Mexita in Glasgow City

Booked this restaurant by email for my sons 24th birthday celebration on 4/10/16 I received 2 emails confirming the booking one received on the 3rd the second on the 4th confirming the date time and amount of people to be seated. We all turned up to a closed restaurant. I've emailed but no reply has been received as yet. Telephone number has message advising they can't take the call. Very disappointing. Bookings by email should not be taken when a place has closed down.

Food took forever and was completely tasteless the mac and cheese was smothered in butter and cheese barely any flavour Bland. Bland and Italian food is not something I've ever found myself saying Also the Italian sausage and king prawns in tomato chilli sauce yet again completely tasteless bar the sausage Bruschetta again Bland tasteless the cheese literally no flavour whatsoever strange. Pesto chicken goujons cold dry and again flavourless I had been told to get food here what a letdown Again I've never in my life experienced Bland Italian food but hey you guys managed it and excelled at it good job.

I recently visited Blue Lagoon and had an amazing experience! The Fish and Chips were absolutely delicious, with perfectly crispy batter and tender fish. The chips were golden and fluffy, making for a classic comfort meal. Our host, Nina, was incredibly warm and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Pollo milanese came served with rigatoni not spaghetti! Spaghetti bolognese was meatballs not mince! Lasagne very small portion. Felt ignored by the staff for long periods. Won't be going back!

Lovely restuarant, we had the small plates menu, everything was delicious. Served by the lovely Katie who helped us choose. Lots of other great staff including the owner Vincent who had lots of entertaining stories!
