandson turn into tea and cake to get warm. Hadn’t planned it so this lovely little tea room was a very pleasant find. Lots of choice on the menu and home made cakes. The grandson certainly enjoyed the carrot cake and a child’s hot chocolate complete with marshmallows. My black coffee was excellent which makes a change from of the bitter offerings in some of the more well known chains!! Didn’t have anything more substantial but all looked good and the service was very friendly and attentive. Been here many times and it is always good. The menu doesn't change much but the food is good, home-cooked style and at a reasonable price. There is an indoor seating area but I've never used it as we sit in the backyard with our dog; this sheltered in Winter and a sun trap in Summer. The staff are friendly dog lovers, most of them owners themselves, I usually have the soup & sandwich combo, with homemade Lentil and Ham soup and a Bacon sandwich; good price and very warming on a cold day.

Found this lovely little cafe after a walk along the Riverside. It's small and there was no one in when we arrived but it soon filled up and is obviously a popular place. There is a very extensive menu but we are both dieting so resisted all the cakes and decided on poached eggs on toast and the homemade lentil and ham soup. Both were lovely and hot and delicious. Nice coffee and friendly staff. A good choice...

Stopped here for a coffee and teacake whilst visiting Morpeth. Interesting photos of old Morpeth on walls and original range in one corner. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Lovely garden courtyard out the back - I didn't use it as it was cold on day I visited but it would be lovely in the summer. I will certainly visit again and try the lunches. Also I noticed that they do a good range of vegetarian food and gluten free too. A great alternative to the high street chain coffee shops.

Extensive lunch menu all reasonably priced. Homely cooking but nicely done. Had ham and lentil soup with bread. Large bowl with fresh bread and butter. Delicious. Will revisit.

Stopped here for a late lunch while shopping in Morpeth with my mum. I had mushroom soup and roll with chicken mayo. Mum had lentil soup and a prawn sandwich. Simple food but all were delicious, particularly the mushroom soup which was perfect. We then couldn't resist the cakes. Spoilt for choice, we went for coffee walnut, which was also delicious. Our waitress forgot to bring us the cake but given it was New Years Eve and she no doubt wanted to get away, I can understand and everyone was very friendly and apologetic about it when I asked. The experience capped off of a lovely day out, our first visit to Morpeth.

Walking around Morpeth we spotted this little tearoom We were lucky to get a table and enjoyed absolutely delicious homemade soup served with a choice of scones, bread or a sandwich. I had a lovely ham and lentil soup with a cheesy scone. There was plenty choice on the menu and other meals around us looked lovely. Charming staff and a quirky atmosphere.

Played today, Mon 26th August, Great layout, but sadly the greens are diseased and awful, and the tee boxes are terrible, very expensive bar, and no food being served, even though there was a competition on, and the bar was busy, Sadly one to miss in the future.

We visited Hexham yesterday and found this café in the Market Place, after a lovely River Tyne walk. It was quite busy at 1pm but we didn't have to wait long for our table. The girls made us feel very welcome and worked so hard while we were there clearing tables and getting everyone seated as soon as possible. My husband had a bacon sarnie and I had a ham and mushroom omelette which was so light and fluffy, delicious. Coffees were great too. Plenty of choice on the menu and great prices. Doggy friendly too with a treat for pooch 🐾

What a welcoming, hospitable place. If you ever need cheering up, this is the place to go. We were made welcome immediately, and tony the owner had us in stiches from the start. Everyone there were so friendly, and what had started as an intended short visit, led to us staying to closing. Met some brilliant characters, who all just made our day. Dog friendly too, which was an added bonus to us. Can't recommend enough.
