Very disappointed! food were very soggy. Instead of dips there was a 3 little containers with sour cream, also guacamole over salted, nachos thrown into small plastic box, to be honest it could be organised better.

Made my niece's birthday meal very special, great food and atmosphere but the friendly staff are a credit to the place.

Amazing food! We wanted some decent Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The location is a bit odd, but once you enter the restaurant you forget where you are. The decor is lovely and the owner and waitress were really welcoming and attentive. The starters blew us away and the mains were equally delicious.The portions sizes are really worth the money. Despite eating so much we had room for dessert which was also exceptional. Couldn't fault the service or the food! Oh and the bring your own alcohol drink policy is such a great idea. Wish more places did this. You can take your own beer/wine and they will charge you a nominal amount of £2.50. However, they do ask you buy soft drinks from them, which is totally understandable. Definitely will be visiting again!

Well this was a welcome break from other take aways! We might have travelled some way to collect the food as it was out of the delivery area but the food was excellent and we’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely Mexican restaurant. A hidden gem.

We didn’t have high expectations but the food was delicious and tasted authentic. We ordered 3 starters (quesadilla, calamari, potato skins) plus 1 Fajita steak and chicken combination. Everything was great but my favourite was the Fajita. They are not serving alcohol but guests are free to bring their own drinks without corkage fee. They also have a separate Vegan and Gluten Free menu. Their staffs are very friendly and helpful. Our total dining experience was great. Highly recommended.

What a gorgeous little place. Family run business and you can really tell, they put a lot of love in the food and the staff are very friendly. It’s a lovely environment to eat in. The portion sizes of food are huge!! You definitely get what you pay for and you can always take your food away to save for later. There’s vegan, vegetation and gluten free options as well which I love as I don’t really eat meat when I eat out. I will definitely be coming back here again!.

Would be good if they made different levels of spice in the chilli it was very mild but still tasty

This has always been a special place for us. It's our most frequently visited restaurant. Located on the outskirts of town, this delightful hidden gem is a must for Mexican food lovers. The Fire Garden has a great menu. you don't have eyes bigger than your belly as the servings will cater for the most voracious appetites. The owners don't have a alcohol licence but have no issues with bringing your own. The staff are excellent, and the chef is a genius.

Ordered take away, it was luke warm and so much cheese that I couldn't actually eat the nachos, it was bland, 1st time ordering, won't be again!

Been here twice now and absolutely love it, will be back again if we're ever in the area again! The portions are a good size, and more importantly, everything we've tried has been really tasty. Very flavoursome and good spice level. The staff there are very friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I booked a last minute table, the food was outstanding the atmosphere was brilliant the food was served fast the waiters were polite and happy to serve. It was a wonderful choice I would highly recommend.

Pleasant staff, and large quantities of food. However, it was very bland and it caused me to have diarrhoea and vomiting. The rice seemed stale and the time lag between my having eaten and the onset of vomiting was about 4 hours, so likely bacillus cereus or similar. Diarrhoea followed at about 6-8 hours, and I lost 2kg in 3 days. We were in a hurry to eat, stopping here while travelling through, and managed to get in and out in about 20 minutes, and so we were grateful that the staff here were so friendly and efficient. My Chimichanga was the size of a throw-pillow. Contents of chimichanga were nondescript and stodgy, like a cheese pasty, with occasional vegetable shapes in the paste. Very little in the way of fragrance nor of any spice. Exact recollection of the taste is difficult as it was so similar when I tasted it the second time, but I recall being confused by how bland it was. This is a rare thing for Mexican food, even when done poorly. Guacamole was soupy and over-processed, and seemed only distantly related to avocados. Sour cream very gelatinous, and had corners. The rice was extremely white, with dots of colour from random vegetables which were somehow not detectable by taste or texture. There was a small perfunctory green salad of limp green leaves in gloopy dressing. My partner became sad when eating, imagining people for whom this was the only place they could travel to to get Mexican food. I am not familiar with the local area but perhaps this is the only Mexican food for miles, and locals are trapped in a Mexican food Plato's cave. I have very rarely eaten such bad food, however, as I said, the staff were friendly and the décor was fun, hence the two stars. There was sufficient time before the onset of my food poisoning for me to get to my destination but the rest of the holiday was a bit of a wash.

The food was tasty hot and filling. the garlic bread was a little disappointing though!

obviously pre cooked. it came out of the tub in one lump. it was cold and really tough. rice was good and garlic bread ok. will not order from here again.

Cannot fault my experience of this restaurant. Service great, atmosphere cozy, food huge portions & if it beats you like it did me they give u plastic boxes to take food home, so great value. Great selection of food & knowledgeable staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening. Well done Also has vegan & gluten free menus.

Ordered this for my birthday which fair enough is valentines, and I expected them to be busy but wow. The chimichanga was literally wet because they’d just put it in a sealed container. The nachos looked like they were thrown into the container from a distance. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had from Just Eat and ruined my birthday, never ever again.

The staff Ali was very friendly and helpful, we had a lovely little chat while waiting for our food, the portions were large and the food was pretty good tex mex. The menu had a large variety, we opted for chicken and sujuk fajita, nachos with beef and chicken quesadillas along with a soft drink for 60£ Also, it is halal

We arrived a little early but the host was very accommodating. Our order was taken very quickly and food arrived in good time and the starters and mains were all delicious, everywhere was clean and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere too. Would definitely return.

Went out for dinner with some friends and had the best time, the food was all good/large portion sizes and had beautiful citrus flavours throughout. Both the waitress and the chef were so lovely and polite and the. Restaurant itself had great music and a great vibe. Would 100% come back again, not a single thing to change/improve!!!

Wonderful service, wonderful ambience, and delicious food. Once (Mat) was made aware Sally was an Assistance Dog, our party of seven was made to feel very welcome. (Credit to Mat for being so non-confrontational when dealing with Sally's presence) Mat the waiter went above and beyond what was required of a "mere waiter;" and he was very good at ensuring that we were looked after and were enjoying ourselves. Highly recommended establishment.

We order food few night ago and surprisingly it was all tasting differently in a bad way, unfortunatelly. It was spicier and sos was sour. We are ordering once a month, and I know the food, the taste. But we got disappointed last time. We will order again, hopefully will be as we know it

Extremely attentive and friendly staff, a special mention to Ali who went above and beyond during our visit. The menu was varied and we all struggled what to order as there was so much choice. The portions were plentiful and the food was flavoursome.

Food not very nice as it was put into the microwave to heat up as I sat there and watched them do it When I complained the owner with the glasses and short grey hair in a bun was very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing is the waitress was very polite but I would say she was still at school (15yr old) and working until 10 pm at night is highly aligal.

This was our second visit to Mexican Fire Garden as we really enjoyed our first visit a couple of years ago. The food is consistently delicious! The staff are attentive and friendly, checking for allergies, fussy eaters etc as they genuinely want to ensure that your meal is exactly to your liking. The menu is comprehensive, with many well known Mexican dishes and interesting options. For us, our firm favourite is chilli in an edible tortilla basket. Portions are generous and hit the spot. Mexican Fire Garden may not be located in the town centre, but it is absolutely worth the short journey within Kettering. NB: they don't serve alcohol, you need to bring your own and pay a small corkage fee. This didn't bother us in the slightest, but it's worth being aware of this.

Just from the services and warm welcome with Ali was reviving a 5* And then the food come and it deserves another 5*, authentic and tasty Mexican meal, I had the nachos and Mexican fire garden tacos and as recommended the hard shells, absolutely delicious. Many delicious options from the Gluten free menu, When I’m back down here I will definitely be coming again. Thankyou Ali and the chefs on tonight.

An incredible gem in Kettering. The service we received for my wife’s birthday meal was fantastic and the great interaction with my daughter was so well received. Food was lovely, portions were huge. I don’t think I’ll be able to move for a couple of days 😂 In short, great atmosphere, fantastic food, awesome service. Definitely worth a visit.

The actual definition of a hidden gem, this is a spectacular spot to eat delicious food hidden in the suburbs of Kettering. It's BYOB and there is a Co-op next door. For our visit we ate appetisers, starters and mains and it was all delicious. The staff are lovely and the vibe is relaxed but fun. They are family friendly and open from 4pm every day. I can easily see this being a community centric place for a quick evening meal as well as a great place for a longer meal with friends and family. I will be coming again and getting takeaway from them again in the future. I've eaten their food 3 times and it's never disappointed. They have a great gluten free menu too!

My friends and I have been to MFG lots of times now and it’s our favourite place to eat. I’ve travelled around the world and eaten at some famous places but I can confidently say it’s top of my list. The food is always delicious and the staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend booking in advance as the establishment is a cosy one! I have had several great take outs, a truly great standard of food. However, last couple of times I switched up and went with beef then chicken fajitas. The fajitas just weren’t the same quality I’d experienced previously with other dishes. I also only had 3 small fajitas on the last occasion, which is not enough. I was a little disappointed.

This Restaurant is definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed, from the minute my daughter and I arrived Saturday 29 July we were greeted by Ali who was so friendly and very welcoming, after looking through a gorgeous menu we certainly were not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious, the presentation and the freshness was just perfect. Ali and his team were very attentive. It has been a very long time since my daughter and I have had everything just perfect. Thank you very much and we will definitely be back.
