Mex Locos in Plymouth

I ordered a medium nacho grande nacho to go. The guacamole was brown, it came with 7 chips and no salsa.

Mex Locos faded at the end of last year and was empty for some time. Now there is a new eating place called Cafe Brasil which seems to be friendly and keen.

Haven't seen more than an occasional customer in here for months. This afternoon it looked deserted as if a shift had finished a while ago and no one had paid any attention or looked in for an age.

Awful food stale tacos and nachos .extremly rude staff. Chips with black bits of dirt all over from fryer. No guacamole awful dirty place

Thought I would have lunch here,big mistake,greeted by the worst staff ever one was even vaping behind the food counter.Had the chicken burrito,Luke warm and barely filled,stale nachos with it.wonder how old the food was?.had to wait for chips as they hadn't put the fryer on,then get served the greasiest oldest chips I have ever had.would never recommend this place no wonder I was the only customer in the building.

Was just walking past and found this place. Very reasonably priced but top quality food, good size portions and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be visiting again!

What a pleasant surprise. Really friendly welcome, freshly prepared food, "just how you want it". Fast food that is freshly prepared, deliciously tasty. Serving alcohol if you want it, but the fresh milkshakes were just like you'd make at home. A real hidden gem. Highly recommend

We'd been meaning to try Mex Locos for a while, and finally got round to it. This is the second burrito/Mexican place to open up in Plymouth recently. The service was fast and friendly, and. between us, we tried all three of their hand-pulled meats: beef, pork and chicken. The burritos are over-stuffed and very filling, and are made to your specifications in front of you, same with the tacos. The garlic-chilli sauce is a must try, and for bigger appetites, I recommended the 12 inch burrito, rather than the 10!

After roaming the usual haunts on a busy Saturday in Plymouth city center we thought we'd venture around to see what we could find... nice to see a lot of new, niche and independent cafes/restaurants popping up around this part of town. Mex Locos was a great find and extremely good value for money!!! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend popping in for a bite to eat and maybe a even a cocktail of a weekend afternoon.

Great tasting food. Served by friendly staff who took great pride in the food they provided. This is simple tasty very hearty food. We had Burritos and tacos. Great milk shakes too. Will be back soon.

Came in today for a burrito snack which was OK and served by a helpful easy going young man but which was acceptable and tasted alright but didn't make me feel that it was anything out of the ordinary . It's got a pleasant open feel with tables against a long bench seat. The windows were covered with condensation and there were just a few other customers. I didn't go for a boozy accompaniment but tried to imagine what something with a bit of punch might have done for my digestion. Prices OK. Not yet sure whether I would rush back.

Sorry to see the Chilli place shut down the road but at least it was replaced by the top notch ACP and now we have the Mex Locos which also does things stuffed with beef chilli. They do lots more. I have only been in early evening when the choices were slightly reduced but it was tasty cheap and served up quickly. Haven't had the nerve to try one of the cocktails yet. Our visit was a rush in and emerge four minutes later with a huge tray of goodies. Someone needs to take some inside photos. I tried with my phone but can't seem to upload them here because of the awful Tripadvisor app system.

Came in early yesterday evening on a damp quiet night. Cafe is clean and bright. They do Tex Mex type food and have a short row of optics from which they offer cocktails. I fancied a veggie burrito but they had just sold out of that filling so I had a portion of chilli with rice and salads which was rather less than £3 and tasty. Might call in again daytime soon. Apparently it's been open since late June this year but I had not noticed it before. Someone said the previous tenants of the unit used to sell party costumes. No sign of that now.

Abrió sus puertas cerca de la parte inferior de Cornwall St cerca de muchos otros nuevos pequeños cafés y comida para llevar independientes. Este hotel está cerca del portugués. Sí Locos vende muchos incluyendo Tacos nachos Burritos y el menú se refiere a batidos y cócteles, aunque sólo nos llevó a cabo Tacos y Burritos que eran sorprendentemente bueno y bien de precio. No es un mal lugar para sustituir el Chili al final de la calle que cerrado hace unos meses. Tomé algunas fotos pero Tripadvisor no te permiten añadir cualquiera de una reseña escrita con una solicitud de la primera lista. Es una lástima.
