Great atmosphere and food platter is great but takes a while.

WORST LOUNGE BAR IN WALTHAMSTOW Sound system was rubbish on a Saturday night and the food smelt off but luckily I got my refund after they apologised!

Not Worth the Hype I recently visited MEZ Lounge and I must say, it was a huge letdown. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our order, and the staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming, to say the least. The dishes were bland and lacked any real flavor. The presentation was sloppy, and the portions were shockingly small for the price. To top it off, some of the food was lukewarm at best, which is just unacceptable. The atmosphere also left much to be desired. The restaurant was noisy and cramped, making it hard to enjoy any sort of conversation. The tables were sticky, and it seemed like cleanliness was not a priority here. Overall MEZ Lounge was a big disappointment. There are far better options out there. Save your time and money and avoid this place. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 1 star.

I must say Mez lounge is the place to be! Lovely food, great service, the owners are so welcoming, friendly which definitely makes my time there more comfortable with great laughs. I've been to the brunch last week which was superb, I go every Thursday to the karaoke which again is such a vibe with friendly people singing away forgetting the stresses of daily routine. Would definitely recommend this place without a doubt. Thank you Mez lounge!

I went for a friend's birthday party. Food was well spiced and cook to perfection. Friendly and professional staff and beautiful atmosphere.

West End / City look, excellent ambience! The proprietors made our party and experience a memorable one, the food was simply divine and the staff friendly. On behalf of our birthday party crew, we highly recommend this as a best eat out and party venue.

Very nice lounge to chill out and vibe

Attended an event here for a friend's 50th birthday. Food was good . Service was good , but we only had one waitress for our large booking. She was working really hard.

Thank you for a wonderful evening was My man bday and service was just on point the lady the owner 5* she was so nice to talk very helpful kind and the staff excellent service the food 5* was our 1st visit and will be back for sure and of course the Dj was 5* too even put the music ask for Thank you again and of course will recommended Mez Lounge good place to chill the deco was on point love this place🥰🥰

Fantastic atmosphere , had my 40th birthday in the premises and it was a blast. Great vibe , great management and good music . Proximity to train station, night bus , great location and many more. Folks let’s promote the place , it was good and will like to go there again again and again

Beautiful decor, has potential, but the female owner is RUDE. I don't know why she wanted to treat me and my friend so bad as we were only polite, but she did. She was full of attitude, told us food was finished that wasn't finished and then I feel she purposely messed up our order. Walking around with a face like thunder. I expect an apology. I was part of an event there and didn't deserve to be treated like that. Otherwise I can't recommend this place.

This place has a great vibe, funky decor the staff are friendly, and the music is great. Also It's brilliant that you can get food after 10pm.

We had our New Year's girls night out last Saturday and the atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was great and the Music had us on our feet like crazy. We really had a great time and management was very helpful too. I will recommend this venue for a lovely night out or dine out. Will definitely add to my regulars....

every review under this website is lying. Their staff are very rude and impatient they refused to service us without any explanation. We felt very uncomfortable arriving at the restaurant since we got weird stares from the staff members and they would totally ignore us when we asked to speak to a member of staff. On top of that , the place is dirty , barely any of the tables are cleaned and it stinks. I do not recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for an African restaurant to eat at.

Awful resturant. Firstly the service was extremely slow. Waiting 1 hr for my food only to be served with a very disgusting fish with awful seasoning. I complained and owner told me that he would not do anything about it and literally dismissed me and then abruptly cleared my plate. I will never return again. Customer service is non-existent. We had to que up to be served food also! Food was super overpriced for what you get too

My latest find for just chilling and having a good time. This place is really kool, not overpriced, and has excellent customer service. They have an Africana Platter on the menu, its a must try, amazing, the chef is great. Drinks are decently priced. They have a shisha garden, a resident DJ, karaoke 🎤 evening. A really fun filled outing.

Last week was my first time here and from the moment I got to the door myself and three friends were greeted by a very smily and polite door staff. He complimented us and wished us a good night as he held the door open for us. Most places, security compliment you and then ask for a number etc but this guy was very professional. He also asked if we had a good time when we were leaving and wished us a safe journey home. Owner/Manager take note as first impressions really do count😁 (26/08/23 for reference lol) We spent all our time in the garden and the decor is absolutely amazing, very Instagram worthy, if that's your thing! My friends ate some food and were raving about how delicious it was. One even mentioned she's had this before else where but this is the best she's had ever. Reading other reviews some people were not happy you have to get up and go to the bar to order drinks, but the staff were more than happy to attend to us in the garden area and bring drinks with a card machine. As for parking, we parked right outside but of course this may be tricky during the day. Music was A1, the atmosphere was A1 and if this Lounge was in Canterbury it would be my new local. Until then, whenever I am in London I will definitely pass by. 🥂

Really great authentic Afro-Fusion food with great vibes inside. Highly recommend. I used the Stanley Road Car Park 2 mins away.

Very nice place to enjoy with your loved ones or your friends. We were there last Saturday and it was awesome. Nice food, well cooked and testy. They only issue is parking.
