The staff here are fantastic! So nice and seemed genuinely happy. My friend did the bottomless bruch I went a la carte. Starters were really good and we liked the mains neither of us had a dessert. Can't speak for my friends drinks but I enjoyed mine and she left very merry so I'm guessing the drinks were good. There's also a very impressive selection of tequilas on the menu.

Great spot in the heart of Chelsea. The food is scrumptious and the options are great. The steak to share is magnificent and they have a lot of options for GF guests. Also, the decor is really nice inviting and super cute. The terrace at the back is great. Service is super attentive and they help a lot with the selection. Great atmosphere and superb cocktails. We are definitely going back.

I ordered birria tacos on deliveroo from this restaurant and it was absolute rubbish. Not only were the tacos mushy and falling apart to the the point where it couldn’t be held up, but the restaurant did not include the consommé and ignored my request for napkins and cutlery. £20 for two soggy tacos is outrageous BEWARE!!!!

Don’t come here for a bottomless brunch, the food is poor but the service is worse. They are very stingy with drinks and only provided 6 bottles of corona over the 90 minutes with us waiting 20 minutes at one point to get a new drink. Avoid at all costs

Guy and Aiman provided the best service possible for my girlfriend's birthday, went for the bottomless brunch and the food was nothing short of amazing, frozen margarita's are very dangerous and I will definitely be back

We came for Taco Tuesday which started off well, however, some of the taco tortillas (the corn tortillas) were completely soggy when served to us and fell apart when you tried to pick them up. My main gripe is that on arrival, we were presented with a happy hour drinks menu stating that cocktails were £10 each, and that you could order 2-4-1 frozen margaritas. Little did we know that when you take up this offer, they actually charge you at the full cocktail price of £14 and not the £10 as advertised to us. The waiter came over and showed us a completely different drinks menu we never saw prior that showed the true price of the drink, and nowhere on the happy hour menu did it detail this, nor did the waiter adjust the price after we queried it. The margaritas themselves were nice, but incredibly small portions so finding it hard to see how they can justify charging £14 for one. I was overall enjoying my meal but the drinks misdirection is enough to put me off going back in the future or recommending this restaurant to others. I would also advise not going for tacos on any day other than Tuesday as they become far too expensive for the size of the tacos and the quality of some of the ingredients.

A big thanks to our server, Guy, who made our visit truly special. The drinks and churros were both excellent. Guy’s meticulous and friendly service has definitely made us want to come back with our friends. Thank you Mezcalito team!

Amazing place, really nice staff, although really small menu of food options. We ended up not eating we had few drinks. They are also asking if we want water but they are not saying before hand that you pay for the water £5, which is bad “advertising” and at the end they will service charge you 13.5% forcefully, for what you order, no matter how small or big the order without letting you know. I’m surely not in America and neither seen this before and I have travelled quite often to know this is not something usual. Up to you!! If you choose to go here or not, just heads up before hand!!

Restaurant initially complete. The receptionist then suggested that we stick tables and eat on sofas so as not to wait. The tacos are very tasty and of excellent quality. The recommended quantity in order to eat well is at least 4 tacos, so buy 2 tacos twice.

Excellent table service from Yassine! He gave the best customer service and made sure we had the best time for my birthday. The whole management was ready to accommodate a change on our table setting as initially was too tight for our group! Would definitely recommend for birthdays! (Food portions were small)

Food was good, maybe it’s as close as it’ll get to real Mexican food (coming from an actual Mexican). Service was great, we were greeted and attended by nice men who were very polite. The only problem/disagreement I had was the prices and portions, it was overpriced for the amount of food they serve.

Music: 1/5. Absolutely awful nightclub music. Taste: 2/5. The Campechano tacos were good, everything else we tried (guacamole, esquite, chicken quesadillas, birria quesadillas) was just average. Not inedible, just meh. Service: 2/5. Waiter got our order wrong (but fixed it when we asked). Then they tried to double charge us. I'm glad we checked the bill. All things considered, we are probably not coming back. La Chingada is a lot better!

Legit Mexican food in Chelsea! I've been to this place 3 times with my wife. It's a big part of our annual anniversary celebration. Always start with the guacamole, it's delicious. This time for dinner we had the chicken quesadillas and the prawn tacos. Both were delicious. Follow them with a margarita and you've got the makings for a fantastic evening!

Guy was brilliant - great service

Convinced most of the good reviews are AI, especially the way they are written. Food was diabolical, we got 1 portion of tacos each (2 people) and 2 drinks and the bill was £60. The beef tacos were so greasy the tortilla fell apart whereas the chicken ones were so dry they couldn’t be eaten. Always a bad sign when the “fresh” food comes out within minutes, quicker than a drink can be made. Drinks were good but it’s hard to make a margaritas wrong so the bar is low. Didn’t stay longer than 30 minutes. Awful, never returning

We came for the Sunday bottomless brunch, Guy was absolutely fantastic and really looked after us. Couldn’t have had a better time. We’ll see him and the team again next month!

Low quality, tacos came falling apart because they put highly liquid stuffing in the tacos before delivery. Any decent place would put it in a separate pot and include the shells separately so it's not mush when it arrives. The fish and meat felt low quality, cartilage left in the chicken.

During our visit to London and feeling nostalgic for Mexican food, we ordered a delivery order, which turned out to be a huge mistake! The carne asada tacos we ordered clearly had been in contact with shellfish, which my sister has a very serious allergy to. She ended up having a violent reaction, with swelling, hives, her throat closing up and trouble breathing. She does not react like this to anything other than shellfish. Luckily she had enough medication on hand to prevent going to the emergency room. But she did have to delay her flight the next morning and extend her hotel stay, which ended up costing her hundreds of pounds. It was beyond irresponsible for a restaurant to mix meat and shellfish! My sister wasted a fortune and could have literally died because of this negligence. It’s infuriating. If you have allergies of any kind, stay away from this place. Besides almost killing my sister, the food was average at best.

The taco tuesday doesn’t let you use the happy hour in the 2-4-1 so it’s actually £14 for two frozen margs and idk what was in the nachos but it made both me and my friend throw up after…

The vibe and atmosphere is nice but you can definitely find a better Mexican restaurant in London. The service is so poor, the staff kept on forgetting whatever we needed (the food, the menu, even the bill). And we had to remind them over and over again. Also, they brought wrong dishes to our table. The quality of the food is also very low, we ordered nachos, guacamole, chicken tacos, beef tacos, sweet potato tacos, and chorizo. We didn’t like any of the dishes we ordered except the guacamole. Also, the floor was very uneven to the extend that our table would shake every time a member of the staff or anyone passing by us. (we were sat outside by the staircase that goes indoors). The most horrible part was the toilets which I think they never got cleaned. None of us could use the toilets and it was a disaster. I do not want to think how their kitchen is:/ DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT and save your money and time and energy.

We were walking by the restaurant with my partner yesterday and got invited by one of the waiters to come in and take a look. We went in to see their terrace space and I was treated miserably by another 40 something year old male waiter who joked offering me some tequila and proceded to meanly shout at my face that it was way too expensive for me (I had not even asked for it haha) the younger waiter who was showing us around did not know what to say and we just left feeling very strange...

If I rated this on food alone it would be much higher but unfortunately the service let it down. My girlfriend’s and I came for a regular lunch we didn’t do the bottomless brunch option but wish we had. The service seemed to be a lot better for those doing the bottomless brunch even though we was paying more. Had to keep asking for more drinks from the waiters. I understand they was busy and had to keep on top of the brunches but we did ask to order more drinks 3 times. When it came to paying the bill we had to ask again and again. Eventually when we did get the bill my friend asked for the service charge to be removed as we didn’t agree with the service we had received. We then heard one of the waiters tell another waiter ‘they can wait’ which was in regard to us having to wait to pay our bill. Really wish I had enjoyed my experience more as I was so looking forward to coming and perhaps we did just get here on a bad day. As I said the food alone was amazing it’s definitely worth the trip. Perhaps it would be better to go when there are no bottomless brunches happening.

I had the BEST experience at Mezcalito! The Mexican food here is phenomenal! The taco tortillas are homemade which is so rare to find in London. I had the chicken tacos and the fish tacos; they were delicious! It was Taco Tuesday when I went and the tacos were discounted which was great! I have struggled to find authentic Mexican cuisine in London but this is the place! It could compete with Tex Mex. It’s at that level! The service was wonderful. The waiter Guy was so friendly, welcoming and super helpful with recommendation when ordering. He was attentive and provided great conversation! I will definitely be back and will bring my friends too!

We came for Father’s Day. This was our first visit to this restaurant. Terrible service! Hostess sat us with no menus. No one came to the table. No water, no menus and no greeting from anyone. Servers milling around looking bored but apparently too busy to come to our table? We got up and left. Will not be back. PS the entire outdoor area is smoking. So if patrons don’t smoke they cannot enjoy outdoor dining? Seems a waste.
