Mezza House in Wycombe

This is hard to tell, promoted 15 - 20 mins delivery. time kept changing in the end almost 1 hour to delivery from order. food was great as always. chips warm and soggy., not the best.

It was nice, service okay, food good but a bit westernised. I wanted the proper food, sad no Labneh!

Ate at this surprisingly good little restaurant yesterday whilst on a shopping trip in the town. The welcome and service received was friendly and helpful and the food was, in my opinion, superb. The Shish Taouk was delicious; the chicken lovely and tender and the salad clearly fresh and not some old or rehashed, soggy affair so often passed off with a meal. My partner had a Chicken Shawarma which she also very much enjoyed. The only minor negative was they only took cash 'today' which meant a quick trip to the cash machine next door - there was no mention of this when we arrived and ordered. Other than that, the food, atmosphere and service was all 5* and highly recommended. We will be back, I'm sure.

Really great food. Ate here with friends for dinner. I had the shawarma plate with rice which was delicious. Other friends had wraps and the mixed grill which all looked great here too. One warning - cash only!

The food here is amazing, never had a meal I didn’t enjoy, try everything it’s all lovely and great value. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the staff are lovely.

Popped in as I’ve never eaten Lebanese food before staff and boss totally amazing very friendly giving samples and loading my box with multiple samples for a take away service. The staff are amazing the boss and chief taking time to explain the ingredients and flavours 👍 I just had to go for the mixed grill platter.. All meats tender and cooked over coals to perfection. Salad and dressing fresh and at another level not dry or soggy, fresh and has a crunch. Side dips amazing and the hummus well 👌🏻 As for the desert another level 😘 Thank you so much for an amazing service and experience iI will definitely be back soon.. Keep up the amazing work that you do.. 100% Top service., You should be very proud of what you provide to the local community 🙏

Restaurant cooked the food on time but there was no delivery driver free to deliver. We waited for over 2 hours, just for a drive to accept the order. Called the restaurant and they had no resolution. The food is stone cold and inedible.

Great people great service. Mixed up my order with another Turkish restaurant in high Wycombe. They gave me my order on the house and its miles better!

Expensive at 23 quid for 3 skewers which are tiny. Chips good portion but cold anemic and greasy! 3 pieces of meat on each skewer. Soggy bread and the tiny pots of sauce is ridiculous for a 3 skewer kebab. The salad was tiny. Shame as the meat was very tasty even though it was all very cold and greasy. Expect much more for this type of restaurant

arayes was awful , hardly any mince in it, dry overcooked flatbread, it was like paying £8.99 for dry crackers. I think I should have a refund for that. its dry and inedible

Great flavours, very small amount of chicken in the Shawarma, the portion sizes used to be a lot bigger but are now consistantly smaller.

Mezza House is a truly excellent restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is first class. If you’re in High Wycombe and looking for something to eat then get along to Mezza House to experience some incredible Lebanese cuisine. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Ordered tonight for the first time, the mixed grill is absolutely amazing. First class service while ordering and waiting, lovely friendly staff and the food is quite simply the best I’ve ever eaten from Wycombe.

Mixed grill was good, carrot juice was fresh, baklava was nice. £2.50 for a can of coke was a robbery though Establishment was cosy but did not feel premium to match the price point. Ask to replace chilli sauce with hummus!

As pleasant as it was..I'm always hungry after eating their meals. in your box a quarter of it is taken up with a garlic dip in a plastic box (instead of it being loose in the carrier bag)... another quarter of the dish is filled with a slice of flatbread! there is more rice than meat. it never used to be served that way..and they know it.

Lovely authentic Lebanese food and atmosphere in Wycombe, refreshing find! The shawarma here is delicious and a frequent delivery order for me, but dining in was delightful too with really hospitable service. Love the ambience too, can't beat a traditional Arab playlist and decor.

The owner of the restaurant is an incredibly friendly and welcoming Lebanese man and all the staff are so kind and welcoming I visited the restaurant twice during my visit to the city for work for a week. The atmosphere was beautiful, the cleanliness was very excellent, and most importantly, all the food in the restaurant was halal. I tried shish tawook one time and fish the other time, and both times the food was excellent and the treatment was excellent I highly recommend it

Delicious food and amazing, friendly service. We had the sharing mezza and it was all so tasty and portions were huge, couldn't finish which means more tasty food for later! The baklawa were also very delicious. For drinks, the orange juice was freshly squeezed and a large glass. After we had a Lebanese tea which was lovely. Staff were professional, welcoming and friendly. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for the freshly made food. The atmosphere seemed very authentic and was comfortable. Will be back again soon!

Always an absolute delight dining at this treasure of a Lebanese restaurant. Good is wonderful and a taste explosion of absolute pleasures. Staff are incredibly attentive and top marks for hospitality. Highly recommend!

I'm not happy because my food was cold and not very tasty, I could never fault anything because everything was always fine, but this time not…

Ordered the kofta, it was very hard, difficult to chew. Not good at all, seemed it was cooked long back and reheated fir the order.

the food was cold and the portion was much smaller than expected. Last time, I had enough meat to feed 3 people but this time it was only enough for 1 person. There was plenty of rice but it seemed like too much. I love Mezza House but tonight, I felt let down

Didn't receive my food. The restaurant admitted that they are using delivery drivers that they don't trust and that they can't contact. The staff are very happy for you to go hungry. Unfortunately that will be the last time I will be ordering with Mezza House.

I always love their products now i have no idea why it had no sauce nothing just meat and some pickles, i was surprised as they used to be the best

A lovey restaurant, great service and top quality food. I had the mixed grill and the chicken and dips were to die for. A really chill atmosphere with traditional Arabic music. Definitely worth a visit.

Mixed grill was cracking, arrived on time and piping hot. Salad was a bit bland but who orders a mixed grill for the salad.

Authentic Lebanese food, made fresh in front of you with quality ingredients. Everything is home-made, from the juicy grilled lamb to the baba ganoush and even the flatbread. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the whole place just has great vibes. A hidden gem in Wycombe centre, don't miss it.
