Just wanted to say the best cafe going in leyton great service 5 star , great atmosphere 5star, and great food an all 12/10 defo 5star, best fry up ive had definetly recommended oh and the manager was smashing too sorted us out phat portions and had a great chat 5star for him too

My experience was very warm and welcoming. I had a full English and it was cooked perfectly. The omelette was especially delicious. Would recommend others to visit this cafe

Beware, the bacon is actually processed turkey meat with food colouring and flavourings. It's not real bacon.

Had a lovely meal here with a few friends. Vibrant atmosphere and lots of choice in the menu.

I came here to have breakfast with my colleagues. Absolutely wonderful experience! 10/10 customer service. The portion sizes were extremely generous while the price is reasonable cheap. Would highly recommended to any family wanting to eat all day breakfast.

Last of the London cafes where you get A lovely welcome, friendly service, good old fashioned full English breakfast & really good prices. A proper ‘greasy spoon’ but without the grease 👍

Popped in for, early lunch and was appalled. At least 5 of the tables were covered with dirty cup and plates. After waiting a good 15 minutes , my food arrived. My sausage was probably cooked hours before and reheated. My egg was both broken and over cooked, whilst the beans (which were poured over my chips) were congealed. The one star awarded, was for the young waitress who worked with a smile. Avoid this cafe at all costs.

The food is bad , very substandard & tasteless, you can tell they use cheap ingredients. A lot has really changed compared to the previous owner. Reviews very misleading. The meal is really not worth the price or they should hire new chefs.

Owners lovely but the food is not worth it at all. You can tell the cheapest ingredients have been used here and the portion sizes are laughable. I can't remember the last time I went out to a café and left hungry .... no idea what £30 was spent on between 4 people. Half of the menu items are unavailable and the owner insisted for a solid 5mins+ that a Veggie burger was a Bean burger. If you don't have an ingredient, just inform the customer beforehand so that they do not waste their time. The owner was very attentive, warm and kind but his food definitely is not up to scratch!

I think somethings's changed with this place recently, as all of these photos and older reviews are incredibly misleading compared to what you get. Food: I got cold, undercooked veg sausages, (which I suspect were cooked straight from frozen in a frying pan) a miniscule portion of rubbery overcooked mushrooms, and some very wet bubble n squeak. The baked beans were totally fine. Portions overall were definitely small, I got smth else from Sainsbury's on the way home... Service: Waitress greeted me by rolling her eyes at the previous customer's (admittedly poor) smalltalk and later flatly refused to add tomatoes to my breakfast order 20 secs after I placed it, because "the guy was already making it". It still took 20 mins to come out and there were only 3 other people in the caf... They forgot my cutlery and I'd about finished my meal when my toast finally came out. Significantly unenjoyable experience overall. Possibly (likely) the worst fry up brekkie I've ever had.

Members of staff were very friendly, there was a lot of football memorabilia on the walls which was cool, the burger was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. It was £6.50 for a burger, chips and a drink. Highly recommended.

Be careful the staff will try and rip you off and charge you a different price to that on the menu. Very deceitful tactics and dishonest people. Will not visit again and do not recommend! Shocking and very disappointed!

Not sure what's happened here, used to be good a few months ago. Now gone really downhill, no atmosphere, quiet, food greasy and not enjoyable.

Not sure what happened here. This used to be great - clean, huge portions, steaming hot and fresh, friendly service and value for money. However, when I met a friend for lunch recently the tables were dirty despite there being no more than half a dozen customers, I waited for my table to be cleaned but ended up cleaning it myself so my friend could sit down. My egg was small and overdone, the chip portions have dramatically shrunk and they didn't taste particularly fresh or hot. Perhaps worst of all, though was the woman serving who was shrieking with others so loudly we had to leave so that we could hear each other talk. Incredibly disappointing.

A nice clean friendly cafe...I like the back ground old days music...I grab a coffee from here most mornings 👍🏻 breakfast is nice but the sausage is abit roapy 😆

Have not bought anything just wanted to say that hours need to be updated, walked in on friday at 7.45 am and it was closed. And it was supposed to be open at 7 am according to their hours.

Staff extremly friendly, always welcome. Prices are affordable, good portion, perfect quality.

Ordered poached eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and black pudding. The poached eggs were still swimming in the water as they didn’t wipe the water from the pan, so the plate was very watery where they just dumped the eggs on the plate. I had to use tissue paper to wipe the plate. Really really off putting, place has gone down Hill, will not be going back.

I love this place! I would definitely go again the gentleman there was absolutely amazing, the food was served piping hot and absolutely delicious, the place was clean and tidy and I couldn't have had a more delicious meal that day! thank you so much in you were absolutely wonderful! I needed to get back pretty sharpish. Next time I show up I'm leaving a tip!

My first visit for some time but, if I lived nearby I'd eat here all the time. On this occasion I had shepherd's pie and was pleased that they aren't one of those establishments that don't serve potatoes with it as it's already topped with mashed potato (& melted cheese - mmmm). They serve it with roasties & mixed veg (frozen, I believe, but very tasty). The music played was also excellent - vintage U.S. swing classics.

I really like this place - it's great to go there and be fed, chill out, watch the world go by, and the portions are generous and tasty. But please *change the music*! If I'm having my breakfast the last thing I want to hear is rap, R&B etc played at too loud a volume. Put it on Smooth radio for example and at a moderate volume. That would work so much better!

Great little local cafe, staff are really friendly and funny. Had a wonderful English breakfast that was prepared with care tasted really good. Would really recommend to go there especially if your around make sure you try them out.

This is an awesome reasonably priced café that does an great breakfast fry up. I visit from time to time and have never had a bad experience.

Food seems to be bland and doesn't have much taste. Presentation is good that's no substitute for the poor tasting food.

Feels like at home.Prices are cheaper than other coffee shops and portions are the biggest ones eveytime. Staffs are always caring and smiling to us. Delicious foods and coffees. Definitely I will come to eat there again.
