What a find. Pretty neighbourhood restaurant, with excellent classic greek food, homemade, fresh and served with a warm welcome. Housewine was great too.

Kawałek Grecji w Anglii. Genialne smaki, doskonała obsługi. Greckie dania i ich wielkość przeszły wszelkie oczekiwania. Świetny klimat, lokal bardzo przyjemny z grecką muzyką. Wszystko z wielkim plusem. Jak tylko będę miała możliwość, na pewno tam wrócę jako wielki fan greckich smaków.

Very disappointing. We had friends from out of town coming and we made reservation which was confirmed. When we all arrived (in a rainy cold night) they said the canceled the reservation without calling us. Not bother to call or apologize.

First visit to Meze after living in the area for over a year and promising we’d try it every time we drove past. Calm and friendly atmosphere with Greek music and decor. Staff is very attentive (they gave us some finger food for our toddler) and food is very tasty, special mention for the seafood. We’ll be back for seconds.

I came here with three friends and we really enjoyed the food, the wine and the atmosphere! We started with some spread (tsatziki, hummus, etc) then moved on to some meat. The roasted lamb (kleftiko) was particularly delicious. The staff in the restaurant are really friendly and it’s generally a nice space with a nice decor. We particularly loved the tiles. We don’t live in the neighbourhood, but will definitely come back if we are nearby.

Warm atmosphere. Very accommodating staff (I have a dietary restriction related to beef). Food is absolutely delicious and healthy. Nothing tasted unhealthy or fatty/greasy. Our waiter was lovely and very welcoming, he also helped us with extra calamari and humus (both of which are divine). A must visit!

Pleasant local restaurant in NW6. My friend and I opted for the mixed mezze. The cold starters - a selection of dips with pitta bread - were wonderful, as was the next course of halloumi, ham, spicy sausage and mushroom, cooked to perfection. The fish course consisted of some very tasty calamari in batter and a slightly odd textured butterfly prawn. The final course, the meat, was slightly disappointing given how good the previous courses had been. The lamb was ok but the chicken was fairly tasteless. The service is good and friendly, and we were not rushed through what was a lot of food.

Mysigt och välbesökt ställe. Levande musik när vi var där. Vi åt bara förrätter så kan ej uttala mig om maten. Tzatzikin var tyvärr lite smaklös och när jag beställde ”Pork tenderloin” fick jag kassler. Jag påtalade det men hon hävdade att det var rätt. (Pork tenderloin är fläskfilé). Det som också drar ner betyget är den höga ljudvolymen som uppstod pga musiken. Det var svårt att föra någon konversation då alla i lokalen försökte överrösta musiken och varandra.

Meze is a great restaurant with good quality food. We stumbled upon this restaurant since it was very close to our Airbnb. We had some fried calamari which was delicious. And we ordered the mixed meat platter and the octopus dish to share. The mixed meat platter was delicious but we absolutely loved the flavors of the octopus dish, the veggies and the octopus matched perfectly.

Great restaurant with friendly service, high quality foods come with big portions. We mostly like traditional greek dishes, Sea Bass menu, and kebabs which have delicious taste. Also, all meze options good to try while waiting your main dish.

Having got engaged in Greece, Greek food holds a lot of sentiment and this place did not disappoint. We started with the hummus, tabouli, tirokafteri (a spicey feta dip) and a portion of halloumi. Everything was utterly delicious - the hummus was so creamy, the tabouli was delicate and light and full of herbs and the feta dip was a revelation. For our main we shared a mixed grill and switched the rice that came with it for chips. The meat was incredible quality, and the seasoning and slight charring on the meat was perfect. As for the chips, they instantly transported me back to being on holiday, seasoned with oregano. We overordered and could probably have halved the cost of our meal by being a lot less greedy given how generous the portion size was but leftovers were taken home and didn't go to waste. We were far too stuffed for dessert but they surprised us with a complimentary pastry type thing stuffed with a custard filling. It was tasty buy the texture was wrong and slightly curdled. Perusing the dessert menu (they offered us a different dessert for free even though the original was complimentary) I wasn't tempted - very generous but they could do with adding a couple of other options. Likewise the wine list - personally I find Greek wine too sweet for my palate and given the selection was predominantly Greek I wasn't a big fan. That said the service was some of the best I've experienced and the staff really did want to make us happy! I will be returning repeatedly but my advice would be bring an appetite, don't save room for pudding.

Authentic Greek food with a taverna feel to it. Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly service, would definitely recommend. Love the fact that they don't seem to do delivery at all, which means the kitchen isn't over stretched & they'refocussed on diners.

1st visit to Meze Restaurant and will definitely be returning. All 4 main meals, Stefado, Kleftiko, Mousaka & lamb kebab were beautifully made & delicious. The service was excellent very friendly & helpful with the wine recommendations. Thank you Meze for a wonderful evening!!

One of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. Food is very flavourful and authentic; staff is extremely kind and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a home-style meal. Only complaint is that the point-of-sale machine does not allow for tips, therefore gratuities are not included in the bill.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here with 50 guests and we could not have chosen a better restaurant! We had initially struggled to find a restaurant that would accommodate for a party of our size on a Saturday night until we came across this gem! We were so lucky that Manolis the chef / owner was so accommodating to our needs. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for an event. Due to our party size, we decided to do a 'meze' / sharing option for all of our guests which meant everyone could try the various Greek dishes on the menu. Our party included meat eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans - so we ordered separate 'meze' options for them, all of which said the food was amazing and very high quality. The chef cooks everything fresh and all of our Greek and Indian family said that this was some of the best Greek food they have ever tasted. We were very pleased that the restaurant was able to accommodate for all of the different dietary requirements of our party. The food did not stop coming and the portions were huge! Our guests were stuffed by the end of the night and my husband, and I could not believe how good value everything was (including the drinks) when the bill came. The staff were extremely lovely and the whole atmosphere was warm and fun. The staff had arranged the tables for when we got there and set up a table for the cake cutting etc too! The event was a great success with only praise received from our family and friends about the food and service provided. They could also not believe what a great find the restaurant was. We will 100000% be coming back and I think all of our future events will undoubtedly be celebrated here. I know that several of our guests will also be returning to eat here. A 5 minute walk from the Kiln theatre and an amazing menu of greek food. Great service and the kebabs were so tasty that we didn't have room for dessert. Thank you for a great meal.

The food, staff, ambiance everything was lovely. We'll be definitely visiting again. The restaurant name "Meze" means appetizer in Mediterranean countries but it's more than appetizer it's kinda top of the Tapas. Our favorite was by far the mixed mezes from cold starters. There are also really good traditional Greek dishes and as a Turkish who tried several other good Greek restaurants in turkey I have to say the food was excellent.

10/10 would definitely recommend. Food is so fresh, well portioned and very tasty. The service was impeccable and you really felt like they cared about the presentation of their food and the service they provided. A local that was nested away but oozed life of a high street. The wine recommendation that came along with our food preference was spot on and very reasonably priced. Look forward to our next visit !

Cosy restaurant with excellent service, they make you feel like at home. Despite not an expert of greek cuisine, I found this place more authentic than the majority of the greek restaurants in London. Delicious chicken souvla!

This restaurant has been open for six months and we went for the first time last night. The airey room is well designed. The staff are charming. The food is good and well presented on the plate. We shared a double TZATZIKI to start. I had MIX SOUVLA £ 17.00 (Spit roasted lamb and chicken served with roast potatoes) and my wife had VEGETARIAN PLATTER £ 14.00 (Grilled kebab, spanakopita and halloumi cheese Served with side salad). We were both full but then managed some complementary chilled watermelon. I also enjoyed a galls of MOSTRA RED 187.5ML Fresh, fruity and supple red wine, to said. It was a great meal and we will return wit h friends.

It was such a treat to discover this place. It's tucked away but definitely deserves to be a destination restaurant. Everything was freshly made and perfectly cooked, probably the most delicious Greek food I've ever tasted, and I've been to a few Greek restaurant in my time! The chef came out occasionally to talk to diners, which is always a good sign. Service perfect too. They deserve to have queues round the block to get in, (as long as I can get a table...)

We both thought this was the best Greek food we ever had outside of Greece everything lovingly made by hand in house, authentic and traditional. Delicious selection of Greek wines and difficult to choose from the dishes, high points; saganaki, keftedes, spanakopita even the tzatziki and houmous. Charming people and many Greek customers!

My usual Greek (aphrodite in W2) was unavailable so I thought I'd try this new place. Which was a huge disappointment, I've never had such tasteless food from a Greek yet The kleftico was bland and lacked flavour with poor quality lamb used. The taramasalta was also strange very pink and lacked consistency more like a paste. Considering the prices are the same as my fav Greek spot in W2. The quality is severely lacking.

Estuvimos con mi mujer, entramos a cenar porque estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento. Nos sorprendió. La comida riquísima (el cordero excelente), un servicio muy bueno, amables, todo muy limpio y ordenado, comida típica y casera. Buenos precios. Altamente recomendable !!!!!

Finally, a brilliant local restaurant and right around the corner! This place may be slightly off the beaten track, but it is worth a visit. We shared 3 starters - the hummus was rich and creamy, the tabouli fresh and halloumi almost pillowy soft. For main we shared a mixed grill - the lamb was tender, the chicken juicy and some bright red sausage thing so morish we were fighting over the last bite! Even though we only had 3 starters and 1 main, we still had plenty leftover (which I have just eaten in a wrap for lunch!) - the portions here are incredibly generous! Oh and definitely order the chips - seasoned with salt and oregano and oh so delicious! The restaurant itself is lovely - even though the dining room is small, the windows were wide open to let in the night air. As for the service, it was super friendly. Total cost £25 per head with wine - a bargain in zone 1 of London! Will definitely return.

Repas excellents. En entrée on a pris des mix à partager, il y en avait pour 3 ou 4. Et en plat nous avions pris une moussaka qui était très copieuse (j'ai dû demander un doggy bag) et un spécial chicken qui était tout aussi bon. Service rapide et serveuse très agréable.

This opened a few months ago. I'm Greek - there are (only) 1 or 2 decent Greek restaurants in London, but this is by far the best, most authentic Greek Taverna in London, short of trekking to Palmer's Green (and I've not tried that). The food is home cooked style, the guy has a Souvla (rotisserie), the portions are good, the atmosphere friendly, there's an outdoor area for summer, and live greek music on Sundays from 4pm (not loud). The greek salad is excellent, so too are all the meat dishes. The octopus and calamari are great, perfectly cooked, fresh, and hot when they arrive since the Taverna is smallish so the meals aren't sitting on the counter getting cold waiting for staff to serve them. All the food is great, freshly made and unlike many other places, light - not heavy. The staff are friendly and attentive. Be sure to leave a service charge amount if satisfied (you will be!). Try all the great dishes! This place is the closest I've been to being back home in Greece culinary-wise. Tucked away in a small street and well worth visiting. I discovered it 2 weeks ago and have been 3 times already, and booked again for tomorrow! The only dish I personally avoid (had it once) is the Taramasalata - it's a bit fishier & salter than I like, but everything else is a joy! I'm so happy at discovering Meze Restaurant.

Food was awful meat was tastteless and dry. Salad was a tomato cut in half I had to cut the cucumber rmyself feta was a block. This isn't Greek food. If I could would give it a minus star. I did not order wine don't drink.plates where not empty.

Great restaurant, lovely staff.

This place has changed chefs and management recently and it is just insanely good now. Very authentic: the meats are chargrilled and have that juice smoky deliciousness about them. There is nothing I wouldn’t recommend here - the dips, the moussaka type dishes even the Bougatsa dessert is as authentic as eating it in Thessaloniki! Katapliktiko as they say in Greek!
